Your best bet is (text) or send 'DND' to 2442. DND means do not disturb. With this no adverts or promotions of any type will come to your phone. Whenever I hear a notification sound it can only be text from someone or bank alerts, nothing more. On the other side you can call customer service to report and they will tell you what to do. This is the second time I'm giving a response on Nairaland since i ed in 2008. I feel your pain. The abuse and insults allowed on the platform is too much and this is preventing beneficial contributors from getting involved in topics. Regards. 4 Likes |

Each time i read comments on this forum I feel taken aback by the level of ignorance and lack of decorum display my some (not all) contributors. Do we need to use abusive words? Many contribute in topics they know little about. Be holistic in your approach, remove sentiment so that many can learn. Thank you. 1 Like 2 Shares |

When will you change your mindset about your country? When will you start believing that something good can still come out of this country? That is patriotism. Nigeria will one day surprise the pessimists. I believe the time is close.

If you look at the memo very well, accreditations were transmitted because if you have an electronic smart card reader, there must be somewhere the results from such would end up, which has to be a server. But from what I have heard from INEC and the above memo, results were the main issues and not accreditations. There was nothing to suppose that results were sent electronically. This issue should be pursued to logical end. We should not allow Reno to deliberately confuse people with his biased and political sentiment. Nothing can divide this country not even those that are bent on ruling by all means. Please, let justice be done appropriately. Thank you. 4 Likes |

Hi guys, my comment is to keep people on the alert and not to raise any suspicion on anything. I like being objective in my dealings and there is no way I would have raised such issue if it never happened. When it comes to business never trust easily unless proven right. Similar thing hapened on monday with a dealer on VI. Don't be naive, let not your guard down in dealing with people like this. Immediately you suspect something, pause and ponder on it very well. A camry with rear light red white red can not likely be 2005 model and I was able to prove the guy wrong only in grammar, because I still could not see any 2003 anywhere on the car. All seat belts label gone, maybe only an expert can discover that. If you are buying a Nigerian used car, please call a mechanic to every claims because no CARFAX will be available to help. Thanks |

Why do people find it easy to lie about the year of manufacturing of vehicles they have for sale Is it because they consider Nairalanders as gullible or naive? For example, is it posssible for a Camry 2003 to be manufactured in 2005 when the difference are so obvious: The light, The steering wheel, the 5-Speed transmission to mension but few. I think we need to be truthful. The forum is about getting what you want easily not necassarily at an abnormally low price, but I mean getting what you want for as much as you have the what it takes to buy it. Cheating will not always pay in the end. Give correct data about your vehicles. It's a matter of integrity. |
