My people, God has done it! I am finally free from the shackles of IELTS:-the humbler of men.

I saw my result today while at work and I broke down in tears. Ahh, God is soooo good.

After paying for IELTS 6 times and sitting for the exam 4 times, I finally made it on the 5th exam attempt.

LRWS =9,8,7,8.

Honestly, I dont know how to thank my Jesus. People please in your prayers tonight, just say 'Thank You' to God on my behalf.

Congrats to everyone celebrating one thing or the other, it will all end in praise. Thank you Nairalanders! Although I am a silent reader, I always come to Nairaland whenever I feel depressed about the IELTS and I am always comforted by the comments I read. I also got some materials like Liz tutorials, from this platform. I was also advised on the strategy to ace Listening (which was my major challenge) from this platform.

That’s the spirit. But preparation is key. Take your time to prepare well before writing your first IELTS exam since ECA is pending.
Don’t make the mistake I did. I was so scared of the exam that I concentrated so much on it without commencing my ECA. I eventually ed in my first attempt. Now my ECA is just hanging there while my next birthday is just stirring and laughing at me. It’s good you have started your ECA first.

Thanks for the tips.....I have been preparing quite well, I think the reason for the fear is the financial Involvement. 75k is quite a large spread innit?
