Please will VITASSESS assess an MSc and PhD from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, equivalent to that obtained from Australia?

Your experience will start counting from your Msc date if your Msc was at least 18-24 months.
You will need to provide all the transcripts.
Adding your Phd will not reduce your years of experience because Biotechnologist is a level 1 occupation and only requires an AQF 7 which your masters should meet (AQF .
You can add the Phd to your EOI without assessing it.

Thanks for your response. I'm thinking of not including my PhD for VITASSESS assessment because I fear it might delay the assessment process. Now, if I don't include my PhD for assessment, my point on the assessment result from VITASSESS won't be up to 85 points.

Are you confirming that since the requirements for Biotechnologist only requires level 7 qualification, Visa Subclass 189 will allow me include my PhD during EOI application submission without assessing the said PhD with VITASSESS?

Again, during EOI application, is there a place where I'll be asked if I've completed skill set assessment? If so, what do I fill there please since my PhD wasn't assessed by VITASSESS please?

Another question is; how do I submit my transcript to VITASSESS? Do I need to tell my previously attended Universities to send directly to VITASSESS or I only need to a copy on the application portal?

Both Bachelor's and Master's degree will earn you the same point. Since it was assessed as a bachelor's degree, you may write Bachelor's degree there. Either way, you're still correct. It's the same point!

Biotechnologist occupation is a level 1 occupation.
1. For Vetassess, the last 12 months is fine. For DHA, you will need to provide for the entire period of employment
2. if you worked and lived in Lagos, then it should be from LIRS. Other states in Nigeria have their own respective Internal revenue service.
3. 90% of applications are completed in 4 months as at now. That can reduce or go up as well.

It may be a bit challenging to obtain from the school since I am currently not in Nigeria

When applying, you'll be required to an unofficial copy of these transcripts. However, It'll be required for your institutions to send directly (official copies) to the University if/when itted.

your Age is not an issue. Many people in their mid 30's and even 40 get approved. I started my PhD this year and I am same age as you. Became 30 this month and came in last month. Your employment as a lecturer is a home ties, express how you plan to utilize your degree to improve your career trajectory, start your research group etc when you return. I was also working in a University even as a non academic staff and that was basically my home ties.

@Sneh7 is kind of correct in the new payment suggestion, but his or her other answer was faulty.

1. I have not seen anyone who has paid with a virtual card, but any card you are using will be charged with USD. Hence , you may pay via First Bank transfer or bank deposit. You can transfer to the First Bank Acc# from any bank if you are opting for the bank transfer.

2. As a University lecturer who is unmarried, means (my personal interpretation ) " that you are a bookworm or career-oriented" which is kind of expected of few PhD applicants (even some University Professors).

3. With full funded PhD ission, proofs my point in labelling you " a bookworm or career-oriented" who are always outstanding in their pursuits via focus, and determination.

4. Ipso facto, Your strongest tie is your present employer eg OAU or Kaduna Polytechnic, b/cos this will give the consular officer the notion of your teaching ability in the future. Your 2nd best tie is your academic achievements, as explained previously here in sense - 4. PhD applicants are generally seen as Educational or Development Human Resources, therefore, few of them are really expected to come back.

PS: Nigeria is excempted from the 6 - months post VISA (Travel port) expiration rule.

PS: Age is not a factor for married life. What if he had wife and kids but divorced , and decided to choose single as marital status ?

PS: Your bad experience as a single VISA applicant cannot be used as a specimen or direction for others. Proof of Ties is a complex subject. You can proof ties abstractly.

2, I don't know how it will come out because with your age by now you're supposed to have married, or have a child,
