DELSU grading system is as follows: (1) O' Level screening: add up your 5 O' level subjects either WAEC or NECO A1 = 12mk, B2 = 10mks, B3 = 8mks, C4 = 6mks, C5 = 4mks and C6 = 2mks. The total from your Waec/Neco multiplied by 0.75. (2) No of result sittings: 1sitting = 5mks and 2sittings = 0mk. (3) Divide your Jamb score by 8. (4) Add up d mks together to get your final score. It is emphasises on..... Waec 45%, jamb 50%, and 1 sitting 5%...

OAU ask student to pay a sum of 6850, no physical appearance, and once u input your jamb data and o'level result, your final score is calculated, the only thing you will wait for after screening is the cut off mark for your course.

For me, is not ideal cos a lot of candidate will be disadvantaged "those that don't have good grades in their O'level result"

For instance:


today i ed for two people

the first gal scored 235 chose medicine buh her o'level, most of her grade is c4, c5 nd c6...........wen she ed her total score was 55.7%

the other guy scored 219 chose maths buh his o'level grade is A1, (2) B3, B2 nd c4.overall was 58.1%

so let say OAU released course cutoff as
Medicine: 60%
Maths: 50%

it certain the first girl is out, not becus she didn't buh her course cutoff drops her


I think post utme is better off than this or what do you think

hope you ain't one of those that advocated for the scrapping in the first place

when you said its not ideal for those with low jamb score..what should happen to those with poor jamb score due to error ....the screening should have been 50/50 to provide equal playground

We Were Granted D Right Of Choosing Two Courses(i.E Ur Desired Course 'nd Any Other..). If O A U Releases Their Cut Off 'nd She Couldn't Meet Up With D 1st Choice Course, She Might Be Lucky With D Second, Provided She Chose A Less Competitive Course As Her 2nd Choice Course.
Ps: Fellow Aspirants Ain't Supposed To Choose Two Competitive Courses. It Might Give Slim Chances Of Gaining ission. But, Who Knows... With A Good/High Score, One Might Wanna Risk It...(GOOD LUCK!). My Opinion, Though.

The issues isn't scanning, the issue is ing of port as it doesn't at all saying that I can't another port because my JAMB port is there already.

if you already have a port after printout..does it matter?since no error msg

Pls bro,I am tnrough with the registration. I want to ask if one can edit his details after printout. I was confused about the course to chose as my second choice (between Ind. Chem and Biochem). I eventually chose Biochem so as not to waste my time during the registration buh right now, It seems I prefer Ind. Chem. Its more related to my first choice (which is Food Tech) than Biochem. My question is can I change the Biochem to Industrial Chem despite the fact that I have printed out my details?

During my registration yesterday, I found out that my port which I used for Jamb reg. Wasn't in red background but I've done the screening reg and also printed out the report.
But is there still need for me to another red background port?

The first course(i.e the one you chose in jamb) is already there. You'd only choose a course as second choice.
