Good evening people and fellow comrades in this frustrating hustle for higher education. Well, I got itted into university of ilorin on the 3rd of november,2009, convocated 4 years later and two years after graduation, i am having a hard time getting my siblings itted. things have become extremely more difficult over the years and its really frustrating. The long and short of my story is, information about this 2nd batch is scanty. i need help!!!

Ohhhhhhh, hmmmmmm... Congratulations!!! It's been a long wait.

It took ui pg school 8 months to process our ission. I hope it wouldn't be so when it's time to get the certificate on graduation. My undergraduate certificate at Unilorin was collected on convocation day and that was like three months after project defense. Ui, I hope you wouldn't make us wait longer than necessary.

Boss, I can feel your curiosity. There is absolutely nothing to worry about. 1. Dr Adie is a good man( you are asking about him because u saw him in ur letter as your supervision, he might not eventually be the one to supervise you!!). Chem dept don't normally follow the supervisor given to u in ur leta as project supervisor list would be pasted in due time. As rgrds hostel, am not living in hostel but what I know is that A.A hall must be filled up b4 allocating Tafawa Balawe all to new students (the halls are good). Other questions cannot be answered now until when am done with my exams. Bye till then.

I've a couple of questions for you and I do hope you'd answer promptly. 1) What do you know about Dr Adie? 2) How is it like to be enrolled in ui MSc chemistry? 3) You stay in A. A. hall, which is better between A. A. And tafawa Balewa? 4) You've been a pg student in ui for a year now, rate the service in comparison to your expectations. Are you satisfied or disappointed? Any unique challenges? Please don't be angry with my inquisitiveness. Just have a lot of unanswered questions.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's been a while. Hope you are good . Looks like everyone's got the offer of ission already. Concerning late schedule for clearance, I believe you guys should just chill and wait. Do your part by paying the acceptance fee and getting all the necessary documents ready. Unlike when I was cleared, the pg school is really busy now so it's more about being patient. Besides, school ain't resuming till April. I've a challenge sha. It's about the steps or procedures for fresh student accommodation on campus. I have always wanted to ask before now. I need relevant information..

FAAN? if it works fine. Hmmmmmm... Nigerian government agencies are the worst in Nigeria. Simple recruitment is what an organization like faan cannot handle well. Just like the immigration scam. It's a pity we live in this self created guerilla society. You be like if the federal government isn't getting it right, what's up?

It's called the waiting period. We'll have to wait till the new session commences before we can start registration.

The pg school did not say anything about of documents in the mails they sent but they provided a platform for the . I Did my documents knowing fully well that it can only turn out to be an advantage and not otherwise. Besides, ask those that have gone for clearance, they'd tell you that what they requested for at the pg school was more than what you have in the mail. I was one of the first sets to be cleared and it was while there that we realized that the information technology department of the school didn't consult well with the screening officers before sending the mails. They told us that the procedure is not in any way different from what they did last year. For your information, documents was a part of the procedures then. If you ask me, I'd say to feel secured.

How long did it take for the PG school to send you a confirmation mail after the initial recommendation mail. I will prefer your answer to be in DAYS. How many days did you wait for a confirmation mail after your received the recommendation mail. Please I need an answer.

Five days. Got the recommendation mail on Wednesday 28th January and offer of provisional ission on Monday, 2nd February. It's important that you consider the fact that pg school was less busy then as only chemistry and religious studies department were the only departments they were working on. Right now, they have much more to do and it's Still the same staff strength. So, it'd take more time.

Pg school session begins two weeks after the undergraduate resumption which is 21st March. This is according to the school calendar as published in the school bulletin.

Don't worry. I got mine earlier than most people in chemistry but the good news was that they later got theirs. So, I'm optimistic. Keep the faith.

H e re in Lagos, they told us to pay for the 1st semester & come with all the tellers and print out. They said ission wont be processed without the payment..The tablet scam was never mentioned.
I paid the 1st semester & tried to proceed with the registration only for me to log on now and saw the computer tablet fee. The DG ne [sup][/sup] eds to be questioned and we can't just fold our arms while they use us to get richer.

Its insane for them to make such imposition..hiding under the guise of making teachers' IT savvy.

Now, to my real question. I believe the Procedure should be:
1. Recommendation Mail from PG School UI
2. Then, Print out of Acceptance Invoice
3. Pay the N20,200 acceptance fee at the recommended bank
4. Return to UI Portal to required documents
5. Receive a mail from PG School for your scheduled clearance
6. Present your self at the Clearance venue with your [b][/b]Degree Certificate or Attestation Letter, NYSC Certificate and O'level Certificate.
7. Registration will now involve the payment of Tuition and other fees.

Please can someone scrutinize this PROCESS and tell me where I am wrong. Thanks

Yes that's true. Not immediately though. It was like after three days. The basic documents are nysc certificate, degree certificate, and o level. If you have got professional certification too, fine.
