Hello friend,
I was in this shoe in last Jan ission, as I got my application on complex note alike., Having introduced some unnecessary ingredients in my applications. Extremely laborious too. Those were the exact questions they asked me too then.

I don't think it's everyone that gets that BRP mail before they take back their port.

ZabethMay:

Woah. I’ve received an email my port has been sent to the DHL but I didn’t get the BRP one.

Using the above picture.

If you were invited for a second interview, be glad, stay positive and look on the brighter side, see it as a second chance.
You were lucky to not be outrightly denied, the ECO is giving a second chance to prove to them you are genuine.

Amend your date and request for a new CAS.

Youngee34:
Hello good evening,
Please I have an urgent matter.

My visa is tomorrow 10am, and while doing my final round of checks on my documents, I discovered on my CAS statement that it was my previous port number that was issued with it.
I don't even understand how it happened or how I didn't notice it all this while.

Please who knows what I can do as of now?

My interview is 10am tomorrow.
Any suggestions please?

A residential internship certificate. My degree has a date on it one year earlier than I left the country. Though my transcript captured the one year internship.

I was thinking if I should the internship certificate or should I leave it since I'm ing the transcript.

Also are their penalties for ing documents not needed or stated in the CAS?

mattfeuter:

Like what kind of document ?
Docuzor(m): 9:17pm On Aug 25, 2020
Is it wrong to a school document not listed on your CAS but in a way will help your visa application?
Docuzor(m): 1:17pm On Aug 25, 2020
Okay. Thank you.

mattfeuter:

Yes.

Some countries don’t even stamp your port when you’re exiting.
Docuzor(m): 12:52pm On Aug 25, 2020
And you were given the visa?

mattfeuter:

No need. Just scan and submit it as it is.

Same thing has happened to me previously.

@mimilyrics, @duchess90 @theguyfromhr and others.

I have a little challenge.

So I did my bachelor's in a different country. When filling my visa form, I imputed my departure date from the country as the 19th of a a particular month.

But my stamped carries 20th of same month. What happened was the flight was meant to be 19th, but due to delays and immigration procedures, we had entered a new day which was 20th when my port was stamped.

So do I write a cover letter to explain this and also.

Or is it something that's negligible.

Please answer urgently

Nigerians will be asked to submit documents A B and D.

Nigerians will begin to wonder this one that document C was skipped.
Is it not mistake on their part?
Should I just look for document C and add?

But those that asked for A, B and D know what they are doing.

Don't over do things.

Focus on only what was asked, if there is need for more documents they will demand.

If it's not broken, don't fix it.

Sommylove5:

Please i need clarification on something. I got an accomodation with UK legal estate , I made a holding deposit for them to hold the property for me while they carry out their vetting process . I informed him ing that address for my Visa application which he said I provided all he need. Now I have used the address as my UK address in my Visa application and he is yet to get back to me. He is yet to issue any receipt to me either nor tenancy agreement or inform me the outcome of the vetting process . Please what will I do ? Must I proof of the address i wrote in my application? Am confused. My interview is next week and up till now the agent is yet to me or pick my call

UK isn't US in visa acceptance.
They shouldn't begin now.

Those that did interview ending July and first week of August.
Is their no response yet?

At least you guys should share good news here to encourage others.

The only interview we have gotten in this group has been bad news.

Good news will go a long way in cheering people up and giving them extra motivation.

Yeah, I did.

covidia:

Did you have to pay the full price again?
Docuzor(m): 7:10pm On Aug 13, 2020
Well, this happened to me this morning, I actually lost my old date, like in my dashboard what was written was no date selected.
I had to book the new date afresh

If it's a glitch or a new method, I don't know. I'm just saying what happened to me.

So yeah, I lost my old date before I could book a new one.

TheGuyFromHR:

Saying this means that there is a way by which you can end up without a date if there is a gap between giving up the old while in the process of securing the new one. I dont think that's how the process operates.

Unless the recent glitch with the TLS site messed up the amendment process, I can state that as at when I booked appointments last week I changed dates about three times (twice for my children and once for myself) and each time the process of switching between dates worked seamlessly and I never ended up without an appointment.

I don't think this is entirely true. It happened to me today. They remove the already secured date before I could even pay for the new one.

And yes, I had to pay again.

TheGuyFromHR:

Just go to your TLS , click on "Amend" and follow the prompts.
Your previous date is only changed when you have actually booked a replacement date, and not before.
Any time you go to check for a date and you don't see any, just close the window or click on "Return to Applicant Portal" when you're done; your original date stays safe.

Docuzor post=92766763]Good morning.

So I had an earlier date for 1st Sept that's an assisted service which I already paid for.

So I came online and saw a free date for August 26th same assisted service, I clicked on it and was directed to a payment site.

Do I still need to pay again for this new date despite having paid for the 1st sept.

Yeah, I eventually had to pay another one.

TheGuyFromHR:

If it directs you to a payment service then it seems you have to pay for it to secure it.

Is their anyone that has attempted to do walk in in Abuja?

Did it work?
Docuzor(m): 2:22pm On Aug 11, 2020
Yeah. Took them 8 days.

Calm054:
Any University of Chester prospective student gotten CAS yet? How long did it take?
Docuzor(m): 10:31am On Aug 07, 2020
I mean how did you do it, the process of amending. Did you lose your old date first or you chose a new one before the old one disappeared.

I don't want to start amending and then lose the old date while not getting a better date and then end up getting a worse date than the first one.

olaypappy:

It's possible to amend the date...I initially got a date of 27th Aug however I amended it to 6th Aug which was yesterday.

I guess the walk in thing is also possible as someone stated here that they used it...Cant who though. Cheers
Docuzor(m): 9:58am On Aug 07, 2020
So I have been able to get a date for Sept 1st.

But I'm hoping to Amend. How does that work?
Would I lose the sept 1st date before I can see a new date?

Also I plan to do a walk in by next week, it's like a plan B if I don't get a new date closer to mid August.

Any advice or suggestion please.
