Good day everyone,

I just got the gcms notes I requested and found out the two reasons my application was refused.

First of all, they wrote that my friend's wife didn't put a ed letter of invitation to my application, and that since I will be travelling with my xxxxx child. There may not be any economic ties or financial reasons to come back to Nigeria.

I believe I can easily respond to this in my next application. However, I noticed that they wrote that I will be travelling with my .....child (......was cleaned off from the notes that was sent to me). I am guessing the..... means US or American child cos I gave birth to my daughter in the US but I didn't mark that she will be accompanying me to Canada, so I'm wondering why they will just assume that and then put it in my notes, then clean it off when I requested.

The second reason for the refusal is because my purpose of travel was vague and poorly documented.
My purpose of travel is visit, and doing some sightseeing. How do I put in an impressive purpose of travel especially because my purpose of travel is visit.

What company in Nigeria sends you on an 8-week “business” trip to Europe within less than a year of employment? As far as the VO is concerned, she’s basically shopping around for countries to have her babies for citizenship purposes.

I was at the embassy some days back and a lot of people had gone before me, no one was given Visa, not even the elderly . I sincerely don't know what's happening.

Hubby: Uk twice I was there just last month, Italy, , Netherlands.

My son was even playing with her and repeating most of the things she was saying and we were smiling and laughing including herself.
Then she hands over the yellow slip, telling us

Me and hubby were shocked, she refused to check our documents, I had a budget sheet of 19k dollars, wch I was willing to spend because of renewal denial rate, ( I had saved enough to spend that amount) I was so weak and perplexed.. after being on d queue for so long preparing everything, we had about 4 bank statement loaded... She refused to see any....
It is well.... I just think we should stop pumping the USA with our hard earned money or better still anyone denied Visa should be refunded afterall, it's called "Visa fee", y pay money when you won't get the visa.

So I just finished my 221g interview with a rejection..Lady we got was very mean though.

Me: yes( i came with hubby and son)

Me:No we have a daughter too

Vo: Can i see your receipts
Me: Hands over receipt
Vo: How much did you pay while looking through

Vo: I mean for just Hospital only

Vo: But on the receipt i say bill of 15k but you paid 2200 even though hospital said paid in full
Me: I paid what the hospital quoted in full.The 2200 excludes payment for doctor, peds, patho etc and I didnt use anu government funds as stated in the hospital letter addressed to the embassy(She cuts in and says thats okay please)
Types for a while and hands us a yellow paper saying you will know why you dont qualify as stated in the paper

There is nothing like over documentation but under documentation usually costs people..so include all you feel will boast your chances, you never know
