Two people call me, I no pick because I no see the point of these yeye calls and messages. Even Whatsapp messages, na tomorrow I go reply them

Back when I was in school, there's a popular Bet shop opposite my house where we usually go to charge phones. One day a guy staying at the house opposite mine begged my friend to borrow him ₦200 while we were charging phones.

He used the ₦200 to bet and won ₦2.7 million, he didn't come back to "find something" for my guy neither did he repay the ₦200 loan.

Also the owner of the bet shop once won ₦1 million from dog race and one other day, dog race jackpot fell on his ticket; he got ₦1.3 million from the jackpot. At least he share 2k give any guy wey come around that day.

My neighbour also won ₦13 million from Bet9ja two years ago, though I'm very sure he has lost more than that because he doesn't play with less than 500k.

Anyways, I hate gambling and would never advice anybody to venture into it.

A seller showed a friend of mine two laptops, one was a 5th gen core i7, U variant with 1tb HDD and 12gb of RAM, the other was an 8th gen core i5, also U variant, with 256gb SSD with extra space for HDD and 8gb ram. Both were going for 175k, I told him the i5 was better, and he looked at me and said; "guy, you well so, you no see the numbers?". He burst into laughter and bought the i7. I wondered why he needed my opinion in the first place.

I sell computers and it gets worse. One question customers always ask is " what is the speed". They'll tell you that your 10th generation core i5 laptop @1.10GHz is slow and that an old school core 2 duo laptop clocked at 3.0GHz would be faster.

The best way to get rid of an addiction is to replace it with a healthier one. I honestly doubt if I've tasted Pepsi or coke this year, I usually buy ingredients for zobo, make them and fill up my fridge with it. You can try zobo also, then customise it to your taste.

I had similar problem with Zenith bank few months ago. I woke up to see ₦2,500 deducted twice from my ; this only stopped because I had 6k in that and the person couldn't try the third time.
I chatted up their customer care rep through their website and the representative rudely told me that my card was used to pay for Facebook ads. Funny thing is that since I collected that card last year, it has never left my house, infact I had only used it once on Luno.
I just transferred the remaining 1k to my other bank and dumped the Zenith .

sending airtime from one phone to another still require a pin except that you are first timer of airtime transfer, otherwise they won't be able to transfer the airtime out

I don't know how these criminals do it, but they usually call the network provider to change the transfer PIN. I when my phone got stolen, they actually changed my PIN.

UBA ask for pin even for self recharge.

Many other banks don't, at least I'm sure of GTB and Access Bank.

What are they supposed to do about it?

They can request for PIN even when you're buying airtime on your line, because that's exactly what the criminals do.
They buy airtime through your bank to your line since there's no prompt for PIN, after that they send it the airtime to another number.

Nigerian banks are just too useless. People have been complaining about thieves using their stolen SIM card to purchase airtime but till now they've refused to do anything about it.
