I noticed a mistake on my Transcript, the transcript was printed on the day I picked it up, I was in the school, waited almost all day before it was finalized and handed over to me.

Unfortunately I didn't bother to check it. My biometric is scheduled for Monday and while ing my documents, I noticed that the date on my transcript is reading 27th January 2024 instead of 27th January, 2025 that it was printed.

I needed serious advice on what to do please.

Thank you, Yes you are right. Perhaps it also depends on how much they’ve submitted in their bank statement.

My older sister also applied last year when I had baby. After two refusals and I followed all the guidelines here she cleaned up her statement for 6 months and was also approved in Feb24.

Please, for my ds160, I currently work as a senior carer in the UK having completed my masters in business istration..I am going for an MBA in the USA and I'm expecting the VO to ask me questions like, why another masters in business, I intend saying my masters in the UK was fully theoretical and the MBA is with a specialization in information technology which focuses on the technological side of the business, as my company is looking to expand to north eastern part of England and this degree will better prepare me to head the IT department.
Or, I should just fill in the DS160 that I work as a logistics manager, which was my job while in Nigeria.
Pls help me.

F1: I am going to university of maryland, college park to pursue a Masters in Fine Art, I will be majoring in Painting. - Immediate I mentioned Master in Fine Art, she replied Okay, before I was able to stretch it to my major - Painting.
*I realised she wants direct answers*

VO: Who is covering your deficit? checking through her system.

F1: I don't have a deficit as I have been awarded a full funding - Graduate Assistantship which covers my living expenses and health insurance. *immediately she responded Okay* and checks my I-20.

VO: Have you traveled out of the country before.

F1: Yes, I have. I have been to Bleep for my work program, I have also been to Bleep for work program as well, then she cuts me by her OKAY.

VO: What is your post study plan

F1: Upon the completion of my program to I will be returning to my country to transit into the academia while I take the role of a lecturer in the department of fine Art at Bleep University, where I will be teaching university students art and its contemporary practices.
I will also be coming back to expand my studio practice back home (before I could proceed, she said OKAY)

VO: Tell me about your academic background

F1: I have a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in History, and after my graduation I enrolled for an internship under Bleep art studio where I learnt how to paint and draw because of my ion for Art. (she cuts me Okay). Then you are not qualified for this student visa at this moment.

Notes: She asked a question after the first one which I cannot . But I stuttered at first, before gaining my balance. My response was tying what the degree will do for me back home. I I talked about taking a lecturing position.

Maybe I was anxious at first, I don't know. But I understand I answered every question.

You enrolled in a bleep studio for an internship where you learnt painting.

She didn't allow you explain your years of work experience. If u have any.

She assumed you just learnt painting and no work experience.

Just try and apply again.

I highlighted your problem in a nutshell. Your bachelor's degree was in History, but you are seeking a master's in Painting? How do those go together? You've essentially abandoned your first degree and only stumbled on your love for painting when you ed an internship. Yeah, you didn't prove that you were a genuine student.

Even me that has little to no knowledge of this F1 visa thingy totally agrees with you...

He said he learnt how to paint in a bleep studio.
That is different from having some years of work experience in painting. However, I feel the VO is just being her usual self... atleast would have allowed him explain further in details.

Even though people have been complaining about that VO, that's enough ground to deny...just work on that and reapply.

@Castro9371 You are still hiding some information but let me answer you in general term.

1. The MBA you are going For in the USA regardless of your concentration must be borne out of a new desire by you or your employer to improve and broaden your business managerial skills based on the fact that your current business (es) or position at work etc, needs such academic move as an exigency.

2. You must also prove ties to the UK or country of origin and ability to offset your remaining deficit without doubt before any consular can take your visa application serious. Consulars will concentrate on your reasons for MBA and post study plans not just having the resources to do so.

Worcester(MBA)
Bradford (management)

So far I got ission from uni of Worcester(MBA) 11k fee and from Bradford(management) 12700k fee.

Pls anyone has an idea on which is preferable. based on friendly environment, cost of living, easy access to jobs based on the course I’ve applied for.

I will really appreciate your input as I’m expected to pay my fees this week.

In 2016, I applied for UK visit Visa but was refused in filng the application then, I stated that I was married and did arrangee nikkai wedding certificate using my sister picture and my niece as my wife and kid. Till now I'm not married but I have a fiancee

Fast forward, they are already in the US (their third year) now I have gotten my ission letter and want to pay my deposit this week. My questions is,

1. Should I declare that I'm still married or fill single there in my application?

2. When filing for my fiancee, will that affect her?

You can say you are single. If by chance you were asked during the interview, tell them you are a divorcee now. As for filing for your fiancee, is that even possible when you guys are not married?
