Thanks. He's the one that asked me why I stayed for 3 months and I responded. My reasons were genuine. Secondly, my brother got married to his wife here in Nigeria as she came down to marry him, and not the other way around and both went to the embassy for his visa.

The Swift Nomad (E5172s-920) only s 4G band 7(2600) & 40(2300mHz) so you can only use it for MTN, Swift & Spectranet; while Airtel mifi (E5573Cs-609) s 4G bands 3(1800mHz), and 40(2300mHz) so you can use it with Airtel, 9mobile, Ntel, Swift & spectranet.


You should renegotiate the price of the SIM. I was able to get the SIM & the merit plan for the price you're getting the SIM. Also, make sure whoever is selling the sim to you changes the details in the SIM to yours so they can't reset and leave the SIM useless, which is what a Nairalander (RebornHombre or so) did to me.
If you're buying a SIM, I recommend buying from a Swift agent directly.

In summary, I would recommend the first option, because you get to test the network in your area with it, and if it's not good enough, at least you can use the mifi with other networks.

Thanks for the suggestion. I still went ahead and bought the sim from the guy @ least I paid 4k sha. Once I got it, I changed , phone number, and email address so all my transactions are now being delivered to my email and phone. I got also the modem you suggested and it works well. I just sub for 3k swift promo to test the speed of and 2-3mb/'s with just 3 service bars is not bad @ my end. Thanks bro

OK guys who are Swift s, I need your honest advice. Which is preferable: Buying a used swiftsim for 5k, plus airtel 4g LTE modem compatible with the sim for 12k then swift promo data of 3k all for 20k OR brand new Swift nomad modem with 30gb for one month for 23k.

When you say schedule together as a family, you mean one profile can book for all others to in the appointment? My mom and I have interview next month and am added as a family member on her profile. On the appointment letter, only her details came up (ds 160 confirmation number, and via a fee) nothing regarding mine except my name. I have sent mails to ustraveldocs, no reply.

You can't come here seeking advice from people when you won't be honest with them just like how you were not honest with the VO before he/she granted your visa about being pregnant but you told them @ the point of entry you are. This forum is here to help those in need but honesty is excruciatingly important here. There's no time for dilly dallying. Best of luck in your future application.

This is the reason I keep hammering on applicants having separate profiles (even if the youngest is just a day old), whether they are booking appointment together or not. It is because of this kind of "future", you will now have to be doing so many unnecessary back and forth just to resolve something that may not have been an issue. Quite key!

I will call them tomorrow. The only thing there regarding me is appointment made by 'with my name'.My mom's MRV fee is there but mine is absent. I sincerely hope that they will not say book another one as i booked this since december last year.

I haven't said anything about bad energy. I am simply saying that it is very easy to lose confidence about your chances for a visa when you read about all the negative outcomes.

Besides, submitting your port via drop box does not guarantee you a visa, you could still be denied or called in for an interview. We've been reading the stories.

I think the US guys just want to know if the information they have about you is still valid and to check if you still meet the requirements for the NIV. Since you had successfully renewed your visa via Dropbox after spending three months, then I guess you shouldn’t have any problem during the interview. Mind you, question may come up as to why you spent that much time in the US, the onus is on you to defend that strongly because the VO May think you can repeat that when you are eventually issued another visa or decide to stay back.
