Please Is it possible for a 2'2 graduate having a masters to apply for a job that requires minimum of 2'1?

The guy is probably a man already( married) or in a serious relationship that he wants to preserve against all odds. So don't blame him. One thing I will advice you and all girls generally is that the best fruits are located at the top ends of the tree, if you want the best then go for it nomatter how many times you fail trying to. If you keep waiting for the ones that will fall by you for you to pick, you may not get exactly what you want. BTW, I salute your courage. But if you kill that courage just because you failed the very first time, then, how can you prove to that you will have enough courage to stand by your dreams no matter how tough it is?

Bros, I can't thank you enough for this great enlightement. You have really opened my eyes to a lot of opportunities. God bless you sir. However, I need your proffesional advice, please if you can advice me because I have almost stoped believing in myself. I am currently in 400 level, mechanical engineering FUTA student, I am doing internship in a coy co-owned by a relative hence the oportunity I have to do an internship here. My greatest problem is that as my result stand now, I can only graduate with a 2:2, this is not because I wasn't serious in school, in fact, I do read like all my life depend on books but finnacial contraints( as I sponsor my education myself) and unforseen circumstances just didn't help things. My second problem is age, I ll b graduateing at d age of 29. All these make me loose faith in myself. The advantage I now have is that I can always come back to this company to work( although the pay is very low) but they deal majorly with instrumentation( presure safety valve caliberation) and they mostly work with oil company. I was considering working with them ( plus doing oda menia busines) to raise money and do masters in mechatronic at IIT(india). But after reading your post, I am a bit confuse as I'm really dieing to work in an o&g industry. Please your advice sir will be most welcome. God bless you sir.

Toyolad: Listen Up bro, what do you have to say about countries that provide affordable or better still free Education for their children. You just spoke my mind... People like us who went to secondary school where d highest school fees I paid was #500 and yet it was diffilcult for my parent then that I av to do menia jobs even as a secondary school student should stop any hope of going to school according to his analysis... As if they will even spend the money in aquiring standard in education even when student are made to pay school fees. All the private schools around that are paying high school fees in nigerian don't have better product. Because some people are well positioned and could afford high rate of school fees they feel others should not be educated again.. This is nigeria and not america, rate of poverty here can not be compare to america. |

I'm not suprised that some yoruba guys are claiming kpangolo, ororo and some others as yoruba words if someone could claim that 'doti' is originally a yoruba word. That's because they are now so used to the words that they feel its their language... Anyway na una sabi o

If my memory is not failing me, i think my lecturer taught me in skul dat if any engineer's work should fail as a result of using substandard materials, the engineer shall be prosecuted as an engineer is not and should never negotiate quality. He further explained that d said owner can sue the engineer for the damages caused because he is suppose to have advice him strongly as a professional never to compromise quality. So is this suppose to be part of the new engineering ethics? Coren please I don't understand this o.

Hmmmm... White people with racial discrimination. They where the one that brought christianity and thier way of religion to us in africa, they exploited us with it and are stil doing so. If its their citizen its legitimate but if he is black then its a scam. What about their many ministers that do come to nigeria to do even worse? Just because one of their citizen was arrested in north korea we knew what american goverment did. So now that the man involve is a black man then its a scam. Well God will help us and save us from all this white men who believe they are superior because of their skin colour.

horlando30: The biggest problem in Nigeria is not leadership as most people think but rather the ignorance of the followers including that displayed here on NL.. All of you are making noise as to having quality education and the need to pay heavily for that by d masses... Wel i dont blame you, its either most of you are thru with skulin or your parents were rich enough to pay for every of your needs.... I must say even with the very low amount of money we are paying in nigeria its not easy when u are sponsoring yourself through education. That is becos this is nigeria and not america,a nigerian student does not have equal opportunity with an american student. The allowances, d working opportunities, d easy money making opportunities their student have is not the same here in nigeria. So we must cry for them to not take d only opportunity we have(wich is d low tuition) away from us as it help giv ppl like us who may not be too brilliant, and not too rich to av acces to education. Its just it my broda. |

Op i totally disagree with you.... Yes they have a name in their diffrent states but not beyond thier states.... Ondo ppl will never vote fashola cos of tinubu, ekiti ppl wont vote for him against gej. Kwankwaso can only deliver kano... Anything beyond kano kwankwaso wont get.. Rochas is seen as a betrayer of the igbo ppl and ojukwu's legacy and his popularity dwindles as soon as you are out of imo state. Eastern ppl will never vote for fasola because most of his legacies and what he stands for even as a gov affect drastically the igbo man's way of business. Besides easterners beliv gej is part of dem. Notherners wil be totally divided if u picth fasola against gej.. North central will gv gej massive while d core north may fasola to som extent, kwankwaso's position is even worse here in the south. Rochas will also divide the notherners.. To me the apc's best shot against pdp is stil buhari... He has a great accros d core north, in has a huge fan base here in d south especially among d yorubas given tinubu and d likes' factor. So for now buhari is stil d match for gej. BTW im not a fan of buhari and i will never vote for him against gej.. But i just hope we av true opposition party and power is totally returned to the masses. This i know will make nigeria a better place as they will be forced to listen to d cry of th ppl. MY HUMBLE OPINION

Mr Lai mohamed, if all politians talk the way you do nigeria will b at war today. You take every orpotunity to discredit the ruling party, thats acceptable but not to the extent of trying so hard to instigate the citizen against one another. You may think you have all the money and hence even if war broke out you can always leave the country to a safe haven. But that the people will never forgive your type. Meanwhile, if pdp actually harrase apc faithfuls in this manner then i think its highly condemnable. Our belove president should do something about that as its a very wrong move from his party and its an harrasment of not just the apc but all nigerians... He had ensured he kept to his promise of delivering free and fair elections, i think he should also try to curb this menace as it violate our human right. |

I give it to FFK on this. This is how politics should be. You may call him names, ofcourse we all do make mistakes but our ability to grow beyond our mistakes in life is what makes us humans. Let the competiton continue among the parties in nigeria so we can be given what is due to us however small it might be. We dont want monopoly of power as it will make some people feel untouchable and make them act the way they like when they are given the mandate. Democracy is sweet when we can make our choice and the majority's choice not trampled upon by few powerful people in the society. NIGERIA good people great nation.

ideology:. The duty of the millitary is to protect the people, nomatter what the some of the people may be doing, now do you realise that part of the terrorist are from these people and the millitary are aware of this ever before they set out on a mission to rescue the situation? Hence it is imperative for them to realise that some of the people ( who may even be disguising as ordinary citizen as agents transfering information from the town to their camps). Hence, it is within their millitary jurisdiction to find and locate this ones and seprate them from the main citizen without putting the blame on the citizen. This is part of the trainings they recieve as millitary men which distinguish them from the civillians. Please bro, we need to condem the cowardice act of the policeman that took that shot. That is a very wrong thing to do. Meanwhile, let us also enjoy our fellow country men in these areas at this time to please be a little bit more patient and obey the rules and regulations given to them so we can together win the war against these enemy of nigeria. Thanks so much. 1 Like |
