My application is over 2months now.

In addition to what have been said, I would suggest you get
1.Reference letter from your employer.
2.Study leave approval which will state your leave have been approved, with the start date and expected date you are to resume work. It should also state you would be paid a certain percentage of your salary every month for the duration of your study leave to tuition expenses.
Also your proposed position and expected salary per annum after your studies in Australia.
I believe this can also prove more tie home.

As at when I got the cover I selected a month before my start date(e.g 1st August) and additional 1 month after my course end date.

Which agency are you using please?
If you can get your OSHC before then please do and insist they lodge in your application immediately.
I don’t know why these agents deprive joy in delaying application.
I am also going to UNSW and I lodge my Visa application since 20th April which is over 2 months. I paid for my OSHC and got it immediately because payment was made over there.
This is the little I know, I hope it helps.

I need a clarification on the following:

My CoE was sent to me this morning by UNSW, i reached out to my agent for Visa application process to be initiated.

She said since my start date is 11th September that I'll have to select August when making payment for my OSHC and also, wait till August for my OSHC to be ready before filling the online visa form.

I want to know if that's how it works considering my intake as September or can I go ahead and pay for the OSHC right away?

I recently got my visa grant on Jan 31st. Institution of study is at UNSW. I earlier recommended Expert Education and Visa Services. They saw me through the process after my sch requested I nominate an agent for GTE statement. They also processed my visa.
Visa lodged on Dec 30th
Medicals on Jan 15th
Biometrics on Jan 16th
Visa granted on Jan 31st.

Yes. I submitted my IELTS result during my application.

Their timeline wasn't really stressful because I followed it up with calls.

While my agent was dealing with them, I sometimes call the school directly and get response on the state of my application
