Am in Qatar now. Earning good pay as a Safety personel. However qatar is a hot, muslim country and even tho its fast developing, there are still mega restrictions and lack of openness and most jobs here are in construction cos its a developing nation. If Construction finish? Then no more work. I cant be here when that happens. I need to move and it has to be U.S cos no matter the country I move to, if its not U.s, i wont feel settled. And by move i mean move to u.s forever. No more coming back to Naija. Raise american family, live and die in america.

What are my options. How best can i come to u.s. Am late 20s, single, bsc holder, smart have about 2mil naira in savings so far. Wanna move from qatar latest 2020.

I am glad you have somewhat long-term plan regarding moving (vision 2020). I don't know your Qualifications however, i think you have good options (judging by this post)

You are a safety personnel, so why not a reasonable association that tallies with your work experience (and/or qualifications). The ides is that it gives you the best course of action for a B1/B2. I do believe the Visa officer will look into your record as being employed in Qatar to make that decision. (attending meetings, training and workshops of the organizations you are a member of is seen as a form of career development. it gives more validity to your visa application)

Also, you can look into the student visa. Maybe it is time to actually advance your education. look into schools that has good ties with Qatar (and UAE in general). There should be American schools close to you that can allow you to transfer to their US schools or maybe do some form of student exchange and/or training in the US.

Even better,

you can look into gaining issions into US schools.

Additionally, once your B1/B2 gets issued, you can decide to look into schools while you are visiting (since it is a 2020 goal), speak with ission office and the corresponsing department ission officers.

I really can't say how best you can come to the US. Personally to me, it doesn't matter as long as you have the zeal, the determination, the skills and the dream, America is always welcoming

Bro, nothing is as scary as being surrounded by white people (old white people mostly. The younger onesjust wanna party and have a cinversation with you and maybe have sex ). You have to experience it to understand. I was scared and nervous esp around old white people. (The younger once my age are so chill). The old ones keep giving you the stare you only aee in horror movies.

I eventually figured out they were nervous too and used it to my advantage. . The thing is i know a lot of them in the town are prpbably thinking "Nigger this, nigger that" but can't say it to my face, so i delibrately make attempts like i try to approach them and see them try so hard to avoid eye and cowardly change their position

Still depends on the kind of employment. Once did a job of 35k. My boss owes you for close to a month and during that period he'd be buying new stuffs ; wrist watch, clothes and shoes. He be giving flimsy excuses for owing. For example he once told me that he couldn't pay me as at when due cos he bought a land.
