You even mentioned fast food companies that just bakeries. Have learnt that 70 perfect of all container entering Nigeria goes to the East. meaning they are own by Igbos and more than half of the remaining 30 percent that remain in lagos are also own by Igbos. An igbo man will run a business that is worth 10 billion naira in a hidden place, use enterprises as his business name. Yoruba will use company with flashy name ending in International Limited but don't earn even 50M a year. how come you did not mention all the Igbo companies that are worth billions of naira and import all the items you see in Nigeria. don't you think they are worth far more than those you label as yoruba companies. take note no single individual own a bank according to Nigeria law. those banks belongs to 5 person and above for limited company and million of people if it is PLC. go to Aba, Nnewi and Onisha, when you put all the big company together, you will know that lagos is toy. |

Felimax: So Oyo has many professors, and yet they are very dumb—those professors who can't add simple math. That was how Ekiti prof disgraced himself the other time. A professorship is not a degree. Intelligence is not about being a professor. As you know, most professors are dumb in Nigeria. what has our prof achieved in the past 30 years? |

christistruth01: All the banks involved in the fraud, including Jaiz Islamic Bank, the C.E.O., and three others, were arrested two weeks ago for exploiting nigerians. it is the CBN that makes the rules in such a way to allow them exploit Nigerians. Bode himself is not clean, was he not jailed for stealing billion of naira? at least allow the dead Access bank CEO to be buried before you start raising dust. not proper at this moment for a man that also lost his wife and son in an accident. |

Bullfallo: It is time we started using alternatives to cement for the building of houses. Burnt brick takes less cement, we need interlocking burnt brick buildings that will also help reduce the heat in the building. Laterite bricks are eco friendly. Making roofing tiles from laterite is also a good idea. The government should allow up to 10 people to import cement. why leave it in the hand of Dangote alone to exploit us |

Closing at 4 p.m is ok, but staying longer than that is not worth it. Have a particular day in the week when you close 3.30pm if you notice you usually don't have much business that day. Just a day in a week will go a long way. A few years ago, when I was running my exchange business, some days we closed at 3.00 p.m. because we could work from anywhere between 3 and 4 pm. It involves taking an order and filling it out online within 5 to 10 minutes. We had just two staff. In the future, I will incorporate a resting room for men and another for women where staff can rest during break periods or if they just need that rest once I start my farm business. We should treat humans fairly; our staff are not our slaves. God brought them to help us achieve our goal, and we are to treat them the way we would love to be treated. noblefarm: In my own opinion plantain may not do well in Ilorin as the rain fall is a bit low. Raining season too short in Ilorin and the market is far to be profitable. Vegetables is better. You will need a well in the farm for water. 1 Like |

libertanna: You are better off being a distributor of food items in your area. You can run cooperative food sharing service. Where you have like 20 to 100 member where you buy good in bulk and share. That will enable you sell your share at a good rate to buyers elsewhere. Forex or crypto trading is very risky and I will not advise anyone that is low on cash to go into it as it make end badly. You could loose your money in less than 1 hour. This is the season palm oil. Take advantage to buy cheap now and resell by August to September for almost double the money. Lastly, rent a farm land for 10k and farm plantain on it and you can earn 300k a plot. I wish you well. 1 Like |

MadeINchenzen2: Hardship will not go away if all we do is talk without doing anything. we all need to go into farming, rent every available piece of land, and farm it. We need to spend money wisely. Who will produce food for you if all we do is stay in the city and make noise? if you can only live well by owning a motorcycle, then don't risk buying a car for 5-10 million naira; don't live in a house that is more expensive than your income. clean water that you can make yourself for less than 10 naira at home, you're buying bottled water for #200. Just imagine how many your family will consume daily. get clean borehole water, boil it, and add few drop of Oxone Your water is better than that sold in plastic bottles. Just make your life easy and simple. There is money everywhere, so don't go to the big city when the money you are looking for is also in a small city where rents are far cheaper. That akara you are frying in lagos and paying rent of #50,000 monthly can be done in any LGA in your state where rent is less than #8,000 a month. May God grant us wisdom. Standstrong: Life is simple if only humans are ready to adjust according to the situation. This year will be tough. So rent a plot of land for 10k a year and plant plantains, and you could make 300k by this time next year per plot. plant yams and vegetables too. Stop spending 70k–100k a year on pure/bottled water boil and filter your water. Use a fuel saver for your car to cut petrol cost. Get a pressure stove that uses waste oil to cook, which is very cheap. buy bulk data and share it with friends. that will save you data costs. you are not competing with anyone, So adjust your lifestyle and all will be well. The lady in my own opinion is just saying what is not true. Maybe she wants to get undue attention, Pastor E A Adeboye, is highly respected Man of God in this country. Even non Christians know this. There was no reason for this lady to have written this. The language used shows she is frustrated or has frustrated herself. She need prayers. As for the issue of Redeemed University, it will be foolish talk to assume that university education will be cheap especially for a privately run organisation that is even non profit. all over the world private education is not cheap. check all the private university in Nigeria, the university bulid build by churches is to provide quality education, the missionary school in those days were funded by european churches and christian organisation and individual. since the european missionaries left they have all collapse due to lack of funding. it will be unreasonable anyone to think that churches will build university and charge #30,000 yearly as tuition fee even when PHD lecturers collect over #250,000 to #350,000 salary monthly while the school take billions of naira to build and several more to maintain. Some Nigerians just dont want to wake up from this sleep. imagine a man with 2-3 wives with more than 8-10 children. how is he going to train them. the dont take responsibility for the upkeep and training of their children even when he knows he is a poor man. they will still engage in having more children that they cant care for on to shift the responsibility to the church or government. what a shame. they expect that schools should be free tuition or charge #10,000 per semester so that their battalion of children can school their. It worries me because the poor at the one that dont even think of how to improve their life. just 2 or 3 children would have been ok instead the only he know how to do to impregnate lot of women, have more kids that they can care for the turn around to blame church, society and Government for all their problem. My question, is it that #10 or #50 tithes that some people give to the church for God's that make them believe that they are entitles them to get free or almost free University education for the battalion of children. ironically, those that give tithe and offerings in large sum don't complain about it. It is always non member that complain out of bias. funny indeed. It has been common practice to see some people complain about how churches are not doing much for their member, usually it always come from non and those that bear christian name but are not true christian themselves. if you ask then how many people they have been able to train even within their own family you will fine out non, they are greedy and selfish, they even embezzle they tithe and offering and spend thousands of million of naira on burial, birthday party and even for goat naming ceremonies here and their while their brother children can afford even private primary education. Our attitude need to change, give birth to children you can train, spend your money wisely and plan the future wisely too so that one will not be blaming churches and government for every responsibility that they have committed. Interestingly, The Redeemed christian church of God gave scholarships to over 3200 students last year and also over 900 this year. You can that with the church or News media. The church gave land free to any member that is interested in building a house of their own in the redemption camp and are still doing that till now. all it take is evidence of being a member and evidence of tithes payment irrespective how small it might be. the last is that you have the money to build. you have to build and complete within 1 year. If we as Nigerian will do our job by caring for our immediate family constantly and not be lazy, then we will see a change in Nigeria. After all we all come from a family. A word is enough for the wise. thanks peter Effiong 4 Likes 2 Shares |

The only thing I can say is that the Nigeria military needs to collaborate with the USA, Britain, and Israeli military and intelligence agencies to enable them to acquire enough training, weapons, and advance intelligence knowledge, which is lacking at the moment. There is no shame in this. This country has a lot of money. Use the money to acquire the best military training, intelligence, and weapons that meet the task at hand. The country needs to build a 5,000 elite strike force that is highly trained in land, sea, and hostage rescue operations. We need a deadly force and not the usual army to combat terrorists like boko haram. For the over 23 years I lived in the barrack when my dad was serving in the army, I know we need to do more to put the military in other. The personnel need to to highly motivated and trained in high-tech warfare. The government should work with the Israelis to work with our military for 5 years and build a 5,000-man special army strike force that can withstand modern warfare and BOKO Haram terrorists. a strong airborne battalion is highly needed. Our army need lot of moral boosting, welfare equipment, such as small efficient commercial drones that are less costly to view surrounding and deploy weapon as the Ukrainians are doing without risking the lives of soldiers. The Israeli special forces are called " Sayeret Matkal " they are elite special forces of the Israeli defense force who specialize in small arms, martial arts and gathering intelligence from enemy territory. They are always busy with counter-terrorism assignments and hostage rescue missions. Take for instance a situation the soldier is trained in: 1. Karate/Kongfu advance 2. kick-boxing 3. wrestling 4. high-level body fitness, not a soldier with a pot belly. All these cost a lot of money, and our government must spend it on military and security for us to get the best. Our soldiers should be outstanding. should be able to knock 2-3 people down in an instant with bear hands. that what the Chinese special forces can. It pains me so much that our country is been destroyed by terrorists, and we just can't do anything to end the issue fast enough. Right now, security is paramount, and the government should use our money to provide enough security for the country rather than waste it on government officials and assembling men and women who contribute nothing to the growth of the country except for feeding fat with our country's resources. May God sustain our lives and protect the lives of our military and security personnel working hard to keep the country safe. Peter |
