How can I hard reset my brother's VIVO Y1s .He forgot his pattern lock and it seems that's the only option now. He is pressing power button and volume up buttons...then he selects clear data.. but it still requests for the same pattern again.

He also mentioned same price.

Most vivo phones doesn't permit factory reset if you don't know the . Take it to a capable gsm software technician near you if that's the case. Mind you it can be expensive.

Did you say high purchasing power? If things continue like this, then demand-pull inflation comes in and the government will come in to begin to retract the economy rather than expand it. Then everything becomes almost unbearably high.
