The boy don't really let us what lead him to prison...

He just told you in the video. He did nothing. The only person that can say something different is the Police. But the Police did not say anything different. Did you not read the Police statement? Empty and incoherent nonsense.

Here is an analysis of all the facts before us as presented by the Nigerian Police Force spokesman, and the family through their lawyer.

1. Age of Quadri Alabi:
Police: Claimed Quadri is 18 years old, implying he can be treated as an adult in legal proceedings.
Family: Asserted Quadri is 17 (born September 29, 2007), a minor, which raises concerns about the legality of his detention and treatment.
Analysis: This discrepancy is significant because, under Nigerian law, minors are subject to different legal procedures (e.g., the Child Rights Act). If the family's claim is accurate, the police may have violated Quadri’s rights by treating him as an adult.

2. Circumstances of Arrest:
Police: Stated Quadri was arrested following an investigation into a violent street clash on January 22, 2025, with evidence from witnesses and victims identifying him.
Family: Claimed Quadri was abducted by Area Boys (Lege and Baba Waris) and handed over to the police, with no evidence of his involvement in the alleged crimes. The police failed to specify who arrested him or where.
Analysis: The police’s lack of detail on the arrest process (who, where, and how) weakens their narrative, especially since the family provided specific names of the alleged abductors and a motive tied to prior harassment over donations.

3. Nature of the Incident:
Police: Described a large-scale street fight involving rival youth groups, leading to property damage, injuries, and robbery, with Quadri identified as a perpetrator.
Family: Denied Quadri’s involvement in any street fighting, robbery, or property damage, questioning the lack of an identification parade and the timing of the alleged crimes (10 PM).
Analysis: The absence of an identification parade, as required by law, undermines the police’s claim of victim identification. The family's point about the timing (10 PM) suggests visibility issues that could affect identification accuracy, further casting doubt on the police’s evidence.

4. Legal Process and Outcome:
Police: Stated Quadri was charged and remanded pending legal proceedings, emphasizing adherence to due process.
Family: Highlighted that Quadri was detained for a week before remand, violating constitutional limits, and that the DPP’s legal advice cleared Quadri, leading to his discharge by the court. He criticized the police for doubling down despite this outcome.
Analysis: The DPP’s exoneration and the court’s discharge strongly Effiong’s narrative of a wrongful arrest. The police’s continued defense, without addressing the DPP’s findings, suggests an attempt to save face rather than acknowledge potential misconduct.

5. Motive and Context:
Police: Did not provide a motive for Quadri’s alleged actions, focusing solely on the incident and investigation.
Family: Linked Quadri’s arrest to harassment by Area Boys since 2023, motivated by jealousy over donations Quadri received after his encounter with Peter Obi’s convoy.
Analysis: The family's narrative provides a plausible motive for why Quadri might have been targeted, ed by a history of harassment. The police’s omission of this context suggests they may be ignoring underlying factors that led to Quadri’s arrest.

I guess when Kemi Badenock was pointing hand at Nigeria Police I guuess it was because of politics...

You must have missed it so I will ask again. "What is the root cause of Quadri's ordeal? Was it not politics?"

Even Kemi Badenoch when she told the NPF story, was attacked in this same manner by psycophants of a certain political party, up to the extent of buying back what the NPF officials stole from them. The same psycophants are attacking Quadri, but yeah, it's not about politics.

Waste of words, really.

As a youth you're not safe in hand of police or law enforcement agency in Nigeria so mak una stop to dey add politics to everything....

Okay. What is the root cause of this matter? Was it not politics? Quadri, a teenager who isn't yet of voting age, was living his own obscure life until he innocently stood in front of Peter Obi's vehicle.

Omo..except one migrates their entire family from Nigeria, and probably gains another citizenship, there is no escaping these bloodsuckers. It's just to double down and dismantle this criminal contraption, so their psycophants can find something productive to do with their lives.

It's not adding up. We will soon know what exactly is going on. He stood in front of a car and suddenly landed in jail?
How will it add up, Mr Ostrich. Did you hear that from the video?
Quadri literally gave a timeline of events, so if you didn't understand the lawyer's polished English, did you also not understand Quadri's broken English?

FreeStuffsNG:
The case is in court yet Channels TV is hosting debate on the case.
Once again, in the video, it was clearly stated that the DPP recommended that the case should be dismissed and he be freed because there was no evidence to substantiate the allegation of armed robbery against Quadri. Which case is still in court?

Alabi Quadri and his lawyer, Inibehe Effiong appeared on Channels TV to recount the experience.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euPER-vbpZU

His lawyer took the lead, after which Quadri recounted his experience, how he was threatened after he went viral in 2023, the events leading to his detention, and how he does not feel safe in the environment anymore. Quadri shed light on the dehumanizing things he had to do while in prison, which include packing faeces everyday because he could not afford to settle the Marshall.

His lawyer confirmed that ₦10 Million has been raised for this cause and he has been moved to another enviroment. he reiterated that there are many Quadris in the Nigerian Correctional Service.

This is a must watch.

Take it as motivation!

Being that you earn that low, you must have felt attacked, and that's fine. The value of yourself is not defined by the 50k you earn or some random person's opinion of it. To survive in Nigeria is not child's play, but so far, you're surviving. You're not responsible for tanking the economy.

Just focus on what you can control. If you want to grow your income, you need to start small; save 5k every month, or get rid of certain expenses. Is it easy to request a salary increase? Can you add another job to your current hustle? Can you skill up on YouTube? Can any small side hustle fit into your schedule? Talk to people around you; any sure programme that pays, get the gist, and sign up ASAP. Make friends with those who lift you up.

See the toxic opinion in that post, push it far, far away from your mind. Success is about character and growth, not just money, and not marriage! Picture yourself in a year; in 5-years; take a step at a time and work towards it. Celebrate every win, and look towards the next goal. You'll get there. You're a survivor.

The economy may not get any better, but you're tough enough to have survived so far. Here's to more growth 🥂

And here are the facts and inferences after analysing the information before us:

1. Quadri’s Age:
Fact: The family provided a specific birth date (September 29, 2007), making Quadri 17 years old as of April 2025. The police’s claim of him being 18 lacks ing evidence.
Inference: Quadri is likely a minor, and the police may have misrepresented his age to justify treating him as an adult, potentially violating legal protections for minors under Nigerian law.

2. Circumstances of Arrest:
Fact: The family provided names (Lege and Baba Waris) and a motive (harassment over donations), while the police offered no specifics on the arrest process.
Inference: Quadri’s arrest may have been orchestrated by the Area Boys, with the police complicit or negligent in ing the circumstances, suggesting a possible frame-up.

3. Evidence of Guilt:
Fact: The DPP found no evidence linking Quadri to the alleged crimes, and the court discharged him. The police failed to address the lack of an identification parade.
Inference: The police’s case against Quadri appears to be baseless, as corroborated by the DPP and court rulings. Their continued justification suggests an unwillingness to it fault.

4. Police Conduct:
Fact: Quadri was detained for a week before remand, and the police ed him with unrelated adults, actions the family claims violate legal standards.
Inference: The police likely breached constitutional and procedural laws in handling Quadri’s case, ing the family's accusation of lawlessness.

5. Motive and Context:
Fact: Quadri’s viral moment with Peter Obi in 2023 led to donations, which the family says triggered harassment by Area Boys. The police did not address this context.
Inference: The harassment over donations provides a credible motive for Quadri’s targeting, which the police may have ignored or exploited, potentially indicating corruption or collusion with the Area Boys.

In this disturbing video, a group of children outdoors, where a Christian boy named Kefas, standing firm with his bicycle, is being intimidated by several other children, described as Muslim.

One of the children points a plastic toy gun at Kefas, while the group pressures him to enter a mosque and pray, labeling him an "infidel." They try to forcefully take over his bicycle.

An elder can be seen recording the incident, showing a lack of intervention and possibly indicating community tolerance or encouragement of such behaviour.

This tense interaction reflects the broader religious conflicts in Northern Nigeria, where Christian minorities often face pressure from the Muslim Hausa-Fulani majority, as highlighted in historical analyses of the region’s overlapping quarrels over land, ethnicity, and religion.

The video also underscores the early radicalization of youth in Northern Nigeria, where economic hardship and lack of education make children vulnerable to extremist ideologies,

The failure of inclusive education is evident here, as radicalization often stems from a lack of exposure to values of coexistence, a critical point raised in research on mitigating radicalism in the region.

A Yoruba priest in this video, publicly criticizes Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, after he sent a threatening video to a lady who aired her displeasure at his forcing his father's narratives down people's throats.

He asserts that Nigerians did not vote for him and he has no right to wield power.

The priest connects Seyi’s influence to the historical actions of Efunroye Tinubu, a 19th-century Yoruba slave trader who was banished for betraying her people, suggesting a pattern of exploitation in the Tinubu family.

He highlights Seyi’s unelected prominence, which reportedly sures some elected officials, and references the controversial 2023 election where courts upheld Bola Tinubu’s victory despite irregularities.

The priest’s message reflects general public frustration with dynastic politics, and debates over Seyi’s high-profile actions, saying Yoruba culture of respect is now being substituted for subservience instead.

Tarmacs need to be repaved every 15-20 years depending on the frequency of traffic and type of aircraft.

Maintenance of runways does not begin and end with repaving, but let's shelve that for now.

Are you aware that the most used runway at Murtala Muhammed Airport has been shut down for maintenance of varying ranges once every year for 4 years in a row now (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025)?

Also, I'm not sure where you got your 15 - 20 years range from, but it was not from a realistic source. Repaving may be periodic, but no where near your range. But as shown in the example above, it is an ongoing activity.

I'm sorry but you can't justify this negligence. You can only try; it will only fail before international standards.
