maik99:Problem is, if Nuno Mendes was here in place of Dorgu, high chance he won't be currently highly rated as world best LB. Think about it. ![]() 7 Likes 1 Share |

Lol. Na why I siddon low-key dey look. I no dey judge Amorim yet till he has one full summer transfer and a pre-season with the players he trust and deem suitable for the kind of system he wants to play. Many people have dunked on him for his stubborn insistence on playing a back three. Will be interesting to see how things play out in the new season. |

Ellexy:LMAO. ![]() I'm not trying to defend Amorim here, but c'mon man. Are you joking here? Amorim was clearly being honest, even if that 'honesty' sound like what Ralf Rangnick once said in his evaluation of the situation at the club and what needed to be done. Amorim is clearly saying if by the time the next season begins and things have not changed, then maybe we shouldn't be playing in the Champions League and should instead just be playing in the Premier League. One might argue that things should improve with the remaining matches at least, but to be honest, it just doesn't look like things will improve in the remaining matches of this season. Let's see what the summer transfer and pre-season has, then we may judge whether the team would be serious for the next season or not. |

larride:Lol. They rush go market, buy the product, close mouth. Quick fire something. But were we really interested in the guy sef? Make e no be a case of Ten Hag 2.0 where the current coach goes to raid his former club o. |

Oasis007:Make we no lie sha. You were actually rooting for Ruud to be given the coaching job, atleast till the end of the season. Larride consistently cautioned against going that route. It's okay to it to have 'capped' in the past. Them no go kee anybody. 4 Likes |

Jamiuokolaa:You do realize that even before Amorim came, Rashford had done everything to de-market himself? Look at his performance in recent times, the inconsistency and all that. Which big clubs really will have gone for him, even before Amorim? It's not like before Amorim came he had already singled Rashford out in his mind that he won't fit in his system. Like some people have consistently said on this thread, so many of the players we thought might struggle to shine in Amorim's philosophy, may end up doing better than those we thought were fit for the system. Essentially, every player got a chance to impress the new manager, stake a serious claim for space in the team. Rashford instead chose to be sulky, feeling like a starboy in the club who is untouchable and despite the stinkers he consistently put up, every manager will have to tolerate him. Amorim came and changed all that, made it clear to him that if he doesn't put in the shift and actually changed for the better, he might as well fúck off. It's that simple. For all I see, Rashford is the one consistently over-demarketing himself. It can't really be hard to sit down, put in the work to improve. Instead, being a sulky boy, he ran to deliver an interview, talking about 'i need a new challenge', meanwhile, what he really is a club and coach that will tolerate his nonsense. Amorim only answer questions in the press. The onus is on Rashford to put in the work, impress the coach in training that he really want this. At the end of the day, it will be for his (Rashford) own good, because then he will see regular playtime in the team, and if he decides to leave later on, clubs are certain to bid for him. 3 Likes |

Roland17:You're right sha. Only if there's someone with direct access to Amorim to advise him accordingly. |

MRTA7:Pretty sure the man's trying to avoid those questions. The press just always keep pushing. He try always to deflect from the questions about Rashford. Methinks he's trying very much to be diplomatic with the press, knowing how well the British press can turn things on a manager. |

nitrogen:Adapt a bit? This was a slippery slope ETH embarked on, and we all saw how that ended. He could not recover from the slide down that slope. ![]() 1 Like |

afrodoc2:Me think he took on the Leicester City job too quick. Like he want to try to prove something, especially to the Man United board that he's a good coach and should have been retained instead of employing Amorim. ![]() |

Leyqute:Maybe the captain armband and responsibility takes the toll on him, making him feel like he has to do everything, make magic out of nothing, on his own? |

Leyqute:What are the chances that Bruno simply won't thrive in Amorim's team in the long run? Could he actually be on borrowed time? |
![]() |
odizeey:I think he knows his best players from the current lot that he can manage and make do with. But he's giving every player a long rope to tie themselves so that when the time comes for tough decisions to be made and some of these players have to be cleared out, sentiments and emotions from fans won't cloud reasoning. 2 Likes |

I'm very much behind Amorim sha. Once he gets a full summer transfer window and a preseason too, then I can assess him as a success or failure. But until then, I no too put hope on any result currently. 3 Likes |

![]() |
eph12:Just give them away for free. A massive clear-out is needed. Because wtf??!!!! How can 80% of the team be so horrendous?? |

Joezinho:Shouldn't more emphasis be on giving Bayindir more game-time. Because Onana, as a reliable safe-hands? Ahhhhhhhhhh! 2 Likes 1 Share |
