Yes study permit application. Was my second application. I have gone through the forms I submitted and I can confirm that I did not apply for ETA. I had an active USA visa at the time of applying for the Canada study permit.

Nope I didnt. That's why its confusing to me too. I ed my kids USA ports though. Dont know if that had any role in this error.

Hello house, trust we are all keeping safe. Please I need your opinion. Today makes my application 7 weeks old, which is the TAT on Canada website for processing Nigerian applications. Early march my medical changed to ed, after some time, it changed back to we do not need any medical at the moment story. I was planning on sending ing the Kenya team today for update. However, yesterday I received my BVL.
What does this mean and will you advise that I should still send them an email for update on my application?

Hello Chikaima18,

With the presented profile, financial status is good and your social home ties checks out good too. However, I don't think the issue came from your proposed course/program of study. In fact it correlates very much with your UG course. The thing to consider and the question to ask yourself was how did or were you able to relate your proposed course of study to your self-development rather than a career advancement since you already have 5yrs of experience in a different field. This boils down to how your study plan was detailed with the needed explanatory information. Same thing happened to the additional reasons.

This time around, do well to clarify how your intended course would advance your career since it relates with your work experience. Do well to state why you need such advancement at this point in time. Your kids don't need visa to enter Canada as US citizens. Also, Your EE won't affect you applying via another . It is best advised to include an SOP/LOE to provide better clarity about your proposed academic intention. It should be convincing and address any given concerns.

Good day bosses. Greetings to everyone that has been contributing their quota in the group.

Please I need the opinion of the house as I prepare my application. I applied for study Visa in 2017 and was delayed, I have attached my gcms note for the reason. I studied public relations for my first degree, was working in the financial industry for 5 years as at the time of my first application. I applied for Visa with ission for Masters in Public relations. I was denied for no relationship between intended course and academic background and employment history.

Now, I want to apply again, this time for MBA program. I am married with kids. Hubby and I built my own acc overtime so as to apply as self sponsor. Tuition fee for my program is 31,000cad, no funding. I have 12m naira in my salary for the Visa. My sister will make a one time payment of 7,500cad for the first semester fee with a letter to back it up.

My last child will be 2 years by July next year and I am planning to apply by February alone before applying for my husband and kids. I have also been in the Express entry pool but my score has been low, hence my trying school route once more. I cannot the details for the express entry and I hope this will not be an issue having an express entry acc and applying for study Visa with another .
Please I will appreciate if the house will vet my application and advise on what to do and not to do in this case.
Should I include both SOP and LOE?
I have most of the documents that people list on this page but will appreciate if there are most important documents I should know of.

Am so sorry for the long epistle but please advise if you can.

I recently entered the pool, woke up this morning to see a notification of email. Checked email and saw you are no longer eligible to be in the pool. I don't even understand what happened. I was eligible before and all of a sudden. Killed my spirit but reading this your post, am a little motivated.

Until you turn 30 you won't need any points from your husband if you have a masters degree, you'll easily cross crs 450.

You can complete a masters degree With noun latest by January 2020 if you start now. Your family would have been in Canada already if you had started a masters degree in 2016.

Score was 8.5, 8, 7 and 7.5 but expiring this month.
Hubby didn't write the exam.
No relative in Canada.
Actually started a course with Noun but some events happened along the way

Do you have additional qualifications asides from Bàchelors?
What was your IELTS score?
Did your husband write IELTS too?
Has any of your siblings (or husband's siblings) relocated to Canada between then and now?
These are all means of improving the scores. That advice is right but it's a very long road. Very very long road.
If you had started a postgraduate diploma since 2016, you would be rounding off by now. Also, your IELTS would be expiring soon, try aiming for even higher scores this time and encourage hubby to take the exams too.
Also consider undertaking a one year diploma.

I applied for student visa last year and was denied. Got the Ontario PNP but didn't see the email on time. Just wondering if removing him would be the best bet but I didn't know about the long processing time for spouse.

Btw, have you exhausted the PNP option and have you considered Masters option or taking up French? Those are options that can increase your points.

That friend may be right. I'd advise you use the CRS calculator to try different combinations e.g you applying with spouse UNaccompanying.... What's the breakdown of your IELTS-LSWR?

Good morning everyone.
A friend referred me to this page. Please i need advise and guide from the house.
I have been in he express entry pool since 2016 but my score has been 406. Am married with kids and I am the primary applicant. My husband stopped at junior secondary school and so has no certificate for me to claim points with.
I had aced my ielts on my first sitting and am 28 years so I got the high points on this part.
A friend advised me to remove my husband from my application and first apply for myself and my kids and when I get the visa I can now apply for my husband.
Please does any one have any experience on this and please advise me if i should go this way.
