I’ve seen moments he has dropped deep to receive the ball and push to start an attack. I wouldn’t say he’s being sluggish. If Vini had not been trying to get his own goal, we could have been up two more goals up by now.

We don’t seem to have creative players. Our players are too wide apart from each other most times and athletico players are everywhere. Athletico might actually win this.

This one screenshot from that one sequence is what you people have been circulating online since the match ended. What about the many times Rodrygo was on the RW? Our problem wasn't the wing play at all, it was the midfield and build-up. There were toomany misplaced es and no co-ordination, soo many ball losses from midfield too even when Modric came on it even got worse.

What Ancelotti needs to fix is the creativity from midfield, it was obvious that we needed Toni Kroos last night but he is gone now so we need to find other ways to build up and circulate the ball accurately.

Youre being dishonest here. Rodrygo who is supposed to mount the RW made no attacking threat from the RW. Let me paint a picture for you. If we had someone like Arjen Robben in our team, do you think you’d see him on the LW as often as you saw Rodrygo on the LW? Having attacking threats from both wings bring balance and more options which equals higher chances of scoring goals and winning a match. Guler might not be Robben’s in-form level but is more effective and will give us more options from that wing.

We need to prioritise the team’s success over making space for a beloved player of the club to the detriment of the club. Rodrygo now needs to be coming on as a sub on the LW. That’s the very best decision for the team’s success if you ask me.
