I also use my gtb master card for paypal since last 2 years. I tried to make payment second week of last month but it declined. Yesterday went to first bank to make enquiry and the customer care told me CBN has stoped all payment from master card untill further notice. Should any nigerian need to send money. U have to open a visa dollar wit $200 minimum balance.


My conclusion. The cbn governor intend to make all aboki in dollar business rich. Why can't he allow at least $200 maximum limit per month.

I have tried usung GTBank, First bank and Access bank, Naira Mastercard to pay for things on eBay and it didn't work for me since this year January....so I communicated their customer care and the mentioned that CBN gave directives to block all transactions using the Naira Mastercard.
