python/R is optional at this stage, you can get a data analysis job with just Excel, power bi and sql...then you can move on onto python later, tho I personally prefer using R for my analysis (from cleaning to visualization) than any other tools..but it's not compulsory for data analysis.

there are lots you need to know in Excel ( from importing a file to formulas to functions and dashboards)..but follow Alex the Analyst and Mike girvin on youtube to make learning more easier..

And data visualization is the last stage of data analysis (before reporting tho) so make (tableau and powerbi) the last thing to learn, after excel, go straight to sql, become proficient using sql and excel, then you can move on to power bi

Everything you need to know and become a data analyst is online, no need for an msc programme( on data analytics)..but if you feel you need more deeper knowledge about it or to improve your portfolio, then an msc in pure statistics is okay while making transition into data science/engineering...

Just go on and the school, you will get more satisfactory answer from them than here..wish you all the best tho.

Firstly, considering your good grade in your first degree, and your relevant work experience why did you want to switch into data analytics?? I would recommend considering a master's in surveying as well.

And I think stat aligns more with data science and machine learning than data analytics..and why pursue an MSc in a field accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds without formal education? if at all you want to go for an msc, or you wish to move into tech, why not on data science or data engineering?

And to your question, it is advisable to visit your desired institution, engage with their istration or student affairs, as each school may have distinct criteria.
