Thanks for pointing that out I realized that there's a mumble up in the questions numbering while trying to post it. There are double number 6. Look closely at it before you criticize. Thanks for your understanding.
Sorry about that but it's not the same in our questions database.
SUMMARY
The text In Dependence tells a love story between TayoAjayi and Vanessa Richardson whereby circumstances and societal factors around them such as racism, cultural differences and political turbulence affected a supposedly genuine love affair. TayoAjayi was a Nigerian man who gets a scholarship to study at Oxford in the 1960s while Vanessa Richardson was the daughter of an ex-colonial officer. The story of their love spansfrom 1963 to 1999. The novel in connection with its title In Dependence uncovers the story of Nigeria’s political atmosphere from Independence to the Fourth Republic. It presents the changes that occurred in the country’s post-independence era –the first coup, the Civil war, the numerous countercoups, military dictatorships, the brief return to civilian rule, exile of Nigerian intellectuals, and the eventual return to democracy towards the end of the novel. Manyika revels in her ability to expose certain issues prevalent in the society such as race or racism, stereotype and cultural differences. She manages to show how these factors affect her characters.
Tayo is an intelligent young man who later becomes a Professor of History. Tayo is the protagonist of this story. Tayo’s weakness as a hero is presented by his inability to manage relationships with the female gender in his life. He concentrated mainly in his work and office duties than his loved ones. That seemed like a pattern in his life which led to the painful death of Christine – his Nigerian girlfriend in College, the break up with Vanessa, the death of his mother, the altercation with Hawa, the divorce with his wife and lose of Kemi’s love and respect. It seemed like it was a fate Tayo couldn’t run away from because each time he tried to make the right decision he ended up hurting the people he thought he was protecting.

Sorry I had to cut in. @bold; Isn't that a question of choice? Besides, You didn't ask him for any proof.
didn't ask him for any proof because I know there's nothing to prove. if he indeed scored that high, then wish him well, to even score higher in the main exam.
Nuel25846:
why are u so jealous?? .....see the wicked name u called him self
Jealous? nah. I'm not a jambite so why should I? I think the lies I read on NL these days is appalling. Assuming he scored what he claimed. why didn't he add a screenshot to d post? at least, to the veracity of d claim
I wonder, let's wait and see of he will give any meaningful reason for not relocating to Zimbabwe up til now
What I don't understand is. I live in a Zoo(shithole) and was opportune to visit a Paradise on earth, or better still, somewhere that's far better than the zoo. isn't that a blessing? I will I go back to the zoo? wouldn't I just look for a place for myself and family to live a better life? those ear some of the questions bothering me
There are several small towns in this country with superb electricity supply, take eruwa for instance, they can go for a month at a stretch without power outage. You have not been everywhere in this country so you should not write like you know everything.
Even a small town in Delta state (Ekakpamre) has 24hrs electricity... before now, I used to think the whole of Ghana has 24hrs electricity, till I visited core villages, to confirm some of the things we read on the internet are based on prejudice!
I have never read a more useless post, is your name Judas Iscariot?
And he's a citizen of Nigeria I suppose. The question is, why not stay in Zimbabwe since it's heaven on earth, why come back to the zoo and rant like he was forced to stay in it?
olajizz01:
Just ignore these people, they were still pained that their hero lost an election, just look at their handle,u will know what am talking about, had it been their hero is still in power looting the state treasury,u will never hear them they singing this kind of song.
Was beginning to think if they were Nigerians.. so much hate from them. I'm not happy the way the country is, but yet, can't berate it like the way that "Gej" guy did. I weep for the future of this country honestly

Young man if u read my previous post u wld have known that it was a typo error. But I used dumb cos thats what u are. I decided to reply u cos my first quote wasn't an insult on ur person but u called me "mumu" and I wondered why u would do so. That's why I replied u in like . As per education,I will leave that to ppl who will look at all our posts and decide who is more educated. Where did u even school in the first place? I am a product of two great schools(BSU&ABU plus ICAN) So when it comes to education,I am well schooled and that's why I am schooling u now to knw how to make basis for comparison. You can't compare 365days to 45minutes,its absurd and shows ur mental ability. Pls,rep ur school well,no fall ppl hand. "an Abusite is naturally ahead of u" U can rest ur empty skull for the nyt.
