Please don't be depressed. Allot of if teachers are going through the same.
Infact even as you came here as a new member be sure that there are many teachers on board here going through the same issues.
Also allot of here in financial need.
There are jobs that may not be so dignifying that you can do to earn yourself some money.
Start with lesssons I dont know how your landlord can object if you invite just a few children at a time. Even if it means inviting 5 or 6 children.
You can even go to the childrens homes and give lessons.
Go to the job sectìon and you are looking for a job.
Eevn if it means doing cleaning or washimg cloths it is a solution.

My school haven't been doing home lessons even before the pandemic started. That's why I'm stranded i tried to gather a few kids in my neighborhood for lessons in my house but my landlord is a beast. He didn't approve of it. I want to start a business but no money to start. I can barely feed. I'm tired sis

Most especially ... While you are going through this rough patch in life ...use it as rocket fuel to catapult yourself into a better instance of yourself ... Don't agree to be a class teacher for the rest of your life ... Learn some new skills that is in demand ... ( computer based services ) photo editing ... Video editing ...web design ...videography ...cinematography.. Open a YouTube channel and talk about what you are ionate about .

Go to your church or mosque talk to your pastor about your situation ... If you have any skills that might be of use ... Offer them and employment will follow .. Don't wait for reply here on naitaland because if you don't get what you expect your depression will increase ... It will make you feel transparent . . so leave the comfort zone you have know and are a master at already and explore your universe ... The best life changing miracles happen mostly by accident... Who knows ...


And keep depression out of your mouth and mind ... If you wana know why ... Just take a trip down to the prison yard ... You have freedom ...or down to the asylum ...you are sane abi?
