Nobody use NBAIS to study secular course except Arabic and Islamic Course.

I don't know why Christians always have headache over things that have nothing to do with them.!

So many Christians theological schools are d to Nigerian Universities, have you ever seen Muslims crying foul. Some don't even require SCCE or whatever to enter

Several theological schools in Nigeria are d with Nigerian universities.

These include institutions like the ECWA Theological Seminary Igbaja, Baptist College of Theology, and the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary.

Many of these schools offer programs leading to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees in theology.

Additionally, schools like the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Theological Seminary and the SS Peter and Paul Seminary have affiliations with Nigerian universities.
Here's a more detailed list:

d Theological Schools:
ECWA Theological Seminary Igbaja: d with several universities, including the University of Ibadan.

Baptist College of Theology: d with Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary: d with the University of Ibadan and the University of Ilorin.

Theological College of Northern Nigeria: d with the University of Jos.

WATS: d with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Bigard Memorial Seminary: d with the University of Ibadan.

Archbishop Vining College of Theology: d with the University of Ibadan.

Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Theological Seminary: d with the University of Ibadan.

UMCATC: d with the University of Ibadan and the University of Ilorin.

SS Peter and Paul Seminary: d with the University of Ibadan.

Immanuel College of Theology and Christian

Education: d with the University of Ibadan.

Dominican Institute: d with the University of Ibadan.

Life Theological Seminary: d with the University of Ibadan.

Redeemed Christian Bible College: d with the University of Ibadan

It's good to read that you mentioned the word 'd'. They do not study on the campuses of their mothering institutions, rather, the theology schools and seminaries have a separate campus. Their certificate only shows that their school is d to those institutions.
I do not know how true this is but if institutions that are not ed as religious institutions accept Islamic studies in lieu to WAEC, NECO etc ,and they study these courses in a secular university...then, we are light years away from getting things right.

The truth is that if anyone dies now with any sin, they are going straight to hell; whether they are sinners or believers. But if you accept Jesus Christ and repent before dying or before rapture, you will make heaven. Someone's last state before they die or before rapture, determines their going to heaven. And going to heaven requires no sin in you at your last state on earth .

This is not true. When you give your life to Christ, you receive the grace to live above sins and temptations by the instrument of the Holy Spirit. Your sins, however, are not counted against you. Just don't remain in that state. You need constant renewal.
The thief on the right hand of Jesus died without works and he qualified for heaven just by believing.
It is not possible, as humans, to live without falling. Our most righteous form is like a filthy rag to a God who finds faults in angels and charges them with folly (Job 4:18). Every day, we commit sins, transgression or iniquities. How many do we to ask forgiveness on, if at all we are able to realize that we have sinned each time? Christians will be judged, yes! But it is not to condemnation. Their works will be judged for reward or not. Galatians 3 shed more light on not trying to run the redemption race with the energy of the flesh. As Christians, we have received the righteousness of God through faith in Christ, (Romans 3:22, Romans 5:17), the one who is the fulfillment of the law and the prophets. Our total redemption was perfected when He finished the work on the cross.

I see nothing wrong with this. If you want to run a church get a premises and follow the correct procedure. In the developed world do you see churches inside residential houses? Nigerias simply hate following the law

Inasmuch as this is true, these Muslims, being the chief ab of public rules, shouldn't be the ones making this law.
You need to see how major roads, including highways are blocked on Fridays, in the name of prayers. Irrespective of who you are, or wether you are coming with an ambulance or not, you must wait until they finish their prayers

The school management did well enough to sack the teacher before she was arrested. They would have totally cleared their name and integrity by getting her arrested by themselves, however, they did the right thing by relieving her of her post.

In my opinion, the man shouldn't have reacted like that. Would he have preferred to hear that one faceless guy has been camping his daughter? I'd rather talk to my daughter. Let me know your friends so I can guide you right. Don't secretly endanger yourself out of fear of your father

How many Ogunians can afford a bus fare from Lagos to Ogun state? Talk MORE of buying a flight ticket.

Most of the population of Ogun state do not have that disposable income such as to afford a flight ticket. I know what I'm talking about.

This so called airport will hardly see 100 engers in 4 months period this is not like Anambra Airport, Imo, Enugu and Asaba airport- including Omagwa airport in Port Harcourt that sees a high patronage from their people as a result of high disposable income.

......The money that was wasted on this elephant project should have been used to build all the deplorable roads in Abeokuta. Currently, Ogun state does not have a single motorable road to boast of.

Did you read the post or you just reasoned from the vent? It's a cargo airport, bro. Not a enger airport

Wetin concern me with maiming a child?

Who said love is convenient 2 give?

what am saying is that children/teenagers are not without responsibility

The danger am talking about is not the one they feel

Teachers can offend

Students can offend too

But you think your chance of having an environment that keeps you safe makes you perfect or blameless whereas it doesnt

Every teacher and every student have something to be careful about

I said itz best 2 quit, NOT MAIM.

If you and a certain number of students( from 1 and above) cant arrive at an agreement to have anything done or undone due 2 possible tragedy being the result of such attempt, then quit!

Life is that crazy!

Am speaking of avoiding stories like this!

U dont av 2 be taught a needless lesson by any student

The school management cant turn water to wine

I agree with you

HellVictorinho9:

U CANT FORCE ALL STUDENTS TO LOVE YOU EVERYWHERE AND EVERYTIME

THE BEST THING IS 2 QUIT WHEN YOU SENSE DANGER COMING

NO TEACHER IS PERFECT

SO YOU NEED 2 LEARN HOW 2 SENSE DANGER

The challenge here is believing that love is convenient to give or take. It requires dieing to self, working on trust, without hidden motives and keeping your integrity scale above par. It takes time but it works all the time. Everyone responds to attention.
In this case, there is no evidence of an applaudable student-teacher relationship. A teacher who would give a student 162 strokes of the cane has zero love and respect for the child and his humanity's. It is true that we should be able to sense danger and stay safe. The question is, 'how was this child 'dangerous' to the teacher or the school all because he was a teenager and said what a typical teenage boy who needs guidance could have said?'. The danger we see in students are the ones we created or made them to feel. They easily pay back what we give.
Our educational system is ladened with frustrators, not educators. Men who need to know the place and value of emotional and psychological stability and impact the same on a child. The world is changing. Power balance is extremely important. I pray that you and I are not caught in the web of what has happened to this teacher, the principal and the school who abused power.
Ultimately, our actions build a child. Education is beyond the classroom. It is a lifestyle! It is easier to build an able child than to fix a broken man. Teachers who believe in maiming a child, beating them until the demon leaves them...are broken men who need fixing!
Selah!!

It's not possible for the school to reject flogging and punishment..
How is that possible?
Teaching cannot be effective if there is no punishment
Reading this statement shreds my heart. This mentality is what is taking us a thousand light years backwards.
If a teacher can't say it without shouting, there is a psychological breakdown which needs to be addressed! In all of my about 15yrs of teaching, I have never lifted a finger against a child yet, the respect is next to perfect! Students will respect you because they fear you or they love you. The latter has always worked for me.
In my opinion, all teachers should take and mandatory courses on emotional intelligence, pair influence and power balance!
