I want to ask how many hysteroscopy must one do before achieving a positive result
I don't understand I have done 4 already
A doctor is recommending the 5th one, and he not sounding like it will end there
PF Surulere Lagos did three, I'm still having serious back pain, they said theirs is for adhesion, PF milked us dry and their IVF still failed
I have still not recovered from the trauma
Now new doctor sis saying where they will place the embryo has fluid and some pockets, hence any IVF will fail and that the treatment may take up to 3 or 6 months
Because is trying to work on the uterus so the ivf process will be successful, but he said if after all the treatment the uterus is still not good for the IVF process he won't do it. When I asked him initially if the procedure will work he said yes, that it's his job
The first time I saw him he did scan, he did not say anything about fluid or pockets, what he said was blood not flowing to some side of the uterus, he asked me to take 6 tablets daily of progynova immediately and see him day 14 of my cycle to check for improvement, I asked if the med will not stop my menses, It was supposed to start the next day, he no lo and beyond, no menses, told him he said no problem I should still see him on the said date

I don't want to go through any uncertainty process hence my dilemma

Couldn't sleep because I am troubled again, I don't know if it's normal. I have been taking serrapeptase and doing the castor oil massage since on the 4th of this month, period started yesterday instead of 26th that I was expecting it and it just flows a little yesterday, now it has stopped. Just one day
I did not stop taking the serrapeptase and doing castor oil massage when the period started because I heard it increases the flow, but instead the flow and duration is worse than last month. Not encouraging at all

A mama suggested that I should take four serrapeptase a day, I went through the old thread some people took 6, 8 and even 10 a day, because they said the higher the dose the more it will work faster and better
I went as far as taking 10 and doing the castor oil massage twice a day on empty stomach
I am confused did I do anything wrong
Please help 🙏

The psychological and emotional trauma, even mentally, it wasn't easy still not, you know when somebody told you there's no hope, your only option is surrogacy after collecting huge amount of money from you. Recovery from that is not going to be easy. I told the doctor that attended to me because Dr Omishakin refused to see us saying he is very busy, I know he must have seen us through the CCTV camera

Please be strong Mama! These guys are becoming something else, probably because of the volume of work they're trying to cope with but it's definitely not an excuse. We had almost similar experience from them earlier this year. After going forth and back with multiple hysteroscopy and co. for almost a year and finally they said we should proceed and lo and behold it went negative! Their costumer service is almost zero then, the worst is that they seem to be more interested in the money because there was no sign of empathy from them, [in fact the cost doubled within our cycle:- dollar palava(when we came and when we were cleared to proceed fully)]. ... it's Negative! ...you need to re-cycle... This is the amount....bla bla bla... And we were like, do you guys know the stress and strain, one had undergone, at least a place like that should understand the psychological and emotional trauma that happens during a failed cycle, it was lacking then, although I don't know of now, we actually got their good reviews from this thread before we went then. But what can one do, more so this is Nigeria and everyone is OYO. Please focus on recovery yourself at this time, be there for each other (DH and DW), don't do blame game. You need God guidance on your next step to take. I pray God will strengthen you both and grant your heart desires for you and all the TTC family in Jesus name Amen 🙏

So sorry for the failed procedure. Do a change of hospital when you want to try again, look towards Abuja ; they have the best success stories so far. Also , calm down and prepare your body for the next one .

My bundle of joy is beside me after 5 cycles @age 45. It's not too late .

it is possible to achieve IVF conception with intra uterine adhesion but it depends on the severity of the adhesion, I asked because of the number of time it was carried out.

You can get serrapeptase from jiji or jumia. There is a seller on nairaland too (tripplettwins). Buy a higher spu depending on your pocket, start with one capsule a day so as to develop tolerance then you can increase it to up to 3 or 4. Sorry once more about your house.
If you can get castor oil, rub it in your pelvic region and massage well. If you have a hot water bottle place it over a towel and allow the heat enter your pelvic region. If not just rub the oil and massage.

It's difficult to see a doctor that will allow you
use your egg due to age factor. I still recommend using a donor. They don't even use donors above 26 years now.

They did not give me any reason why it failed..all they keep saying is sorry..my husband doesn't want surrogacy that they won't use my egg
I had to beg him for donor egg IVF..he didn't want that either
We have tried to raise money for years but couldn't..we tried leasing because of the location no one was interested
Will the adhesion hinder the IVF process?
After the third hysteroscopy the hospital said everything is set for Ivf..after the transfer I did not feel anything or symptoms for the whole two weeks of waiting

so sorry mama. Just take a break, don't do IVF under pressure, selling your own house for IVF wasn't a good idea, you could have leased or rented it out. Did the IVF failed as a result of the adhesion?
The money you have currently can't get you a surrogate, if you intend using yourself please take serrapeptase for like one month before the transfer.

Take it to God in prayers too, age will not stop what God is about to do for you.

Before the IVF they did 3 hysteroscopy for adhesion and I am still having severe back pain from the procedure..they said everything is ok that they can now go ahead with the IVF
Now they gave me option to get back to them in 2 week
Surrogacy or another hysteroscopy and try another IVF without guarantee that it will work
All we have now is 2m.. what can we do with it am in Lagos 43 years please help I have lost hope

Have you considered doing a hysteroscopy, that's the best way to know the state of your womb, endometrium and cervix. If possible, please use a fertility hospital/fertility specialist so you can get a more precise diagnosis and way forward. stenosis can be treated so do not lose faith. Since you are in Lagos, you can find quite a number of specialists and different price points. praying for you..... lots of baby dusts

We need to start opening our eyes to all the options out there. TTC is a complex matter, one has to consider IUI, IVF, and surrogacy depending on what is going on.
My friend and her hubby wanted 3 kids, first child nearly took her life - Pre-eclampsia , 3 years after birth she still has some health issues shes battling with, Then her hubby started talking about trying again, I advised them to try surrogacy luckily they listened and I helped them find a surrogate mother. today they have 3 kids and she only carried one herself and shes alive to train and nurture her children.

No it not only scanty it's comes at intervals like the last one started in the morning scanty but it was constant stopped in the evening totally started the morning of the next day by dropping small blood and the whole of that day it will come for one hour stop for 2hours until it stopped somewhere in the evening. Can I do hormonal profile with this pattern?
I don't even know if it will come this month

The one for April is just from morning till 6pm that same day. Where I am in Lagos there is no good Hospital. Just one general hospital that all they know how to do is CS. My story is very long

Got married 2018 as I am typing I am crying asking God why did he create me because nothing good has happened in my entire life
Now I can't get pregnant.. first it was fibroid nothing I did or took work from Metformin clomid to letrozole to follicular tracking finally I said let me do the fibroid surgery so that will be out of the way. I did the surgery in march last year
Now no menses since Oct. A pelvic scan I did say closed cervix
I know that people are going through alot here but mine is too much from one bad news to another no break my husband is even tired
I have asked him to go and marry another wife
Because I don't see myself getting pregnant talkless of giving birth
I don't eat or sleep properly. I am just empty inside
