http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2012/01/22/george-soros-on-the-coming-u-s-class-war.print.html George Soros is no stranger to Blaze readers. The billionaire currency speculator and philanthropist has long been in the news, especially since the fateful day in 1992 when he helped crash England’s economy. In fact, since that day, he has been commonly referred to as “the man who broke the bank of England.” Soros is shrewd, he has a keen eye for investments, and he knows how to play the markets. Therefore, when he makes a prediction, it might be safe to say it’s worth a listen. After all, his predictions (among other things) have made him the multi-billionaire he is today. So you might want to pay attention to a recent story from The Daily Beast that claims George Soros is nervous about the future of the global economy and that he warns of dark things to come. “At times like these, survival is the most important thing,” Soros said. As he sees it, the world faces one of the most dangerous periods of modern history—a period of “evil,” writes the Beasts’ John Arlidge. “Europe is confronting a descent into chaos and conflict. In America [Soros] predicts riots in the streets that will lead to a brutal clampdown that will dramatically curtail civil liberties [emphases added]. The global economic system could even collapse altogether.” And to add a little color, Aldridge notes Soros says it all while “peering through his owlish glasses and brushing wisps of gray hair off his forehead.” “I am not here to cheer you up. The situation is about as serious and difficult as I’ve experienced in my career,” Soros told Newsweek. “We are facing an extremely difficult time, comparable in many ways to the 1930s, the Great Depression. We are facing now a general retrenchment in the developed world, which threatens to put us in a decade of more stagnation, or worse. The best-case scenario is a deflationary environment. The worst-case scenario is a collapse of the financial system.” 1 Like |

I paid him 20k for the VIP programme that he is selling. I am supposed to get the site after 72hours. BUT the 72 hours has turned to 2 weeks and switching of phones. He uses 2 phones and some other gimicks to deceive people. I will show the methods he uses - which lookj genuine and harmless and he even engages Religious Lingos. I need more replies before I reveal this wicked acts of a callous minded individual who has almost reached his target of defrauding 50 people. |

Please change the Title of this thread back to what it was. This just shows how BIASED the MODs are. This nairaland is a FORM of e-journalism , on which I expect the MODs to stand as umpire in the Thread game and not skew the Thread to their personal whims!!!!

There are many wonderful things from his newsletters: His experience from a frustrated worker to an Internet ClickBank/Google Adsense Multimillionaire, the length, the 72-hours(now 48 hrs) delivery period, the multitude of testimonials from .different part of the country, the genuineness that covers the whole VIP Program(ClickBank/Google Adsense), he is currently promoting e.t.c I paid for the program and I got what I paid for. Let me get your response and PART 2 of how I got the VIP program from Micheal Nwabor/ Caleb 2 will be REVEALED!!! |

Banquet Speech Wole Soyinka's speech at the Nobel Banquet, December 10, 1986 Your Majesties, Ladies and Gentlemen, It was inevitable that the Nordic world and the African, especially that part of it which constitutes the Yoruba world - should meet at the crossroads of Sweden. That I am the agent of such a symbolic encounter is due very simply to that my creative Muse is Ogun, the god of creativity and destruction, of the lyric and metallurgy. This deity anticipated your scientist Alfred Nobel at the very beginning of time by clearing a path through primordial chaos, dynamiting his way through the core of earth to open a route for his fellow deities who sought to be reunited with us, mortals. I covered that event for my publishers - well, taking a few poetic licences, naturally - under the title IDANRE. You may have run into that reportage which has been translated into Swedish under the title, OGUN SKUGGA. If you have not, I recommend that you proceed to the nearest bookseller for this piece of pre-history which makes Ogun, very definitively, the progenitor of your great inventor, Alfred Nobel. I urge this especially because, if you happened to take a casual walk through the streets, or peer into the hotel lobbies of Stockholm, you might get the impression that my nation, Nigeria, has tried to solve some of its many problems by shifting half its population surreptitiously to Sweden. I assure you, however, that they have merely come to satisfy a natural curiosity about the true nationality of this inventor. For they cannot understand why their Ogun should have transferred such a potent secret to a Swede rather than to his Yoruba descendants. The mountains of Sweden are a tempting habitat for this deity, we know, but the Swedish winter and long midnights are hardly congenial to his temperament. And while the local acqua-vitae might help to infuse some warmth into his tropical ts, we do know that he tends to stick to his favourite palm wine. Some day, I suppose, we will unravel this mystery. In the meantime, however, we will content ourselves with saluting the vision which made our presence here today a positive event, since it was Alfred Nobel's hope that the humanistic conversion, even of the most terrible knowledge, can improve the quality of life for mankind. That also is the lesson of Ogun, that essence of the warring duality of human nature. And we in the endeavour that the lyric face of that demiurge will triumph in our time, snaring for all time that elusive bird - peace - on our planet earth. From Les Prix Nobel. The Nobel Prizes 1986, Editor Wilhelm Odelberg, [Nobel Foundation], Stockholm, 1987 |

violent:@violent, I concur with U. @deenee has gone off track on the fundamental point of this thread: an MD issuing Prayer(curse) on non-performing staff. The poster has identified(from the thread topic) that there is an issue of non-performance; irrespective of reasons for non-performance. BUT why issue a curse/threat?. Why speak unprofessional words. The emotional trauma that this statement will put some staff through is unbearable. Some staff of the bank will have their BP shot up by 50% with that kind of news. You know how the economic situation is, in Nigeria. Comparing the Financial industry environment in Nigeria and wherever you(deenee) are is a discussion for another day. When you get to a position of leadership, your words become more weighty, you must therefore choose them carefully. E.g, Even though I will like to borrow interest free-money through Islamic banking, if I say, " Islamic Banking is a crazy idea" ; I will not raise so much dust. But let GEJ by chance utter the same words even among some friends and you will see the repercussion all-over the nation. Leaders must tread carefully in WORD USAGE both in private and public. Thank U! |

A man who cannot when he killed the ‘I blew and the next thing I I’m standing over Jo and she’s bleeding… I just don’t know what happened. That portion is a blank to me.’ It started as resentment, grew to anger, moved up to disdain and plateaued at Murder-contemplation WHERE Satan Came in and TOOK CONTROL of his God-given mind. From there it was a Journey of no return! ALWAYS "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 ALWAYS & CONSCIOUSLY SUBMIT yourselves to GOD and YOUR MIND WILL BE SECURED FROM EVIL TENDENCIES |

The world bank has warned that Naira will devalue because of depletion of Foreign Reserve. In less than 4 months Naira has devalued to N160/$1. By YE2011 , Naira would have fallen to N200/$1. GEJ is fighting INFLATION, DEFLATION instead of pursuing PRICE STABILITY. Nigeria had experienced something similar in times past and it is the "weeping" Buhari that fixed it during his military era. Buhari is weeping because of what he sees ahead. When you start buying a loaf of bread for N2000 before GEJ finishes his tenure in 2015(assuming he is successfully RIGGED IN), then you will all see the folly of voting GEJ/PDP. Get ready for ZIMBABWE EXPERIENCE, if you vote GEJ/PDP. NIGERIANS!!!!!, IN THE INTEREST OF YOUR FUTURE AND TO FORESTALL THE ZIMBABWE OR OLD GHANA EXPERIENCE , VOTE BUHARI ALL THE WAY |
