yorubarere:Averagely most Yoruba can't tell the difference. Anyone beyond Ore is Omoibo, including akwa Ibom. So don't try to sound smart 3 Likes 1 Share |

aribisala0: The only person who contested against OBJ was a Yoruba, Olu Falae. Please don't twist the history |

Aufbauh: You lie man. I'm not Igbo but those people took nigeria as theirs. Their investments across Nigeria have defeated your false claim... I know how much investment and jobs they created in my town, I wish I could say that for other ethnic groups in Nigeria. .. Even though they are not perfec because no one is. |

headSmasher: President was submitted to Yoruba in 1999 for same purpose....... Emotional blackmail. In lead up 2015 elections, the North argued that the presidency be returned to the region to complete Late Musa Yaradua's tenure. Is that not emotional blackmail but when it's ibos, Nigerians lose their senses. Very disgusting |

SlyDev: Story story. Yet they're heading leadership position in global institutions like World Bank and WTO Even most developed countries they winning Elections. I'm not Igbo but let's not decieve ourselves. Shebi na Fulani and Hausa that have leadership and istrative material. Abeg make ị hear word |

christistruth01: This is beer parlor talk dude. Nigeria triumphed over Biafra due to the enormous political, military and diplomatic from major super powers namely UK and USSR, and other powerful blocs like Arab league and OAU. Let's not deviate from the issue. |

christistruth01: You're saying something different. I'm only establishing a historical fact here. Which is that Portharcourt was not included in Adaka Boro 1966 movement. Please get Adaka Boro's book to enlighten yourself on the topic |

christistruth01: You're a funny person. What you showed me is of "major" Adaka Boro who fought on the federal side during Biafra war. Please why didn't Boro include Portharcourt in Niger Delta Republic which took place in 1966, a year before Biafra. Portharcourt was not part Boro's Niger Delta Republic. |

Tranquill: How come there was no documentation about the land grabbing, brazen thievery by Igbos? I hope you are aware that the Riverine people were firstly educated before ibos? So if there was such issues, the riverine groups like Kalabari, okrika who had fine lawyers who would have taken legal actions. Again do you know many non igbos had lands in enugu? My grandfather a civil servant has property in Uwani and coal camp. These were popular areas back in the the 60s |

Tranquill: Stop sounding ahistorical, Willink commission captured Portharcourt division and Ahaoda division as "Ibo" areas. Secondly ikwere and other igboid groups in current day Rivers state chickened out during on the last days of the struggle. My grandfather from Ugep, was a civil servant in Eastern region. This was the major reason the COR movement failed, The ibos whom were supposed to be part of it chickened out. They were also in ogoja province not just Portharcourt and Ahaoda |

christistruth01: Why didn't Adaka Boro include Portharcourt in his Niger Delta struggle? Why did he stop at Bonny river? Dude didn't even include Opobo. I think you should pick up a copy of his book |

Kebbiprince: No Aboki. I think bandits, ISawp and Boko Haram owns the north |

ThumbzTNA: SS as a zone was meant for "minority" There's no way you're having major ethnic group occupy a whole state. Any Ibo looking for a state in SS should be willing to SE |

oyatz: The bolded group and their fellow igboid groups in Ahaoda and Portharcourt division declined Rivers state in 1958 because of Ijaw renegotiating the by trying to add up western ijaws. Ikwerre and ekpeye weren't championing any state creation |

Christistruth00:. Adaka boro and his people had no business to with portharcourt because, it's obvious that you know nothing about the Eastern region....its geography and history |
You want to start another fight with Benue, Kogi, Delta and Rivers? Only you? Where will you get allies from? Or you alone wants to fight everybody and win everybody? Politics is not like this o. Which ethnic groups will do the fighting? What we should asking is.... Are there ibo lands and groups in those aforementioned states |

NewsForYou: Bro it's not about landmass anymore. I would prefer an anambra that is densely populated and well built up than any larger northern state. Large empty spaces are not that viable, Businesses are complaining of low patronage,, no real estate boom and lands are not appreciating. I'm not ibo but I think southeast has no problem with land, they're likely to be first area of west Africa that will embark on large highrise residential homes, from the already existing 4-6 storeys to 13-20, all they power supply and planning 1 Like 1 Share |

ifiokjohn: That's what I feel too but I think People from akwa Ibom needs to be vocal on this issue. |

ifiokjohn: A couple of Ijaw groups are closing in coastal areas of akwa Ibom which will ll strip the state of her oil and gas assets.. And access to the sea. |

Thoh: Stop painting the pictures of War in SS especially nọt with ibos. Nobody wants that. Ijaws are likely to have a war on tribes than ibos. I that some Ijaw groups are dragging land in akwa Ibom. You guys are aiming to strip akwa Ibom their oil status and access to the sea, Which can never happen |

Thoh: Ijaws picking fight with ibos at advent of Nigeria break up will be there(Ijaw) biggest undoing. Ijaws still have land tussle in Almost all states in SS. Guy please forget that talk. Plan for partnership and cooperation. War is not good, because I see ibos mobilizing and seizing an Ijaw coastal town 1 Like |

Thoh: It's sad that Ijaws are still about crude oil in few weeks to 2022. Yesterday landlocked Rwanda launched mtn electric cars yet you think its by crude oil? Honestly i feel sad for people like you in SS. If you're not talking about Agriculture, manufacturing and IT..... Just forget 5 Likes |

Thoh: If you're an Ijaw person and you wrote this, I honestly feel sorry for you. One big mistake you make is to think that other ethnic groups in South South doesn't know the benefit of ports and partnership with ibos. Let me tell you this for free, ibos are likely to partner with we akwa-cross on the areas of Port and international trade. The recent partnership with Ambazonia is tandem with that partnership which will link up ibo land to international borders via Ambazonia to central and East Africa. With the current state of affairs, I don't see ibos having much partnership with Ijaws.. The people of cross river and akwa Ibom stand better chances, check ibo investment in Ijaw land to get a better sense of what I'm talking. Ibom Seaport is very welcomed among many igbos I have come across here. Again, ibo land is not landlocked even if they seceded without any coastal areas. They can simply dredge their rivers to contain ocean vassel. Trying to stop ibos from using their rivers to access the ocean will result to full blown war. I will advise anybody from SS, it will be a big mistake to have a war with igbo if Nigeria break because such will give them to seize lands and territories.... And there would be no Nigerian government to calm the situation. In the break up Nigeria, every minority should work towards peace and cooperation with their igbo neighbors. If you are really Ijaw, wake up from your slumber, think about where you can get money to clean up your environment which was degraded by oil exploration for decades 1 Like |
