I was in ibadan at the time...

I was trying to process a job offer. I spent way more than I budgeted staying in ibadan. I became very broke.

Normally, I hate asking for money from friends and family... Not even my folks.

Anyway, I had some shares/stocks I bought a long time ago whilst in school. It had even depreciated in value from what I had bought it.

I decided to sell them and survive with the cash for some time until things started going well for me again.

I called my stock broker after the whole process of sale the money was debited in . But I made a mistake. I used my other that was dormant without knowing.

So the money reflected in my ledger balance... At that time I didn't know they was a difference between ledger balance and actual balance. Only thing I was seeing there was my balance o.

Every day I will take my atm card to different atms for about a week to try and make withdrawals. Everyday I left disappointed until I realized something was wrong and went to the banks customer care where they explained to me about ledger balance and made me reactivate the already dormant before I could make withdrawals.

The crazy thing is it took me almost another week to sort out the whole issue because I went there on a weekend and the following week had a 2 day public holiday. So the bank didn't open.

One of the most frustrating periods of my life because I had the money in the at least technically and could see it in my balance but I couldn't touch it even though I was so broke and needed it to sort so much out!

Just buy rat poison for theives...

One of my favorite cities ever lived in Naija is Jos. Jos isn't same as before anymore though due to the religious swables and whatever.

In my opinion Lagos is a sh.it hole. I hate that place. Most lagosians are used to that place though and would prefer not to live in any other city in Nigeria if they had a choice.

Well, I don't think I am making excuses for her per say...

A baby is growing inside of her. It's unfair to think she isn't pressured. She isn't like the op who is here deciding whether to abandon the consequence of their bad decision. The consequences of their bad decision is growing inside of her. She can't abandon or run away from it.

It's also not fair enough to judgement based solely on what op has said. we have not heard her side of the story yet. It is only fair to try to balance our judgment by cutting her at least a small slack.

Lastly they have been together for 3 years and he didn't specify whether she has been this irrational in the past period. Or acted carelessly with her comments. So I take it its her first acting that way hence I attributed it to hormones. (By the way, women do act out of place in the presence of others including their bosses, sometimes people just don't pay attention to notice)

If she has acted irrationally in the past 3 years and it had been a constant behavior and he stuck with her till now only to abandon her now she is pregnant for being irrational then I think he is been the irrational one here.
