Churches are charity organizations. They can’t have too much money in their unspent according to law. Whatever they earn, they have to spend. The onus lies in the church whether to spend their earnings on building more structures or building the member's capacity & skills.

To get USA visa now extremely difficult. Might never apply again… Got my third denial today at the London Embassy. I met like 200 applicants on queue at around 9am on arrival, e just be like Lagos embassy lol 😂. I sha finally got in at 10 am and met a black american lady in her desk nagging all because of finger print. In my mind I was like Alaye calm down na money I pay oo. Finally finished finger print, went on the line for main interview. I was interviewed by one adaripon boy who is mixed, so the interview went like this:
Adaripon VO: good morning,
me: morning with a smile
Adaripon VO: what is the purpose of your trip to the us
me: I’m traveling to newyork city for tourism. I want to visit Niagara Falls, Statue of Liberty and explore the city of New York
Adaripon VO: Are you married?
me: Yes, I have my marriage certificate here and I also have a child
Adaripon VO: What does your wife do?
me: She works at a xyz company as xyz
Adaripon VO: Are you a skilled worker?
me: Yes
Adaripon VO: how long have you been in the uk?
me: 3 years
Adaripon VO: you have a masters degree in xyz?
me: Yes I came into the uk to study xyz, then towards the end of my program, I was sponsored by an employer to work here and I have been in the job for xyz years
Adaripon VO: typed for a while a gave me white paper saying I don not qualify for tourist visa. Tore the letter straight away and wave them goodbye. Done wasting my hard earned money on a visit visa to USA, make I dey tour other countries jeje. Na my money I wan go spend for them.

Hi gurus in the house, what is the smoothest route to relocate to the US? I’m on a work visa in the UK but I am just working to pay bills, to save is very hard. I need to relocate within the next six months. Your kind advice will be appreciated🙏

Give her six months, fix the points highlighted by the VO then reapply. Simple as ABC
Lagzyl1:
Good morning everyone, please I need an advice on how to tackle this refusal.
I live in the UK with my wife and we tried to invite my mother-in-in-law over to the UK to attend my graduation ceremony and to see the kids but her visa got denied
Here’s the refusal letter…
The decision
I have refused your application for a Visit Visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirement(s) of paragraph V4.2 of Appendix V of the Immigration Rules because:
• You state you are retired, and you do not have any income or savings and you spend 100,000.00 NGN (46.24 GBP) each month on living expenses. However, the documents you have provided do not demonstrate your current wider personal and financial circumstances or how you yourself daily in your country of residence. Therefore, I am not satisfied that your personal and financial circumstances are as stated.
• You state your sponsors (son-in-law and daughter) in the UK will pay a combined amount of 2000.00 GBP towards your visit. I acknowledge the ing evidence however from the information provided you have not demonstrated the relationship between you and your daughter in the UK. There is no formal document like a birth certificate to confirm the relation. This undermines the credibility of your current application.
• The factors mentioned above have not been taken in isolation but considered collectively. They damage the overall credibility of your application, leading me to doubt your intentions in seeking to visit the UK for the limited period and purpose stated. From the information on your application form and the documents you have submitted, I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the United Kingdom or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c).
• Rate of exchange £1 = [2,162.42 NGN (reference www.oanda.com on [25/09/2024]
• You have applied for 18 days visit to the UK for the purpose of visiting family and to attend your son-in-law graduation ceremony
Please how can I tackle this and re apply again.
Thanks for your prompt reply and contribution.

In this situation, you cannot directly appeal a visa refusal to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). However, you have a couple of options:
1)Request a Reconsideration: Write a letter to the visa office explaining that you accidentally left out the previous visa refusal. Include details and any ing documents. While this may not always change the decision, it's worth a try.
2) but your best option is to Submit a New Application: You can apply again. In the new application, include all relevant information, including the previous U.S. visa refusal, and attach a letter to explain the earlier mistake .
Thanks for your response, I will try the first option and I hope it favours him.

Good evening gurus in the house, my brother’s application to Canada was refused last week. Refusal letter states he wasn’t honest with his answer because he didn’t declare previous refusal to other countries. He was denied visa to the USA before but we forgot to include it in his Canada application. My question now is, can we appeal and explain it was an error on our path? Does anyone know how to start appeal on irrc website?

Hi,
Can you please confirm which documents your sister submitted on application before biometrics? Can it be that she skipped some documents which then led to send the email for additional documents ?

Hi Gurus in the house, my sister is applying to the uk to her partner who is a student. Few days after biometrics, she got a mail that her application is not straightforward and needed to a send a few more documents to the visa application. She sent a letter from her bank showing that her partner was a signatory to her and also sent rent receipt, seperate bank statements of both of them showing same address and receipt of tv bought in both their names. Today she got a mail that she has been scheduled for a zoom meeting with the home office as they are trying to conclude her application. Has anyone had this experience and what are the likely questions they might ask? Pls help🙏

What you guys don’t know is ircc look beyond your balance. They also use other factors to determine your eligibility. You can reapply and package your application well. If you need a professional travel service, I do offer one at a low cost. It’s up to you.
benjijosh:
Good morning I just got a refusual but I am sure it's wrong because I submitted documents to backup the points I was rejected for via web form and I am sure that was not used.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/
section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.
How can I appeal this decision?
Purpose of application was tourism
I submitted via web form my property documents
My statement of has over $50k in it

Try other countries where you stand a better chance of approval
GraceofGod100:
JESU, are you for real?, that mean they were also banned.... Yes we all applied together and biometric done the same day self..... And please sir ,how sure are you about this?..

Deering1008: 11:15pm On May 12, 2024 |
If your husband and your kids applied together with you on the application that gave you the ban, they will get refused any application to the uk until the ban is lifted. On the other hand, if they haven’t applied as your dependant on the supposed fake cos, they can apply to the uk without including your name in any of their application
GraceofGod100:
As the Main applicant I know for sure that I can't reapply again for the next 10 years but my husband and two kids is what I'm asking if the 10 years ban on my application affect my dependants or they were just refused visa not ban...
Due five eyes agreement between the 5 countries we are now considering exploring Europe as an alternative.
|
Deering1008: 10:43pm On May 10, 2024 |
Look for a legitimate way to migrate to another country. Uk doesn’t joke with ban if the mistake is on the end of the applicant
crackcrack:
This is something that can only be confirmed by your husband applying. No one here can tell you matter-of-factly.
One thing to note is that while filling the application for any UK Visa, your husband will be asked if he has ever been denied a visa, and why. He will have to declare this refusal and explain that it was because his wife used a fake COS. This will most likely set off alarm bells in the head of any visa officer.
You have established yourself as a deceiver. Whether it was intentional or not does not matter. And your husband, by association, cannot escape that stigma. Even if he was not given a 10-year ban, any subsequent applications will be looked at with a fine-tooth comb. I reckon a visit visa will be the most difficult to get. A study or work visa, which is what you say he's thinking of, might be easier, but he will still be thoroughly screened. That is if he has not been given that 10-year ban, in which case the denial will be automatic.
If you guys are willing to take the financial (and emotional) risk of finding out if that ban is in effect, then you can apply. The way I see it, you don't exactly have much to lose, except adding another refusal to your record. Or another ban, if you choose to deceive again.

While it’s good to have your partner close-by due to lonliness, Please don’t let anyone pressure you. Focus on getting a job and settling down first sir. Life abroad is not run on uncertainties, ensure you plan properly and take calculated risk to avoid financial & mental stress
Kuniennam:
Please experienced elders come and offer your 2cent for this situation.
I recently landed in Canada as a PR and still hoping for a job.
Before I landed, I engaged my girlfriend and we did introduction. Marriage was postponed till later to ensure that my marital status didn't change since I already had Copr and visa and didn't think having my application reopened before landing was the best option at that stage.
In the last one week, she has been on my neck to start processing our reunion. I explained to her that while we want this reunion now, we can't do anything till situation normalizes. She is suggesting that she applies for a tourist visa. I told her that while tourist visa is good it may not be the best option for our current situation. Here is the situation, we don't have the accumulated finances or income flow or assets to a tourist visa application at the moment.
I suggested, that she calms down till income starts coming, so that we can arrange my trip to Nigeria for our marriage. Afterwards we can leverage one policy that IRCC rolled in around May 2023 and submit a PR application then with the AOR apply for spousal visit Visa and SOWP all at once. She considers my suggestion deceptive that I don't want her to me, hence I am not approving of her tourist visa plan.
From her stance and what she heard from one of her colleagues she thinks the financial situation which affects the potential POF she may need to apply for her tourist visa can be arranged by agents. All my efforts to make her understand that she doesn't have a solid case with the tourist visa plan and that I don't trust Nigeria agents and can't allow her jeopardize our future reunion with unreliable documents showing numbers.
According to what she heard from a colleague too she even suggested to go ahead and acquire our certificate but I told her that it will be marriage by proxy. Especially if I don't leave Canada at the time, it will be issued and Canada doesn't recognise proxy marriages. Hence, if we apply anything with that certificate it may backfire.
The constant pressure to do something about our reunion is not helping issues at all. Please if you have any suggestion that may help us, we are willing to listen.

The new salary threshold for care visa is high and it may be hard to get sponsorship for care visa but if you have IT experience you can try switch to global talent visa

This is great news boss, I already have a care worker certificate that I can switch to. I thought it was very difficult to switch routes when you got there.
With this advice. I mean I should consider paying the 8m and get there with the church staff routes and is very possible to switch?

It’s an opportunity to explore the UK and move to another route. If your options are limited, you can go for it but make sure you have other skills you can use to transition to another skilled visa category. You can as-well switch to spouse visa if you have a fiance in the uk. Just have a solid plan and bring plenty money for accommodation and feeding.

That’s a charity visa you wanna get and you can’t work else where with it. In other words, with charity visa you can’t get a paid job. I may be wrong though.

Quick one, a very good friend of mine who left me here for the UK and also into UK school route agency work who was supposed to process my COS in care work before UK wahala started just called me that he currently has a COS as a church staff for 3yrs and I'm allowed to come with a dependent for 8 months. I then asked if I thought the dependent had stopped in the UK, and he said that was for only skills worker routes,
Omo, the matter sweet for hear but that 8m na waiting for me I know to get.
