emmyN:And assuming this is an 'attack', what made it criminal to warrant what she has been subjected to by Erisco? My point is, how the company responded to this is so wrong in many fronts. Innoson had a recent similar attack by one guy on twitter, how all the IVM vehicles his father bought have all packed up. IVM only had to reach out to the guy to come substantiate his claims and guess what, he backtracked and deleted all tweets and claimed he was hacked. There was no need to arrest and harrass the guy with security agents. Sometime ago, can't which year was that, indomie had similar attack launched, claiming then that a young guy died immediately after consuming their noodles. They followed it up immediately, even asked the family to please conduct autopsy on the guy, started doing public shows of cooking and consuming indomie noodled, today they are still standing strong with their brand. No be everything be giri die. Unfortunately, Mr Erisco lacks tact and seems to either surround himself with only praise singers or just the usual stubborn head traders that won't heed to advise |

Pepperdemisback:There is nothing, absolutely nothing criminal in anything she said. Even if she said she saw someone die from consuming the product, the worst you can do is to raise a civil case against her and not criminalise the lady as if she's a terrorist. And I maintain, most of our indigenous companies can't even survive criticism., instead of rolling out intense PR that will not only disprove what the lady alleged but also win more customers over for them, they choose to intimidate her with Nigerian police that can commit murder for the right price. I will like to see how their sales has fared ever since they started this battle with the lady 1 Like |

Nigeria, everything about the country is designed to oppress those in the lower rungs of the societal ladder. Someone gave a review of your product that you don't like and the next thing is to use security agencies to harass and detain them

Its a spike lightening arrestor. Placed on top of tall buildings to provide a safety buffer against lightning strikes. A connection runs from the spike to ground, where the charges are earthened. If you've seen the devastating effects of lightning, you'll better appreciate its functions on buildings. 2Radii:Please this has nothing to do with any religion or belief, its purely a HSE feature 2 Likes |

Instead of taking to social media, can't she report to the authorities? This is child abuse and shouldn't be treated lightly. I can bet that if CCTV is operational in that school, the level of abuse children suffer from the so called minder will be alarming. People who ordinarily should have no business being near kids, pouring their individual frustrations and bitterness on poor innocent souls

A country where lawlessness is hailed and celebrated. They have reduced the office of FCT minister to land grabbing and allocation and used to settle personal scores by land revocation

Usmanovic95:Goodluck waking someone who's pretending to be deep asleep. You think in their privacy they all don't know the reality of the matter? They are ALL criminal minded, just like the career criminal they solidly defend. Imagine the dense OP shouting offsite up and down. CBN mints the naira offsite, let him go and meet the 3rd party company minting naira for CBN let them mint him some amount of money and if he gets arrested for spending counterfeit currency, let him say he got it from CBN. Or in one of their spokesperson's voice, he decided to redesign the naira to his taste. Deluded dunces |

The same ugly attitude that kept the country in its present state. There are official channels for reaching the bank in case of such eventualities but no, why do so when I know someone at the top. Better go and leave with the consequences of your decision

That's the thing with lies, it doesn't ever align. The lies he spewed in the statement and the ones contained in the petition are fighting themselves. And most importantly, does not even agree with the video we saw and what he said in the video. One thing I know for sure, karma does not forget. You can do this and get away with it because it is Nigeria, but karma does not need Nigerian laws to fight back and you and your cohorts will surely get it at the right time

Better start preparing a room for him cos if there's one thing that is certain with western nations, so long as you're not their citizen, once you've been convicted for a crime, na straight deportation for you after doing the time. Even Switzerland deport people born by foreigners in their country to their parents' country of origin after they are done doing their time

Governor Soludo does not owe inconsistent characters and backstabbers any explanation. Ndi Anambra has absolute trust and confidence in Governor Soludo and they will not allow inconsistent characters to deceive them. This statement right here is why we create monsters out of politicians. He owes a duty of explanation to ALL his electorates. When he pledged to govern, he didn't swear to govern only the reasonable Anambrarians. Leadership and ability are both sides of the same coin. People like this Obigwe are the ones that turn these guys to unable tin gods that feels the governed are mere subjects/slaves unworthy of their interaction |

onegig: Don't you think you sound unintelligent with all you wrote above? According to you, elected officials receive bribe to allow illegal developments but somehow they should not be faulted? Year in year out the area keeps flooding and not one official deems it fit to go carry out enforcement in the area if they are blocking drain route? If the area was a drain channel, who gave approval for the estate to be developed there? Nigeria has so messed up her people that very few even understands the responsibilities of government and sadly you are not amongst that few. The government through actions and her inactions has so devalued the dignity of her citizens and the human life no longer holds any sanctity. Talking about how government will use "scarce" resources in helping her citizens, in a country that her politicians rape and plunder her resources without any consequences. |

Nigeria is just an unreal place. Year in, year out, this same estate and same story of flood, destructionof propertiesand loss of lives. The estate flood, people die, makes headlines for a day or two, flood recedes, people count their losses and move on. Wait for next year, rinse and repeat. You would begin to imagine when exactly will people start demanding real actions and for elected officials to live up to their responsibilities.

Procashtips:Not joking. Lionesses are the hunters. If nairaland were a flexible site, would have shared few clips of lionesses dealing with lions. Same thing that was portrayed in lion king movie, the lionesses are the main warriors of the pride. They are the ones that teach the young ones how to hunt. Lions usually don't in hunting but will be the first to come chase off everyone to feed 9 Likes |

Once you enter here with this kind of mentality, the law will definitely catch yp with you. His mission obviously is to look for who he will rush into a relationship with to marry and collect permanent stay. Little men who always allow their d1ck think for them. Now your name will land in sex offenders and helping to further batter the country's already bad image. Infact this guy deserves the highest form of punishment ever, like I'm even more fired up here. Imagine all the nonsense a supposed post graduate student was sending to a child? I'm a parent and God knows I would have given him a punch in the mouth if I was there. Tomorrow he will blame village people while common self discipline would have kept him away from all this. Very foolish animal in human form
