If the earth is round and rotates then why does a plane need to take off and fly distances before getting to where it's going? It should just stay on a point in the air and wait for the location it's going to, to come meet it then it lands. I wanted to say this too, university exposes to the real world, university students are adults,they are bound to make mistakes and learn (by experience) not someone telling them what to do.

Regarding frameworks, they are built to solve new problems.
Frameworks are built by people (most times sponsored by large companies and group programmers who are Google workers standard).

Most of the tools we use are created by programmers with good knowledge of algorithm and data structure, what we the copy and paste programmers do is to apply the tools.


And we the copy and paste programmers don't solve new problems,we just make few changes to frameworks.


For programmers to solve new problems (most of which are currently solved by Google and Large tech companies) we need to have good knowledge of algorithm and data structures.

I thought so too but my fear is something like spoil the laptop battery itself or explosion/fire.

I have issues with my laptop charger infact I've replaced it once and it spoilt within a day.

I want to change the adapter (like cut the wire and use the cord for a new adapter but I as a science student can see some flaws in what I'm about to do.

The first pics is my current laptop adapter,
The second one is the adapter I plan to replace it with.

PS: I know it's risky that's why I'm asking in a public platform.
Also, I don't know if local radionics/electricians repair stuffs like that I should take it to them.

How do u want them to make money?

The won't give me certificate too.

I use coursera and I enjoy their courses.
Recently a friend sent me a link to get free courses on the app.

It worked well and I was able to the videos (save on the app) and the videos worked well.
Recently the free course expired and I audited some of the courses but in watching the videos(saved), they were not playing well (cracking in local parlance) it will play well at first and later start cracking.

I don't know if I'm the only one that experience this or did they put a bug on purpose to punish people that audit their courses?

Hello guys, I am been thinking hard about problems I could solve that might have a major impact here in 9ja, as many tech companies here are fintech based, so I came of with a concept that merge University education + online learning, I came up with this because of ASUU's problem will never end, the issue has been going on for a long time, even if we resume now they are still going to go on strike later on

Here is the concept

-All istrative tasks will be handle online to minimize cost

- the courses will be pre recorded and updated when needed

- Book will be physical or in PDFs

- it will be ed as a learning institution

- exams will be physical

- there will be real time q & a with course instructors when needed like YouTube live streaming

- Cert will be both physical and digital

Banking industry is changing, with likes of kuda, piggyvest e.t.c why should our education sector be stagnant

It will be like a real University except the heavy lifting will be handled by servers not staffs

After all In my own University, the note of 2008 is not that much different from those of 2020, and everything is exaggerated, more over a student should learn what they want


Courses that requires high end equipment practicals might be suspended for a while

People go to schl to socialize, to Bleep or to get bleeped, online uni might not be suitable for that

Cert are meaningless until they are been acknowledged as good

There will always be a difference between physical and online learning,
Physical learning helps you to meet people, learn from them communicate and socialize (which are very important skills),we can't learn everything online.

So Schools are very important, regarding "BLEEPING", it is part of what you learn in school (to choose whether or not to in the midst of pressure).

Your idea is great but can't be a replacement for school
