I went for my interview for Category B on the 19th of October 2022, till date i havent gotten AM, I used a BA, wondering the cause of the delay.

My school is in Berlin, please is there anyone going to Berlin who did his or her interview in October and has gotten his/her Visa. I am worried, it been 11 weeks now.

Any idea on how long it takes Berlin to process your documents? For those going or in Berlin how long did it take before you got your Am please?

I know someone who was in your situation. She was also heading to Berlin, and she waited for about 9 weeks. She was able to reach out to the foreign office in Berlin. It's not a guarantee, but at least reach out so you can know if they have your application, at least.

For the first photo, fill in the school details. To fill in the details of persons (reference person), look at the name on your ission letter and look it on the school's website, it should be within the department for international students.

For the second one, if you aren't using a so-called sponsorship letter, fill in what you are using, either a blocked or scholarship. If you are using the sponsorship letter, indicate and say that it has been issued by a different sponsor, as seen in the options below. As for accommodation, simply type in the postcode and city name in which your university is situated. All the best.

Provided the ission letter is structured to allow you apply for a student visa, you're good to go.

From what I know, what that means is that you go to the courier office (best choice DHL) and pay for a delivery envelope. That delivery envelope is what the consulate will use to send back your port and other documents where necessary. You could simply state to the people at the office that you need a prepaid envelope and you would be assisted.

I heard the embassy have suspended giving out interview date and appointment mail for now. Those who have done their interview already have been waiting for 8 weeks now, no response.

You may be right. I sent an email and I was told that they still give out dates, but they're sorry for not offering more dates due to limited capacity. I feel they may have halted for a while. This month makes it one year of waiting for more. To be honest, it's been stressful but the stress has reduced now. I've also picked up new skills while waiting so in the long run, one could be grateful while waiting.

There's still hope. Faith and patience is really of the essence in these things.

The thing is my school is a polytechnic school and most universities in Nigeria don't offer Marine Engineering.

And pls what does it mean for a school in to be an online-only application on uni-assist? Does this mean uni assist won't my university entrance qualification certificate?

If you attended a polytechnic, OND/HND is assured. With either of those, you can apply for a BSc (in Engineering, as you stated.) You can apply to uni-assist normally.

1. Is IELTS compulsory? Someone told me I can get a letter from my school stating that I was taught in English? Is it true or will it suffice?

2. I did mass communication for my bachelors. My dream has always been to study international relations for masters degree but I keep seeing that there aren't much opportunities for the course in . I'm thinking of going for a course that is related to my first degree but I'm not sure of the opportunities in . Most people are going for science related courses. Please is there anyone here who is applying for an art course?

I would advise you go for something in the social sciences or even do another Bsc, in a related field. Most foreign students find it hard getting a job in the art field over there, mostly because of the language. This I heard from others, I have to say.

IELTS is not compulsory unless stated by the university. Most universities accept a signed and stamped letter of proficiency stating that you completed your secondary/tertiary education in the English language.

It's possible, just keep moving and God will place things rightly for you.

You can reschedule your appointment until all your documents are ready. When they are, you could reach out to the consulate either by email or phone and state your case.

Someone who booked on the 21st of November last year has gotten a date, so I heard, so keep up hope everyone.

Yes it's normal. That's for the dollar they have to credit your blocked . If you choose the euro option, you'd see a bank with an address from Luxembourg. So it's all good.

You have about three weeks to get a new ission. Applications are open. If you could still get ission with the university that gave you the former one, then good.

Few universities have already opened, most will open within November/December. Just keep tabs on the university/universities you want to apply to.
