You obviously was dreaming of your hometown before colonial periods. Most times your lies and painting of a place you have never really navigated talks load of your education. Maybe you should take a moment and explore instead of baseless assumptions from just ing through. You might learn that the people who you think are people are not people who think and look like you

There was a time I ed through Kogi State by road and I asked my self,

"Is this place in Nigeria?"

The structures, environment, and the people looked like 400BCE.

The place is too poor!!!

And it's because of people like Yahaya Bello!

There is a positivity in his statement and I'm surprised that even he isnt seeing it

We now have electric light more than ever before

Paying for Electricity has always been a problem. If most could pay, the Govt have no issues providing 24/7 light for us

I'm glad that under this PBAT era, Light has never been the issue.

Sometimes I imagine it miraculous that the human brain can indulge itself to imagine, think, reason and act backwards. I am seriously at awe at how you arrive at this statement. Even if you are paid to be a sycophant, I am sure your pay masters will without second thoughts remove you from their payroll for sounding this extremely unintelligent. Jeez!!! Please have your brains checked, you are a disgrace to humans who spent all resources to learn how to read and write.

I really do not know how you come to be a follower of Christ with all these tendencies to insult other folks. Reconsider the way of the cross and have a genuine repentance. You are really not doing the body of Christ any good here.

10thTenthMan:
DSS and lies.

DSS, Please focus on your main roles as follows:

''The State Security Service (SSS) or Department of State Services (DSS) is typically enabled to perform its roles and functions chiefly by Instrument SSS No.1 of 1999 made pursuant to Section 6 of the National Security Agencies (NSA) Act 1986 Cap. 74, LFN 2004. Other decrees (Decree No. 16 of 1976 and Decree 19 of 1986) charged the Agency with roles and functions that are very similar in content. These include but not limited to the following;

a. Prevention and Detection of any crime against the internal security of Nigeria;

b. Protection and Preservation of all non-military classified matters concerning the internal security of Nigeria;

c. Prevention, Detection and Investigation of threats of Espionage, Subversion, Sabotage, Terrorism, Separatist agitations, Inter-group conflicts, Economic crimes of National security dimension and threats to law and order;

d. Provision of protective security for designated principal Government functionaries, sensitive installations and visiting dignitaries;

e. Provision of timely advice to Government on all matters of National security interest and

f. Such other functions as may, from time to time, be assigned to it.''

You are supposed to be a model organization. A highly professional organization.

YOU SEE THAT YOU HAVE FAILED IN ALMOST EVERY IMPORTANT ROLE OTHER THAN SECURING designated principal Government functionaries and visiting dignitaries. You haven't even been able to secure sensitive installations in Nigeria, because vandals still attack the National Grid, etc. . Biko, face the work you were established for and stop the display of crass rascality and motor park touts tactics. Fulani herdsmen run around. Boko Haram wont allow peace reign. Bandits terrorize farmers leading to destruction of the agricultural products supply chain. Kidnappers kidnap Nigerians on a daily basis. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE. Gather intelligence. Work on these. Infiltrate these groups. Go undercover. Dismantle these groups.

If You guys like, use the time and resources to start tracing internet networks and MAC Addresses, VPNs on Nairaland and then ''invite them to come and interview you'' as you usually put in your letters. You cannot shock Nigerians beyond what you have been doing, dont worry. No lies you tell will shock us. If no be government wey give una Tarvor 21 and FN FS2000 to carry about.

Are you proud of yourself right now?
malali:

Crude Oil is more than just NNPC
1-Crude Oil sales is the generator of revenue for the whole country- the whole 36 states.
2-We don't provide enough crude to fulfill export OPEC quota and local refineries existing before Dangote.
3-The crude market is the world most recognized international commodity market.

4-Nigeria has the right to determine who they sell and buy crude from without any subjugation or coercion.
5-A lot of countries producing crude and exporting also import e.g USA, the crude they produce is not best suited for their refineries, so they export and import the Saudi crude in return, so crude trading is bilateral
6-Nigeria has established trading relationships with some crude buyers internationally for over 30 years, if we stop all of them and sell to dangote today and tomorrow dangote decides to not buy from Nigeria, it will be difficult to re-establish selling to our "plugs" because they might have found other customers.

7-Dangote refinery being a private business entity should source his crude from open market, make petrol and then we are sure of his capacity to function before doing business with him. Building a refinery and effectively running it are 2 different things.
8-If we get involved in Dangote refinery too early, he might use the Nigerian government to run his refinery.Because he is going to need funding and logistics to run the refinery.

Dangote Refinery is still a private business and must be treated as such. Crude oil sale is what the whole Nigeria depends on, we cannot give it to "one person" it doesnt make business sense or protect our sovereignty as a country.

I will want to say that you are an enlightened fugitive (That is not a compliment, it means you never completed your demonstration of education). Maybe you should understand that from prehistoric, historic, present and futuristic encounter between man and his environment is always going to be diametrically opposed. Unfortunately, it will be hard to understand and comprehend for people not residing, working or living in Kogi state. Just like when an EFCC official will burst me at Berger Bridge in Lagos and arrest me for looking too clean and owning an apple made computer with a client's name; Flitz's file (FYI, I am just an academic research assistant), they went back and forth looking for what didn't exist until one of them came clean and said, we have done what we can and we know you are a freelancer with Upwork, Fiverr and others. Just drop some dollars make we free you. I viewed the entire EFCC and that unashamed chairman with disdain that day.

I will say this to outsiders, Kogi state is as poor as Zamfara and Ekiti state, Yahaya Bello cannot steal 80 billion and that state will not sink into the Niger and Benue Rivers all together. The illusion that the money was actually even there to steal should be the crux of the matter. Dude has been legally dishing blows every other time and that unashamed agency is still talking? Only people who don't know that EFCC is an agency full of rogues will be mugging here.

NB: A white Lion is actually an albino, they don't stress themselves because they know nature is against their existence. They just stay in their cave and others talk about how white and clean they are, then bring them their meals.

Like I said, do well by having access to the financial cruise of Kogi state before making posits. Kogi state under Ibrahim and Wasa was a very poor state with heavy debt records. From my little investigation, Bello was abke to service the debt by making his people suffer through half payment of salaries for 8 years.He installed his protegee Usman who inherited a debt free government and the bloke pays 100% since his inauguration. I mean he starts paying workers from 23rd to 28th of each month. I don't work for either Bello or Yahaya, I only decided to find out myself about the Kogi narrative. Biko, I am tired, incase you need a research assistant to help with your academic writings, the number is 08060953337

Think outside the box!

The Order 31(3) of Rules of Professional Conduct for legal practitioners is not casted in stone and therefore contestable in court and when it was referenced by the EFFC's lawyer, did the judge enter judgement against Yahaya bello's Legal representative?

Now the question is, how do you determine that Yahaya's Lawyer WILLFULLY failed to comply with the undertaking to produce his client in court and should thus warrant a punishment?

Should the lawyer procure the services of Amotekun or Kogi state Vigilante group to capture Yahaya Bello, to produce him in court so as to be seen as complying with Order 31(3) of Rules of Professional Conduct for legal practitioners?

Yahaya's lawyer
:: My Lord I vehemently reject the notion, the infantile insinuation that i willfully failed to comply with the undertaking.

If you will recalled my lord, the Effcc that comprises of gun thotting soldiers and police men had earlier failed to arrest my client in order to produce him in court, and have not been sanctioned for their failings

Is my learned colleague, suggesting, my Lord, that I procure the services of Kogi State Vigilante group or a Juju priest to capture my client ?

You nailed it bro. I keep on saying that these EFCC people have no loqus and they think it will be normal day. Truth is Yahaya Bello was a rich bloke before the office, that kind of money cannot be stolen from Kogi state. All that pastor of an EFCC man is after is to handcuff a man that is 10 times smarter. Quote me anytime, Bello will never allow himself to be cuffed.
tojahh:
The EFCC lawyer is playing.

You have a court order to arrest Yahaya Bello and you couldn't or wouldn't go arrest him, Yahaya Bello is still in Nigeria and the court order indicated his arrest anywhere seen. You can't arrest him but you want his lawyer to bring him to court for you. So his lawyer should tdo your job while you waste tax payers money running after yahoo boys. Now you want to dock his lawyer for failing to do what is termed your job.

Just dey play ineffective EFCC.

The real position here is that I am professionally a social researcher and I validate conclusions from the population I engage in my studies. I have been in Okene, Ajaokuta and Adavi for the past couple of days. Previously, I was in Ankpa, Dekina, Ijumu and Kabba Bunu. These milieu are comparatively the three senatorial districts inherent in Kogi state. All I am saying is Kogi state Fed allocation is about 3 to 4 Billion, multiply that by 8 years, deduct government runs and as yourself if that kind of amount can be stolen.

Eventually cars in the next generation will run electrically. On the flip side, are you from Kogi state? If you are very apt and smart as you tend to postulate, why is it that a common ex governor without a portfolio has been pointing out series of prosecutionary loopholes for the past 4 months against an agency that is supposed to be educated by all standards with seasoned financial detectives? It is clearly because that kind of money is not even present to steal in Kogi state. I don't like Yahaya Bello but his investment in good roads, healthcare (I mean, a modern Reference Hospital) and to some extent food security is commendable. Wherever you are pressing from, make sure your contents are real and correct.

Probably you will know there is a very tiny tribe in Nigeria less than the population of Kano metropolis and they are very excellent in the craft of unlocking mayhem when necessary. I am positive that these services are very much available in educationally advanced milieu. Don't get me twisted, in my view, I think Nigerian students, scholars and policy makers are might convey their ideas eloquently but writing them down for the sake of documention is time consuming to their endeavours. OP, I will suggest, you use the phrase "Research Assistant". It is a job that an average professional earns about $82,000 annually in the US and even more in the UK and UAE.
You help the lead researcher to write and avoid plagiarism and other content flaws including proofreading and editing. A lot of blokes do it here, even university professors etc.
For those attaching the OP, I seriously think you got him in the mix of indulging in fraudulent activity which in my book is not. He could have sold his trade more if he was able to engage in a little semantic overhaul.... "RESEARCH ASSISTANT".
