The ghost touch problem of the leagoo m8 is too rampant. I accidentally ran into someone who uses leagoo m8, and he complained of ghost touching. I am also experiencing the same problem occasionally. Doesn't the company read the reviews of their customers? The phone is a good product with good specs(except the terrible flashlight), but this ghost touch takes away the shine off the product. Am really not happy |

Jackossky:Sincerely, I've had to treat this phone like an egg. I bought the pouch and screen guard, incase it falls. Two weeks ago, I charged it with a friend's Power bank and all of a sudden, that ghost touch started. I removed the battery for like 5 minutes and it was normal again. Last week, I think I charged it with another person's charger and it started again. This time, removing the battery didn't work. I wasn't happy that day. But at evening, I charged it with its charger, and when I wanted to use it, it was normal again. I can't say exactly why it has behaved like this, but it is in line with what other s have complained about. For now no issues. It's three months since I got it on jumia. Took about 15 days to deliver to my house. |

Instead of the command to carefully look into these allegations with a view of improving the image of the police thereby gaining public trust, they are insulting Nigerians. Who has not had one or have someone who has had a rough encounter with these supposed friends of the public? I just don't know what to say in response to this press release. |

Doubtful diagnosis* My dad went to a 'medical outfit' to run tests. The outfit uses an electronic machine which has a display screen and a sort of small cylinder/ball extension. The client is expected to hold the small cylinder/ball with his hand for about 5 minutes. After that the machine displays a body image with different body organs highlighted. The machine, as claimed by the owners can tell or diagnose any illness or abnormalities of the human body by just holding the small cylinder/ball for 5 minutes. For my dad, he was told that his blood was acidic and so a strange white salt was given him to reduce his supposed blood acidity. They claimed that the acidity was due to drinking both sachet and bottled water; that the water was acidic. I have had to do a search on the internet of any full body scans/scanners. And I found non ( no one is effective and safe and recommended by relevant regulatory bodies) . Close to it were these: 1. CT scans, which are not so safe. 2. A new device which is been developed that with a drop of blood could diagnose over a hundred ailments. This is because it analyzes analytes in the blood. 3. Next was a hand held device which is best used for the ears. It can generate 3D images of body organs when placed over them. 4. MRI 5. Ultra sound I want people to critically look into these unfounded claims of these people so they can be stopped from deceiving the public, creating medical nuisance and disguised stealing from the public. |

Jennifer89:A lot of people have said that on heavy usage, it lasts for between 6-7 hours I can't say if it is rugged or not but some people here have complained of touch screen issues. But I bought mine because I saw the replacement parts on aliexpress. The picture quality is good but not superb. The front camera is good for selfie but no flash. But the pro has only one led flash while the m8 has dual flash(good for night photo). Somebody has already said that m8 is more rugged. I had a tough time choosing because I didn't like the back dual cameras of the m8pro which has only one poor flash and was more expensive. The m8 does not have have 4g. I got my m8pro from Jumia because I was having difficulty buying from aliexpress. The phone online was N27800 and the leather pouch was N1300. I wish I could some pics for you, but... Apart from the issues I had earlier complained of, the phone is okay for me 1 Like |

0079jaBond:The most common flashing method is with 'sp tool' . You can search on the internet on how to use it. You will need the leagoo rom file to flash. You may try the hard reset before flashing, if it will solve your problem. |
![]() |
Jennifer89:It's a good phone but: 1. Heats up a lot 2. Too heavy 3.Has a poor flashlight, that makes any picture at night blurry. 4. No flash for selfies. But I must say that I am still enjoying the phone. Almost 1 month since I got it from Jumia. |
![]() |
0079jaBond:Am not sure how to do that, sorry. |
![]() |
0079jaBond: You can try to remove the battery for a minute. You can do a reset by clicking the power button and either the volume up or down simultaneously, when the phone is off. It will bring out a menu. You can navigate with the volume and power buttons. |

coachy777:I've experienced similar thing with my former phone. It all started when I took the phone for charging issues to a repairer. Once I tested the camera, only the front one came up and it was inverted. I went back to the repairer and he fixed it. I think he did not connect the camera when he coupled the phone the first day I gave him my phone. |

kings09: Let's say, it was stated that it happened in Port Harcourt, on 1 October 2017, etc. These details give credence to the story and makes them verifiable. They don't necessarily expose anyone to harm or danger. I've seen a story that says that former presidents Goodluck and Obasanjo have been arrested. The story had photos to authenticate it, and still yet, it was false. Not all stories are true, so be objective |

If am to give my opinion, I would suggest tecno w3, though the camera is poor. If you buy phones from China that don't have spare parts or a service center here in Nigeria, you will bear the risk alone I use a a phone shipped from China, and I understand the risks with such products. It's like those notices that say that cars are parked at owners risk. If you can bear the risk, you can try out the other suggestions given here, because they are good. |

I ordered my phone from Jumia for 28,500 (including transportation). It took about 17 days including weekends and 2 public holidays to be delivered,: the pouch took about 21 days The phone weighs a lot Very slow in charging I don't still get the meaning of the back dual cameras. When I close the lower one, I observe no difference. Poor pictures in low light conditions. I think the main camera is actually 8mp interpolated to 13mp Overall, I think the phone is good 3 Likes |

I'M JUST THINKING OUT LOUD. THE BIG BROTHER NAIJA SHOW. There's a notorious programme currently going on called THE BIG BROTHER NAIJA. The winner of this notorious show is expected to walk away with a whopping N25 million and a breathtaking car. All that is required to win this show is to be Live with a bunch of fellow crazy, irresponsible people, do all sorts of immoral things, and, viola, you're the winner. Next thing, you're called a celebrity, winning big ment contracts and becoming the face of multinational companies. If only there could be an educating version of this programme. If only they could house some intelligent people in like manner and make them compete for similar prizes. But, no! Our people do not encourage sanity. Our society promotes evil over good, indecency over decency, immorality over morality, and ungodliness over godliness. The best in Mathematics competitions will go home with either a carton of cowbell milk or Indomie noodles, ridiculous stipends and laughable prizes. Yet these morons in BBN will earn millions for coming to suck breasts, speak thrash, display nudity, and get under the sheets on International TVs. Our rich individuals, companies and corporate organisations will spend huge sums of money sponsoring dirty shows like BBN and Beauty Pageants where they will enthrone satanic activities, display nudity, molest our under aged girls, and make them win on bottom power rather than on real beauty and brains. Can anyone forget the Anambra State born Chidinma Okeke saga in a hurry? What a wasted generation! What a time! How do we raise, nurture and produce the next Chike Obis, Chinua Achebes, Wole Soyinkas, Cyril stover, Apostle olatunde Adekunle, and yes, P.O.C. Akorefes ![]() Let all people of goodwill come together and raise alarm against this dirty programme. Let us all with one voice and in unison say, "We've had enough of this nonsense." Let us blow the trumpet in Zion and declare war on these encouragers of evil tendencies and promoters of these demonic programmes targeted at our highly impressionable youths. We should see that this programme is replaced with a more intelligent and educative programme. Nigeria is broke morally and financially, yet the sponsors are wasting millions of Naira on a highly immoral programme. Please what is the lesson that one can learn from this Big Brother show? What can our YOUTHS pick from it? I know this kind of write up doesn't get many shares. But if we keep quiet, then we are silent conspirators. So share. Share until a thought process is provoked in the heart of everyone and we can stand up to say, Enough of this nonsense." SAY NO TO IMMORALITY @copied

*US SEC Enforcement Actions Against Ponzi Schemes* What Is A Ponzi Scheme? A Ponzi scheme is an investment fraud that involves the payment of purported returns to existing investors from funds contributed by new investors. Ponzi scheme organizers often solicit new investors by promising to invest funds in opportunities claimed to generate high returns with little or no risk. With little or no legitimate earnings, Ponzi schemes require a constant flow of money from new investors to continue. Ponzi schemes inevitably collapse, most often when it becomes difficult to recruit new investors or when a large number of investors ask for their funds to be returned. Curtailing Ponzi schemes and holding able the individuals responsible for these scams is a vital component of the SEC's enforcement program. Examples of SEC enforcement actions against Ponzi schemes include: 2014 Neal V. Goyal – SEC charged a Chicago-based investment fund manager with operating a Ponzi scheme that used new investor funds to pay redemptions to existing investors and fund his own lavish lifestyle. Gaeton "Guy" Della Penna – SEC charged a Sarasota, Fla.-based private fund manager with defrauding investors in a Ponzi scheme that ensued after he squandered their money on bad investments and personal expenses. Joseph Signore and Paul L. Schumack II – SEC charged the operators of a South Florida-based Ponzi scheme targeting investors through YouTube videos and selling them investments in a product called virtual concierge machines (VCMs) that would purportedly generate guaranteed returns of 300 to 500 percent in four years. *Canopy Financial* - SEC obtained an emergency asset freeze to halt a $75 million Ponzi scheme that defrauded investors in a private placement offering. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois brought parallel criminal actions against Canopy Financial's founders. Trevor Cook - SEC obtained an emergency asset freeze to halt a Ponzi scheme that raised $190 million from 1,000 investors through the uned sale of investments in a purported foreign currency trading venture. A judge later ordered Cook to be jailed for failing to comply with the asset freeze . The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Minnesota brought a parallel criminal action against Cook. Mantria Corporation - SEC obtained an emergency asset freeze against four individuals and two companies for perpetrating a $30 million Ponzi scheme that persuaded more than 300 investors nationwide to participate in purported environmentally-friendly investment opportunities. When will our government wake up to this menace? Why can't Nigeria copy the US in dealing with this fraud? Should we wait until Nigeria/Nigerians are ruined by this unscrupulous business? Is the government really aware of the consequences of these schemes? I really wish we could have a saner and organized system in Nigeria God bless Nigeria Data from: https://www.sec.gov/spotlight/enf-actions-ponzi.shtml 8 Likes |

I want to bring your attention to a number of Ponzi schemes being perpetuated in the country under names like MMM, Global Alliance, Helping hands etc. I do not know whether there are currently laws in our constitution that allow or criminalizes such schemes. A Ponzi scheme (also a Ponzi game or a Ponzi) is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned through legitimate sources. Operators of Ponzi schemes usually entice new investors by offering higher returns than other investments, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent. Ponzi schemes occasionally begin as legitimate businesses, until the business fails to achieve the returns expected. The business becomes a Ponzi scheme if it then continues under fraudulent . Whatever the initial situation, the perpetuation of the high returns requires an ever-increasing flow of money from new investors to sustain the scheme. In all places where this scheme operated, unsuspecting citizens lost their moneys either to the scammers or due to a collapse of the fraudulent system. If these schemes are not checked for their legitimacy, it could lead to a lot of Nigerians losing their moneys to scammers. I hope this is looked into |
