I bought my sumec firman 2.5kva just after covid lock down...up till now no issue...I do service it myself.change oil,clean airfilter and the spark plug has been cleaned twice.still using same plug..the noise could be fair,petrol consumption is good depending on load. Very solid gen..I would advice you buy from authorised dealers .thanks
