What an insult..?
Babaginda respected Ojukwu and feared him even in dead...
But send some young oficers to fetch daddy Awo... The ogboni high chief..
Infact gave him condition to live...
The mumu chief a coward representative
A Yoruba demon... Chief .. mastermind of genocide couldn't take what he gives freely while clamming sophistication took posion and dine with rats
Now a Yoruba chief is in animal paradise..
Rats paradise to be precise..
And yet some of his protege will compare him to a soldier who saw war..fought war..led troops to front...kill enemies on front and returned a hero... betrayed, came back to a hero's welcome ..contested in the enemies territory..while the smile sheepishly...
Meanwhile the ogboni chief was busy chasing dreams he never got in his live time...
Ojukwu was once a president..head of state of the only and strongest country on the African soil..
Why the great Awo died a wannabe
Wdf..
If any afonja can do this.?me go worship that afons with ma family...
what is this one trying to say?

the easiest way to conquer a people is to learn and master their language fulanis successfully did it against the hausas igbos have been employing this same tactic for ages for commercial conquest
the best way to colonise a group of people is to make them forget their homeland, speak foreign language and practice foreign culture at the detriment of theirs.
More than half of the population of your people living in SW have been yorubanised,Many of you can even speak yoruba language better than the igbo language.
But don't get it twisted, no matter how long you've stayed in SW you'll always be seen and be treated as nonindegenes.
You and i know that nonindegenes don't enjoy equal right with indegenes all over the world. Can you now see that you are not conquering yoruba but your are being enslaved indirectly in SW

The fact that you are concerned shows your great mind and has not been wasted like most Yoruba youths. I really hope it's not too late to start doing the right thing. Friend, this journey starts with you and me. We only have about 5% wise people in the SW the rest are fools. We have a serious job to do. Let's start a movement to preserve our land and culture. Our forefathers left us foundation we have not built on. The colonialists described our land as the most affluent in Nigeria by saying "Yoruba land, the richest and where the money is" when compared with other region s of Nigeria. Yoruba built Nigeria because our wealth developed the oil in Niger delta and the rest of Nigeria. We also had the most developed region during the time we had regionalism, so we have what it takes to do it again. Nigeria has really been a drag on Yoruba as a people, so let's start setting boundaries. We have put up with a lot and literally being walked on, time to turn the clocks back.
A wise man like you has said:, if you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.
The above is exactly what i'm doing at the moment.
The nature of my work and everyday church programmes are hindering me from commiting much of my time to the cause as i would have loved to, but believe me i'm not folding my hands at all.
I've already spoken with some omo onile's, elders, friends and family .
Some discouraged me, others encouraged me.
Those with different opinions gave me many reasons not to be afraid. But on the other hand, few among them agreed with me. Elomiran ninu won gan ti wa gbee sori ju emi gan lo bayi, and i'm praying that they'll never relent.
What is now giving me joy most is the positive attitude and response i got from some grass root politicians i discussed with in my area last week, they were verry happy with me for showing them some threads on this forum and for bringing the issue to their knowledge. They all responded well and even promised to take the discussion to the local govt chairman and even further. This cause is not about hatred for other Nigeria tribes, but verry necessary to protect the future of yoruba people in SW, especially Lagos, and to let other tribes know who's really in charge. May God let things work out as planned.

This thread is about yoruba but See many Osu comments above, weeping profusely even when the thread has nothing to do with their cursed erosion ravaged 5 villages and backward region.
I understand their problem though, the last time their governors held a meeting with their youths, the agenda was all about how to sacrifice kanu and his miscreants for this country, and they've achieved that.
But we are discussing the progress of our region and people.
God has blessed the SW, nothing haters and osu cannibal can do about it.

@ Diiet
Few yrs from now this group will start having a strong backing and Yoruba won't be able to do much. What we need to do now is to find out how they ed this organization since Yoruba are the only indigenous people in SW, let's take it from there. Also, we need to make them untouchable for our politicians by declaring any politician that goes near them, meet them or receive any gift from them a traitor and enemy of Yoruba and too tainted to run for political office in SW. This can be nipped in the bud right now before it grows into a group we have to pacify and yield to till we give out the best of our land. This is not something we can sleep on, we need to move fast! Yoruba need to be patriotic to the land and stifle anything that's trying to be a drag to our way of life.
This is going on in our region and yet some of our people are still believing there is no fire on the mountain.
I just pray what i'm currently doing spread fast and yield quick results.
One Nigeria does not mean we shouldn't defend our territory and the future of our unborn generation.
God bless you for calling my attention to this thread.

Please take that with a pinch of salt and continue with your plans. This is one of the excuses that made us to lose 2 or 3 seats in federal house of rep. Lagos in areas we have obas and baale. The seats we may never get back and who knows how many more will be lost in 2019?
There is nothing wrong if we demand for respect in our home and make ibos mind their business. Do you really believe that ibos pay taxes in Lagos? How much taxes do a people known to cheat others could possibly pay if any? It's been said many times that ibos don't pay taxes but use govt hospitals more than even the Yoruba who own the land. So ibos are freeloaders in our region, they contribute nothing and take a lot from our system. They mostly sleep in their shops and defecate in gutters, destroying everything in their path.
I see wisdom all over your post.
The future of Yoruba and ibo in Lagos has been a topic running through my mind for a long time. I've also been thinking about where to start from, and i think God has given me the ideas of how to kickstart my campaign.
The ignorant of our people is just too much and this is the ladder, ibo people are climbing to get whatever they want in our region. This same ignorant is the reason some posters of yoruba extraction are attacking you for being a realist in this thread. But ko posible ki gbogbo wa sun, ka ko ori si ibikan.

No need to worry because they pose little or no threat all even with their annoyance and lousy ways, they are nothing but economic migrants just like they have in other societies, ibos are just naturally annoying and noisy with their crude and crass ways.
There millions of folks from other parts of Nigeria that we don't hear from, they go about their business without bothering other people and their hosts unlike ibo people.
The problem with ibo people is strictly ibo problem and we should not make their problem ours, they have low self esteem issues, emotional problems, poor sense of self worth and belonging. They even do the same thing and constitute nuisance in foreign countries.
We really shouldn't worry about ibo people and their annoyance because at the end of the day we know their last names and they know theirs too and they also know they are second class citizens and they are forming these silly, irrelevant groups and associations because they know they are second class citizens. I appreciate the fact that they are paying taxes and even huge property taxes we need to build and develop with, this is the money they are denying their own towns and villages hence the lack of jobs and infrastructures in their towns and villages so they are free to beat their chest all they want, but we know we are benefiting and they are denying their own people and villages back home the needed IGR and prosperity.
Millions of foreigners work own houses in America, but they are not deluded enough to think they own America or America own them something, ibo people are just delusional and culturally misguided, it's a degenerative communal trait.
OK Thanks.

To all the Yoruba frothing in the mouth here, hide your faces in shame. Aren't you ashamed of saying the same thing over and over again? There's no slightest push back from you, all we hear is noise. I even saw a comment from a so-called Yoruba that leasing out land for few years in Yoruba land is "unconstitutional" ha! What exactly is constitutional in Nigeria? Who has taken the regions that refused to sell land to court? If Yoruba can't do anything to stop ibos now, when are they going to do it? Is it when they have enough power to strike? What stops SW governors from empowering Yoruba youths with subsidized goods ibos sell and run them out of business? Something is definitely clogging Yoruba brains and preventing them from thinking. Why can't Ambode put high rise buildings in areas ibos are and move thousands of jobless Yoruba youths in there to neutralize their numbers? These are things you can do and tell the public you are doing something else. How many youths have sprung up meetings and sent minutes to the local govt and states? Demanding that any candidate running for states and local govt must not have contribution from non Yoruba? For all we know ibos could have made a campaign donation to Amosun for the position of commissioner he gave them. Ibos are probably pulling strings behind while Yoruba just say anything that comes to mind on nairaland. Oh! I a guy by the handle Ekt_Bear, he was going to gather SW youths here on nairaland back then for the same purpose, I don't know what happened to the cause, a fellow Yoruba probably killed the idea. No! Yoruba is the most stupid and dumbest tribe ever.
I agree totally with you, and God will bless you for sharing same sentiment with me.
Our leaders are cursed and they are the real enemies of our people.
We simply need a bold leader like Amadu Bello. We need someone to do for us what Amadu Bello did for the North in the 60s.
The man came out and told ibos, in clear that they wouldn't be allowed to enjoy same or equal benefits with his people, and he stood by his words.
But here in the SW, we only have useless leaders that have been yielding to the demands of ibo people since 1999.
Verry sad i must say.
It has now gotten to a stage where they believe they should be having say and be carried along in all developments about our region
This is a verry dangerous trend that must end now, and it can only end if we take steps physically and not by the ussual internet nonsense fight back we are known for.
@ wyttecat and other yoruba Nairalanders, i'm using this medium to urge you all to write to the local government, elders, omo onile's and baales of your communities.
Draw their attention to this particular thread and enlighten them on the dangers ahead if we fail to act now by neutralizing the threats nonindegenes, especially ibos are begining to pose to the yorubas in SW.
I'll also do same, i'll reach out to many people as much as i can.
Pls don't discard this advice, we have to start somewhere.
Write as much as you can and draw the attention of your friends, neighbours and relatives to this thread cos most yorubas are not even aware of the evil plans of the people they are accomodating.
