Lazy governors they will always have an excuse, that should find a way of ameliorating the problem
To me, the governors are not the lazy ones but the civil servants who are the acclaimed professionals and technocrats that failed to advice the governors appropriately and putting effort to make sure government programmes works.
Have anyone been close to a top civil servant... you will agree with me that that they don't take their job serious with attitudes like - I no go die for Nigeria, incessant absence from work, eye service and lots more.
The governors just political leaders though I'm not shielding them from blames either.
The civil servants have to brace up to the fact that hard times awaits them. They have been enjoying all through and AIDING CORRUPTION.
We heard Fashola with his lame defence that he does not sign checks.

Rochas Okorocha have seen the hand writing on the wall that the struggle to actualize a sovereign state of Biafra will be successful hence he is finding a medium for Biafra to consider him as though he Is with them.
Rochas should what happened when he contested the presidential primary in 2003 when him and some other candidates staged a walk out after addressing the delegates at the podium realising that the process have been planned in favour of a northern candidate (Buhari). Rochas is loved by the 'average north' but they can't vote him against any northern candidate.
Its not too late if he wakes now. He is still a brother.

I want us to understand that though we are carved into minority states we are not minorities. We are part and parcel of a greater whole which is the IGBO NATION. We wont settle for less in the name of minority because in the event of crisis no body will call us minority, we will always be dealt as igbos not as ndokis, ikwerres, egbemas, ogbas or ndonis. We can not run away from our shadow neither can we do so to our identity.
When ijaws was protesting against the long rule of igbos in our dear state(rivers), they did not see it as ikwerre rule or ndoni rule but saw it as an igbo rule. During the event of PH ownership crisis the ijaws claimed that ikwerres are igbos and that they should go back to the uplands because they(okrika/ijaw) are the owners of the land ant that ikwerres are migrants from upland.
Though i am a not strong believer in the biafran project i do understand that our destinies are lumped together with our upland brothers and even if we have grieviances due to the Civil war we should learn how to resolve our problems internally. IGBOS MUST LEARN HOW TO STOP WASHING HER DIRTY LINENS OUTSIDE FOR THE AMUSEMENT OF OUR FOES.
The purpose of this thread is to raise a resistance against the emotional and psychological war being waged against us by some opportunist. Some elements in this forum opened their cavity and said that igbos are inconsequential and has no bargaining power in the nigerian politics.
In reference to this i want to categorically state that IGBOS ARE THE LARGEST PRODUCERS OF NIGERIAN CRUDE OIL AND GAS. This is contrary to the view held by many that thinks ijaws holds the statues quo. This can be seen when all the igbo oil wells in abia, imo.anambra, delta and rivers state is sumed up and This is not exclusive to the oil alone igbos are also the largest ethnic group in south south and in the niger delta. This is because when all the igbos in rivers, delta and edo state is added we constitute the largest group in ss and ND.
When was divided into east and west , it was the responsibility of germans to unite and shake of the division created by their foes, therefore, it is our responsibility to unite in such times like this.
The south south is a blessing in disguise for we the igbos because we will continue to dominate and constitute the majority in the region
igbo bu ofu
igbo amaka
igbos has the best human ans natural resource in nigeria
igbo bu igbo ana m ekele o
i rep oyigbo(rivers){parternal} and egbema(imo){maternal}
NB if you are not igbo pls keep off
oya my brothers come in and throw your comments
upland igbos you are allowed to contribute

@op
you said the sw region is well developed? Apart from Lagos which other states in that region can survive without fed allocation?
As for Lagos, its development is as a result of revenues within the state. And don't think Lagos made itself.
The fed govt cited virtually all economic and political institutions that made the state attract immigrants from all other parts of Nigeria hence its population and market. Mind u even all d states in the sw regions have its indigenes migrate massively to Lagos. Has the fed govt given any Eastern state such opportunity... why comparing their performance to that of Lagos? How much is left with a governor in the east after its recurrent expenditures?
You think if the fed govt sited these in Ondo or Rivers and spend heavy on it who will be migrating to Lagos.
Have you noticed the influx of ppl into Abuja? If yes then you understand me.
YOU said Igbo should show love to others. if u live I Lagos and doing business there and you are not Yoruba you will definitely pay more than your Yoruba neighbors to the council authorities and agberos. what kind of love do u want an IBO to show. Is it not enough by their investment and trades, real estates and accommodation and jobs they provide? Both in the North too.
Yoruba's e-propaganda to make SS see their SE brothers as wanting to lord over them can't hold waters.
mind you se or ss is artificial. calabar and Akwa Ibom is core east geographical. We know Eastern Nigerian, the Midwest was divided and the east and west got their Delta and Edo respectively.
U.S did to because they pose threat to them even with Russia (USSR) But Germans reunited. The average Nigerian in the sw or the north knew the strength of the se and SS together.

STEP 3
Reject all the ministerial nomination from the so called Nigeria.
STEP 4
Endeavour to reject Federal Allocation. u re very industrious people so u will be better off without it
STEP 5
Stop all form of importation through the Nigerian sea port so that Nigeria will crumble without ur Tax
STEP 6
Recall all your sons and daughters from all parts of Nigeria to relocate to home untill this fight is over then Nigeria can beg them to come back as expatriates
STEP 7
Lock up all ur shops in idumota, Alaba international, Kano main market, and every other market even in the remote villages accross the country.
STEP 8
Go beyond closing of the Niger bridge. Stop all Nigerians from buying or selling in Onitsha Main market or Ariaria market in Aba.
STEP 9
Make sure u make ur Visa very hard for Nigerians.
This fight can be achieved without violence just like south Sudan. Make sure u dont fight it with weapons.
Igbo kwenu!!! hee! .
STEP 10
Stop Nigerian govt from taking resources from Cross River, Enugu, Bayelsa, Anambra, Delta, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Imo, Rivers and Ebonyi states.

DONSMITH123:
The Lagos State Police Command on Monday urged residents of the state not to report traffic robbery and other crimes first on social media but to the nearest police station.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Joseph Offor, who made the appeal on Monday, said the reports would help the police in strategising on how to combat crimes and forestall occurrence.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Commissioner of Police, Mr Fatai Owoseni, had lamented that Nigerians were fund of reporting crimes first on the social media.
He noted that reporting first to the nearest police station would help the police to prevent further occurrence.
He also spoke about how some distress calls were actually blown out of proportion and advised the residents to always their information before causing panic.
The PPRO added that making false reports of crime incidents on social media was a cheap blackmail against the leadership of the Nigeria Police.
“People should endeavour to report every road traffic robbery to the police station so that we will know who to hold responsible.
“This will help us to strategise and come against those people behind the crimes.
“We are not denying the fact that we have a couple of traffic robberies here and there but we have arrested some of the suspects.
“We have also prevented some of them that were about to be committed.
“When somebody is a victim of a crime, he knows where to go,’’ Offor told NAN.
“If you go to a police station to report, it will help us to have the statistics of crime being committed in that area; it will also help us in our planning.
“It will help us in our research but when people decide to report their cases to the social media, we see it as a cheap blackmail against the leadership of the Nigeria Police.
“And this is worrisome because it is not helping our statistics.’’
According to Offor, people making crime reports on the social media are not helping the system as planning and strategising cannot be based solely on statistics got from such reports.

The President Muhammadu Buhari-led government has approved the construction of the $2.4 billion Lagos red line rail project.
According to Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Dayo Mobereola, approving the right of way for the project had been a problem for donkey’s years as the Federal Government in the previous istration was reluctant to do so.
Bear in mind, the right of way belonged to the Nigeria Railway Corporation, NRC.
“It took us four and half years to get approval for the project. It took us another four years to get them to discuss the technicality of the project with us. The right-of-way has been approved and we are in full discussion with the bidders,” he said.
Speaking on the Blue Line Light Rail project, the commissioner said the government would complete it by the end of next year.
“We are mindful of the problem of transportation in Lagos State. Towards the end of next year, something will happen. Our rail project is 27 km and we are doing it in phases. We are doing Mile 2 to CMS now and we will do Mile 2 to Okokomaiko later,” he said.

Why should the meeting be held at the instance of Rochas Okorocha who after defecting to APC did not care about the south east govs forum and the se/ss govs forums held mostly in Enugu.
They should not even attend because Okorocha does not represent the interest of majority of the ibos.
