For me, forex trading is never about who is right or who is wrong... because its all ‘speculation’. No body, I repeat NO BODY knows what price is going to do,...not even ECB President can say how EUR would react exactly when he announces euro rate etc... (massive funds can shift price suddenly and abruptly ,...but it will still settle and price will eventually do what she wants).
Fundamentals / News events is not really my stronghold,... but i am always fascinated and thrilled listening to those who actually knows what’s happening behind the scene.. (thanks blackeurope)

I share my sentiments, not with a view of being right or wrong,...is just me, ‘thinking out loud’. Not for validation or otherwise

I drop by here from time to time,...because i always grab useful hints/tools that always adds towards making me a better person (better trader)... I’m here primarily for what i will learn, if in the process, someone else pick a hint from my comments, (good for him).

Pls, lets not always be on the lookout for who is wrong or who is right,...it has no place in forex.

GU has been acting weird since last week,...in the sense that it has been pretty much rising same time the US Dollar index rises...(which could only imply one thing, other currencies crosses are ‘buying’ GBP, hence it wasn’t affected / driven by the USD rise. (Just as EU has been on steady decline because the USD rise has been the ‘driver’)

I have been expecting an explosive move in GU,...but wasn’t just sure of the direction,...hence i stayed away from it.

And this rise,...just confirms that GBP is strong now,...and it will only climb higher when USD losses steams and starts to drop...(fundamentalist are forecasting around mid march) *fingers crossed*

See the way these guys rushed to rubbish Tekno’s name for song / content theft while smartly leaving the Ciara out.

And the annoying thing is that both Tiwa and Mavin were duely acknowledged...so i believed due process was followed prior to sampling of Tiwa’s song (Before nko)...so who says she is upset? And why is she upset?

I was clearing up my photo folder when i stumbled on this screen grab...(which i posted here last month, USDZAR) ie photo 1.

So I quickly rush to check how the pair played out,..(because i exited after netting few pips) with regards to my predictions. Ie photo 2.

And i can’t stop ‘slapping myself’ since morning.

I need more and more patience and a little bit of confidence... anyways, its all good...its a pointer that I’m on the right track.

Honestly forex is difficult.
It will test your patience to the last.
Imagine, my EURAUD of over 130pips is reduced to less than 40pips.
Im still holding it. It hasnt gone beyond my plan for it.
However I kinda hedged that position (EURAUD) with AUDNZD sell.
the AUDNZD is returning some pips. I will close or hold it for some time.
Also, I have EURNZD buy which is half way to my TP.

Forex ehhh!! Stretching my patience!!!

Again it all depends on ur strategy,... but no way can they take back that much pips from me.... I will take what its given,...then wait and watch. The fox is very cunning.

Wow,.. I’m seeing lots of ‘CJs charts’ everywhere... thats good *thumbs up*

I’m still stuck on trading M15 charts,(intra day- 50pips profits)....and the results are amazing so far... will soon be graduating to trading the 3-5day cycles, because i keep seeing these cycles,...but yet to develop the mental strength to let my profits run above 50pips.

For the newbies,... pls start with a demo, forex isn’t going anywhere, it ll still be here when you develop the necessary strategy.

I dont know what BARF means but this is my setup.

...well in summary,(on a lower timeframe H4) i expect couple of pushes to the upside (forming ‘M’ ‘H’ ‘pinbars’ etc) then a drop back to the trendline (@ least)

Final confirmation will be the gradual decrease in volume while all this plays out,...

If you know what BARF is,... you might wanna keep an eye on this pair..(though exotic, about 4pips spread)... but the R:R is reasonably good.

From GBPCHF 1hr above, there is a trendline break. Most probably, the bulls are having and maybe we should get ready for buys.

As long as there are things to learn (forex), im never gonna preclude myself from it.
There's been so much mention about Captain Chest here.
I decided to research him. From what Iv seen, his trades are legendary.
Wouldnt be bad if I or anyone learns how he picks his trade.
I have been able to get in touch with him.
He has his own public forum and then a public live chat room.
ed with his forum, found the link to his live chat on stride.
Posted a trade I took, asked him about the trade.
He seem to be very responsive to inquiries.

After making this post asking for a link to the mentioned write up,.. i did a search online, and what i stumbled upon was mind blowing...(series of post of captain jack naked trading)...both on FF and stevenhopwood.

I’ve been trading for more than a year now(have blown numerous s/millions of naira) but last month (May) was my most profitable month yet...(over 2500pips) profit...because someone taught me something that involves trading with just naked chats without any indicators,...and flipping through pages of CJ comments and post,...its was like unraveling the mystery behind what i learnt recently.

Have been on Nairaland for years now, but have never visited any other section except for main page , family and auto...yet I can’t say what pushed me to business section and this thread yesterday,....hence my hearing of CJ and naked trading..lol. (The Lord walks in mysterious ways)

Thanks all,... for the good post/and directions you offer here, you never know who benefits from them...(this is by far, the most beneficial stuff have seen on Nairaland)

@ Op, i guess you’re not based in Nigeria, otherwise this request of yours is no big deal,...(you don’t t even need coming to a faceless forum to seek for willing partners)

There are single ladies that ll be willing to take such offers,...so don’t be discouraged by the insults here,..its all part of what you get on Nairaland.

I ll advise, that you seek for such partners outside Nairaland,..and make it a priority to meet / make as many female friends as you can when next you’re in Nigeria,... trust me, you ll be amazed by the number of those willing to take your offer.
