MadamVanessa: No, he was wrong and he is real "werey" as you have said. Most times when such question is asked, the interviewer may want to 1) the CV to the person(or maybe the person just did copy and paste or claim what he is not). 2) if the person can construct a simple sentence and how well they speak . Not just the CV a lot is involved . |

babyfaceafrica:The fact that it bears the name Polytechnic doesn't mean it is the same as Polytechnic in Nigeria , some award degree up to PhD . So, if I attend an Institute of Tech in Ireland or Polytechnic in Finland does that make my degree inferior to Nigeria degree. Oga, the school is mot the problem, the problem is our ambassadors: a lot of them are clueless because they were appointed as "paddy-paddy" not on merit 2 Likes |

Mary08134:The first step is to ensure you use toothpaste that contain high fluoride and brush twice daily. 2). Ensure to pick your teeth before you brush going to bed. The reason I said that is because there might be spaces in between your teeth that can trap food particles that bacteria can act upon, hence the bad breath.Sometimes toothbrush cannot get in-between those spaces to remove the particles, the reason I said you should take time to do it manually . Also after doing this and brushing don't take any meal 3). Get a good mouth wash Except it is a medical condition, if not and if you follow these steps it should fix the problem. |

Promzy99:One way to solve this is using honey. Get a very good original honey take two spoon in the morning before anything even before drinking water, and two spoon of honey last thing before going to bed. Now this work like magic on my nephew who was about going to University and we were worried about bed wetting before someone recommended this and we used it, guy everybody was shocked the way it works. But note it must be ORIGINAL HONEY 1 Like |

toffyz:No, you are wrong. During the summer break in Europe is raining season in most part of Africa, hence the reason why they can have it in summer. They wanted to but it failed because the type of rain in Africa cannot be compared to Europe. CAF just have to pick a date and even before you were born(not sounding rude) they have been playing it during January/Feb. The battle between club and country regarding CAF/ACN has been on and I don't see it being resolved anytime soon. Thanks |

OlujobaSamuel: I strongly disagree with you on this. If you had said automatic I would have said hmmmm..OK, but manual guy ot is not true. OK, how do you know that for every stop you made you must take the gear back to one ? How do you know that if you take your foot off the clutch immediately the car will stall? How do you get to know the biting point to balance the clutch and accelerator ? How do you get to understand clutch control while driving and reversing ? How do you know which gear is suitable for what speed and situation, and finally how do you known when to change from one gear to the other . Guy you cannot learn all these by just watching someone driving a manual , never 1 Like |

I will advice you go to a driving school. The reason why we have unnecessary traffic and accidents especially in Lagos is as a result of bad driving ethics. Driving is more than moving a car from point A to B. Driving school ll teach you by using manual transmission, and if you can drive manual you can drive automatic, but if you can drive automatic you cannot drive manual. Things you ll learn in driving school includes and not limited to; How to check your mirror, when to signal, blind spot, reverse parking, bay parking , parallel parking, what to observe when approaching a junction, how to navigate a round about , when do you think you have priority of the road and when you don't (and pave way for other cars), how to respect other road s, lane discipline etc .No non-professional driver will teach you this. Learning the fundamentals of driving will save you and other road s. Our problem is that most drivers in Nigeria lack the basics/fundamentals of driving . So, go to driving school. 4 Likes |

adanny01: A technologist doesn't really need to be a HND holder, ok. A bachelor of technology (BTech)can also be called a technologist. Have you taken time to ask why some people are awarded BSc Engineering/BEng Engineering/BTech Engineering /BEngTech Engineering? They are all Engineering degree but they are different in their field of training. BSc Engineering: Engineering Scientist BEng Engineering: Engineers BTech Engineering /BEngTech Engineering: Engineering Technologist. So, people can be trained to be a technologist and hold a degree in Engineering. Our problem in Nigeria is that we don't like to advance, hence the reason why our growth is so slow. Today in Ethiopia, nurses are allowed to carry out Caesarean(https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/stories-49666419), but if you suggest that in Nigeria you will hear even tailor telling you that it never, why should that be , it is not possible, but hey it does happen. HND holders especially in STEM should be allowed to get to the pinnacle. If it may interest you it takes 120 credit load to get a degree in Nigeria (correct me if I am wrong), but it takes about 180 credit loads to get HND(that is why when you go for PGD 80% of what you ll be taught are what you have already done during your HND days ) 4 Likes |

joelag:Very sure. Transit visa is only required if you want to enter the country, but if you are to get a flight from the airport i.e you are not leaving the airport then you dont need a transit visa. Example, Travel via Alitalia from UK to Italy, from Italy Alitalia to Nigeria, but if I am travelling to Nigeria and I have to change Airport when I get to Italy, I must get a transit visa to enter the country to go to the next airport. If all I need is to change flight at thesame airport without leaving the airport, then I dont need a transit visa, since I'm not leaving the airport and going into town . 1 Like |

Deola2020: It is easy. Tell your friend to get a flight that goes from China to Nigeria, example is Ethiopia Airline and you are good to go. A transit visa is if you are leaving the airport i.e outside the airport. If you are to catch thesame flight that brought you from China you dont need a transit visa, but if you want to leave the airport then you'll need a transit visa. The summary of all get Ethopia airline or Turkish airline, even if it is Lufthansa, in as much is Lufthansa that ll bring you to Naija then you dont need a transit visa. 1 Like |

Some people here ll not accept the action of the lady, hence they are here typing rubbish. My guy, do you have your family close by like sisters ,if yes call them and ask them to help you out. If not look for another means. The truth is that your wife is being strong headed and if you keep begging her she may make some comment that may trigger your reflex, so be careful. According to you, you have tried to bring up various way to help her in a way to make the job less stressful and she refuses. So, put her in one corner try everything to ensure that the meeting go well. This thing is not everyday , is once in 20month almost 2yrs. One day your friends ll come visit and she ll tell you that she can make food for them to eat. Just bone her, and look for a way out. 3 Likes |

2cribz: This is my problem with an average Nigerians. We stylish encourage fraudulent act. What is bad is bad. Nothing is wrong if the guy price it at 10kobo, all the seller needs to do is to tell the guy no. Is that simple, saying guy why youself go buy H.T for 25k is wrong, that is what he has, if the seller is not comfortable he should reject the offer and say "oga e no gree 25k, plz buy from me you no go see am buy at that price". It is that simple. I have been a victim in 2008 and I promised myself not to enter Alaba to buy not even a stone. Guy , what is wrong is wrong 7 Likes |

ibuildstuff: The discrimination is because we have poor leadership that are just one way traffic. Just to let you know if your HND is evaluated in the US/Canada it is equivalent to a degree. The reason is because in these countries and most countries outside Nigeria/Africa, they use the number of credit that you have taken to award a degree. e.g to obtain a degree you must have take 360 credit load. So, if they calculate your credit load from ND1 - HND2 is about 390 credit load(got this from a friend that used his HND for masters program in Canada). Nigeria university (correct me if I am wrong, but I am sure) take 120 credit (get your transcript and add all your credit load)load to obtain a degree. This tells you that the Poly guys take more credit load than their university peers, yet they are discriminated. You can see it when most HND guys go for the PGD program 80% of the courses are repetition of what they did in poly (HND) i.e if they continue with what they studied at the Poly. I think, if we want to move our education system forward, we need to copy the Finish system of Education. In Finland they have the Polytechnic system (also known as University of applied Sciences) and they have a conventional University. The Polytechnic system runs Degree and Masters only, while the conventional Universities run Degree, Masters and PhD. Degree holders from the Polytechnic can use their degree to apply either for a masters or PhD in a conventional universities. The truth is that I really don't see the reason for the discrimination, to be honest. Some of the products from both systems are half baked, and only few are serious and brilliant. Discrimination like this kills some ideas. for example Imagine someone with good potential to come up with a grand breaking invention, and such person is being discriminated because he has HND. The person will lose, the country will suffer and we all remain stagnant. My own Opinion is that , there is no reason for the discrimination, because you have phD holders lecturing in the Universities /Polytechnics. Likewise Masters degree holders lecturing in both institutions. I don't need to be taught by a professor to get a first degree, if the person to teach me has a PhD, that is it, because PhD is the highest qualification anybody can hold. So , the discrimination is not necessary. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

vibre: Nigeria will never , I repeat never grow if people like this exist. The reason why people are angree and believe in jungle justice is because of injustice, and I'm shocked people liked his comment. "You killed police officers and find out someone is in handcuff", why not interrogate the person before releasing him. Sometimes I wonder what Nigeria will become 10yrs from now with people like you in the system. |

One of the most influential spiritual and traditional leaders in northern Nigeria, the Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II, has been dethroned for "insubordination" after a prolonged dispute with a local governor. Correspondents say the move is likely to provoke anger amongst the emir's huge number of followers in the mostly Muslim north of Nigeria. A controversial former bank chief, he came to the emir's throne in 2014 after exposing massive corruption in the oil sector. The BBC's Ishaq Khalid in Nigeria says while the sacking has shocked many Nigerians, to those in the northern state of Kano it is not a surprise. Since 2017 relations between the emir and the current Kano governor - Abdullahi Ganduje - have been strained. ers of the governor believed the emir had opposed his re-election last year. After the 2019 election, the governor split the Kano emirate into five and appointed four more emirs - to weaken Mr Sanusi’s influence. Mr Sanusi has not yet commented on his removal - and his replacement has not been announced yet. Traditional leaders hold few constitutional powers but are able to exert significant influence as they are seen as custodians of both religion and tradition. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-africa-47639452?ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_live&ns_linkname=5e663b334958db067adf1404%26Nigeria%27s%20revered%20emir%20of%20Kano%20dethroned%262020-03-09T13%3A19%3A58.934Z&ns_fee=0&pinned_post_locator=urn:asset:33e969c0-28bf-4fc0-9333-343dd62bce24&pinned_post_asset_id=5e663b334958db067adf1404&pinned_post_type=share |

Blue3k2: I think most people are getting this Amotekun wrong. "Mr brilliancy", can you tell me what is the difference between Hisba in Kano and Amotekun in the south west. Amotekun is not a police force, Amotekun is like a Vigilante. Now, is Vigilante a recognize group ? Why, didn't the FG stop Ganduje from establishing the Hisba group? I think Malami is the most clueless AGF ever to come out from Nigeria. Also, is it written in the constitution that you can defend yourself if your life is at risk. The only way is for the FG to scrapped every vigilante group in all the federation and only the police service and armed forces ll be the only recognized body in the country. One issue with Nigerians is that everybody tend to know everything e.g A lawyer want to talk in the field of engineering, the same lawyer want to talk in the field of medicine, the same lawyer want to talk in the filed of forensic and ing, hence complicating issue. The day I gave up on Nigeria , was when some Nigerians came out to Afunaya(DSS Spoke man) for saying that an accused will be knocked down if released, and many Nigerians said yes, even after the court has given the order to release the accused 1 Like |

So, that was why they have upto that number of soldiers. Please next time try to read , digest, and try to comprehend before you speak . Is there anywhere in the world where people are forced to celebrate Christmas? If not, then Daddy Freezer or what did he called himself should shutup. 'I believe Christmas has been approved by God', if not show me a festival that is celebrated so much all over the world like Christmas. So, whoever thinks that Christmas is 'ojuju' celebration, then the person should not celebrate or receive gift in the name of the season not even sweet. Please, I think Daddy Freezer has no job (ise o ka lara). All I know is that Christmas has come to stay and 'God has approved it' and whoever is not satisfy should go to third mainland and jump into the Lagoon. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THOSE THAT BELIEVE IN THE SEASON. |

Can you hear yourself ? In America, the American soldiers are being equipped with good equipments. No American soldier will fight with a 1983 /1970 equipment in 2018. The guy in that video is not lamenting that he doesn't want to fight,he is saying the equipment a are bad. I saw a T72 tank in that video, and I was like no way in 2018. When did the western part of Nigeria become so "religious fanatic". Will wearing of hijab makes these young girls become holy overnight ? will wearing of Hijab make them more or less respectful, law abiding etc. We should concentrate more on morals. Our major problem in NIGERIA is because we lack morals, lack of moral brought us all to where we are today. If everybody practice Islam or Christianity today, that will not change the decay in Nigeria and in as much as our attitude remain like this our religion believe ll remain questionable 4 Likes |

Please pray that the table don't turn around. People like you ll call themselves leaders of tomorrow , "no be so" ? |

Jabo1000: it’s. Its not about speaking right English, is about accent. Both white and black hardly understand us. You will hear I’m sorry, I’m sorry most time or excuse me.[/quote] It is not about accent, everybody has accent. The problem is that we Nigerians pronounce words wrongly, if you don't pronouce a word correctly the 'whites' will find it difficult to make sense from what you are saying. In Nigeria most words with 'TH' will often neglect or throw away the 'TH' and replace it with 'T'. Example we pronounce teeth as tit or with as wit, Thank as tank. If you pronounce words correctly pple will find it easy to understand you. So the issue is not the accent as everyone Even the Brits and Americans all have accent. That is why when Obama speaks his accent is different from that of Trump and both are different from that of Theresa May. |
