Just two years into their launch, Instant funding has gained thousands of forex traders and given out thousands of dollars organizing trading competitions. However, the number of discounts they offer is becoming ridiculous. From years of experience in the prop firm industry, when a prop firm is about to shut down, they begin to offer a series of discounts to lure traders into their firm for the final money heist.

Another valid point is that they share a very similar website look with Smart prop trader that recently shut down its operations. Just to be safe, it is best you only trade with industry standard prop firms. You can check out some of the best prop firms to use in Nigeria.

Lark Funding

Similar to Instant Funding, Lark Funding began its operations in late 2022 and has since gotten a good number of forex traders using their products. Lark Funding recently added a new model which allows traders to become funded instantly without the need to any challenge.

One issue I have with Lark Funding is their current promotional offer which is “Buy 1 and get 2 free”. The moment a prop firm begins such a promotional campaign, you should flee as far as possible. No serious prop trading firm will offer such a promotion unless they plan on shutting down soon. For example, Deifunded began the whole “BOGO” which means “Buy one get one free” and after that campaign, they shut down. As a newbie forex trader seeking to make money from the financial market, you should completely avoid firms with such generous offers.

Goat Funded Trader

This festive period, Goat Funded Trader ed the “BOGO” bandwagon and it is all suspicious. Aside from the fact that there are numerous complaints about Goat Funded Trader, starting a “BOGO” offer makes it a whole lot worse. While they may or may not be fraudulent, it is only best if you use other prop firms that do not constantly dish out such generous offers.

Starter Prop Trader

Starter prop trader is less than a year old in the prop firm business. There are so many shady things associated with this forex prop firm. First of all, from their incredibly insane challenge prices, to their constant discount, it is all shades of SCAM. As a growing business, constantly giving out discounts will only cripple your business. This new year, they are giving out 40% discounts on all their challenge s and that is a big red flag.

For starters, their $10k is at $19 that means with a 40% discount, one will pay approximately $11. As far as the prop firm industry is concerned, a new prop firm that behaves in such manner will shut down sooner or later. Therefore, Starter prop trader should be avoided alongside other prop firms listed.

To be honest, big firms like FTMO, The5ers have never and will likely never make a “BOGO” offer unless of course, they plan on shutting down after making so much money from the sales they get.

In conclusion, it is best to use prop firms that are less likely to abscond after amassing a large amount of money.
