I just checked the COREN portal and see that the COREN first quarter Professional Examination is scheduled to be held between 5th – 8th February 2024 in Abuja.

Please can someone help me out with how the exam is? Need a guide for the exam preparation.

I really want to say a very big thank you to the Lord for the journey so far.

The journey was smooth, I taught I was going to give birth 37/38 weeks, but no signs I was worried till 40weeks.

On 40weeks the Dr. Said if I don't fall into labor by 41weeks that I will be induce (I was worried my husband and some in the group encourage me)

On a Friday I and my husband went for scan and discovered the baby was 4.2kg, then Saturday we has to visit the hospital to update them of the latest which they said if its through then I have to go for Elective CS as a first time mum.(The hospital carried out their own scan and discovered it was 4.5kg, so I was booked for elective CS)

The CS was done on 27th July, baby and mother is strong.

We give thanks to God. Wishing other mum safe delivery.

EDD: 18 July
DOB: 27 July.
Baby weight: 4.45Kg.

Teamie this is the same thing the scan I did this morning was saying post dated,4.02kg,grade 3 maturation..my doctor didn't even waste time after today's scan..she asked the nurses to do v/e for me and fix oxytocin drip for me...after few hours labour started..I saw stars(mehn..labour pain no b here..I no go lie)..but I thank God it ended in praise..so once you get to the hospital on tuesday they should start the process cos baby is just adding up now.scan gave me 4.02kg..but he came weighing 3.8kg..Dont worry about the FL and the rest that's d size of the limb and other body parts..
All is well Teamie.You will deliver with ease

Please mama's in the house, my advice is if you are 41wks plus please go for induction or CS don't wait till after 42wks. Iwinnie EDD was July 4th, don't know why her Dr. Had to wait till 20th for CS which is more than 2wks after.

The probability of child been alive 2wks after EDD is by God's grace, because the placenta is decaying so no means of livelihood for the child.

Also also know your LMP to aid you calculate your EDD to avoid fake result from scan.

With so much tears in my eyes Am out of the race mummies, I was booked 4 cs on monday but sunday morning i wasnt hearing my baby movement, he Wasn't playing with me, so i ran to the hospital doctor wasnt on ground, d nurse checked heartbeart and said baby is fine I guess she didnt want me 2 panick, but i was not convinced i went round the town no were to do scan because it was on a sunday morning.
.
fast toward to Monday I left home as early as 7am with my mother in law because DH wasn't around, so I did d scan and d radiologist said I should go give my doctor the result,
.
when doctor saw d report he just told me DAT instant that baby was dead, I almost collapsed. my bp rose to 160/110
.
they placed me on injections and bed rest till Tuesday morning to bring baby out. I felt pain throughout that night so Tuesday morning we were waiting for doctors to do cs, but he came some minutes past 9am as against his usual 8/8;30 timing.
.
marathon prayers were held here and there for me,
i didnt know d stomach pains was labor so when nurse check me she say am in labour (4cm) before the team of doctors came ,and checked again, my bp also reduced so they said no cs again that I'll give birth myself.
.
that was how the journey of excruciating pain started from 9 am till 4pm before main show started, I saw hell the doctors and Master Jesus took charge and baby was forced out at 4;20pm

help ME thank Master Jesus for saving me despite prophesies I came out alive but without my son.

my problem now is my breast its as strong as stone I couldn't sleep throughout d night.

I'm having same issue too...this is not my first pregnancy yet I've ed my edd..my doctor wants to give me more time to fall into labour naturally as she said I still have max 2weeks after edd to fall into labour before they start any form of intervention like induction.my doctor is sticking with my LMP date..so I'm doing my best to fall into labour naturally before the last date.
About the reduced baby movement..the scan you did should tell you if there is anything to be worried about.for now I only feel Braxton Hicks,loss of appetite,and baby is deep down the pelvis as I feel alot of pressure.. doing my best to kick start labour.just have it in mind that you won't be pregnant forever and try not to worry too much about it..which date did your yesterday scan give you?
It shall end in praise for us all.

If you observe movement reduction of your baby. I will advice you go for scan.

Congrats to all my teamie that have birthed, "july" I need help on this, all scans carries different date, going by my last menstrual circle due date should be 20th july went for scan yesterday and I also saw different date..no sign of labour for me at all.. Baby movement reduced infact I don't feel so heavy like before.. This pregnancy is just different from for the previous.. Thanks Cappo. I don't know how on and off contraction feels like as I'm a FTM. But I feel so much pain in my jajaina(guess its pelvic pain). Menstrual pain is very light and that's when I lie down. To get up from bed or change direction when lying down is world war II. I have been trekking daily for 45mins, doing frequent yoga exercises and taking pineapples. Do these amount to anything?
