Dedetwo:dude, the question on your mind should be, when will Nigeria learn to diversify and take an active interest in science, research and industry? You are asking the wrong type of question. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Best news that can ever happen to Nigeria. I wish more countries will follow suit and ban petrol usage. I bet it will serve as the long awaited wake up call. Less money to steal 2 Likes |

Golan007:pls send me a comprehensive list, also to include the religious configuration of the appointment list. The diversity of Nigeria is religious as well as geographical(or tribal). I promise to rest my case afterwards.... thanks |

Angelfrost:especially the East you say? Is there a particularly poor governance in the east different from the poor governance in the north? Or are you indirectly saying that the north even against all empirical evidence is better governed or possess better leadership? |

Golan007:before you gloat and celebrate think about it, if these positions were completely reversed to favour another part of the country will you still consider it fair? If the fact you are a Northerner(and possibly Muslim) and this does worry you have you ever thought about the fact that the opposite could be the case. Fairness is the demand here, we cannot run a country as diverse as Nigeria like this. The appointments are too lopsided. When Obasanjo, Yar Adua and Jonathan were in power they applied more wisdom in their political appointments. I REST MY CASE 1 Like |

Lai Mohammed should simply sit this one out. His role in this should be mostly to advise and to douse tension. His vehement denials only makes him an accessory to murder. His methods constitute a decent majority of the problem. I don't know whether he is not aware of the image problem he has with the public. His tactics are not good at all because he tries to continually force his angle of things on everyone. We know that it is his job to react to issues surrounding this government, and we also know that it is a thankless job, but he should be more diplomatic. People might not like you but they will learn to respect you. Right now, due to his tendencies, he lacks both love and respect. Sad ![]() ![]() 7 Likes |

Neddstark:that is how people say that if we are not satisfied with the way the country is run we should leave. The country as well as Nairaland belong to Nigerians one way or the other. We need a country where we can express ourselves without unnecessary hindrances. I was never rude or ridiculous, I simply made use of the word 'protest' to express my dissatisfaction about the way things are going on in the country. You quoting me shows you have dictatorial tendencies. Today the country is in rubbles economically and our dear government is more interested in seeking out EndSars protesters and ing hate speech bill. Trump lost elections and his ers still came out to protest. Trump makes a lot of controversial statements and yet nobody is talking about hate speech bill or social media control bill, is America and Nigeria not both democratic countries? I REST MY CASE!! |

Nairaland is a big DISGRACE, the other day I posted a comment with the word PROTEST and got banned by the s. It seems the fear of censoring has already infiltrated the minds and entire bodies of Nairaland s and their actions has become that of cowards. As for me I will continue to resist cowardice in all its ramifications. How can the country become better if we don't stand up to speak and resist evil. How can ability be achieved without dissenting opinions and refined criticisms. Nairaland s you are all living in fools paradise, by the time that useless hate speech bill is ed then you will know the effects and importance of media freedom. Shame on Nairaland s for playing Buhari's game and that of his stooges. SHAME! SHAME!! SHAME!!! Protest is not a crime, it happens everywhere in the WORLD 79 Likes 5 Shares |
