Are you the regulating authority? Is it your car that the substandard will spoil? We have been using substandard products all the while before your refinery comes up on stream. We need the substandard fuel and at a cheaper rate, that's exactly what we need. And that's the opinion of Nigerians.

This bill is not balanced. It paints the picture of only teachers molesting students. Have they not seen or head situations where students harassed their teachers. Especially, male students sending love letters to female teachers. Nor female students wearing skimppy dresses to classes to capture the interest of male teachers. Its a good bill to check sexual exploitation but should be balanced.

This govt should be advised not to take loan from world bank. What about money saved from subsidy removal which has totals about N5b. The burden of repayment of loan will still be born by the citizens via tax. Beside, the purpose of the loan taking will not be felt as it may not reach the people concern.

Results are usually witheld when there's evidence of allegation of malpractice

If the results are eventually released, one or two subjects are failed..

Well, it may have been alleged but not all allegations are true. Let's hope it will be released and comes out fine. It's won't be nice for a retake.

How does all the statistics from these agencies called fact translate to better quality of life of our citizens. Because, in the real sense of the word poverty is in the increase, people are dying, no jobs to put money in peoples pocket and someone is talking about facts in the light of statistics. There may be economic growth but no economic development. Omokri should answer these questions ones asked by Erudite scholar, Professor Dudley Seer, since there is economic growth from his statistics, what about poverty? Standard of living? And unemployment? Between May last year and now.

Another plore to shift production date. Continue to deceive yourselves. The public knows the truth. The refinery may not produce any product this year. That's the truth.

Yes. Let the patriotism start from them. And until the masses rise up against this inequality the situation will not change. I can't imagine parliamentarians being paid hardship allowance and newspaper allowance and so on. Where else is it done. The political class are the problem of this country.

If the strike is called off without any agreement, the organized labour will be digging their grave. 1. If amicable agreement is not reached, within this period, it will be difficult to embark on another strike, for reason being that the Fed govt will run to court for injunction. 2. The fed govt not easily yield to their demand knowing the strike is called off, and calling calling workers out again will be childish. My advice to the labour union is that, agreement could be reached within three days of intensive meeting since only the minimum wage is the only substantive issue of the collective bargaining. Don't call off the strike. Sustain the tempo. Meet day and night get what you want, then, call of the strike. If not, you will later realize govt is dribbling you. May l add that this is one of the strikes carried out by labour that has wider of workers, if the labour mismanage it, their integrity will be at stake.

Jamb is conducting supplementary exam for the candidates whose results were under investigation and blamed the rescheduling on the initial centres for substantial non compliance to their standard. Can they just explain to us, who accredit these centres for the exam. Were there no jamb or adhoc personnel to ensure compliance. For me, this is an untenable excuse to cover some deficiencies. What Jamb should know is that a lot of resources, time and energy have been lost in the cancelled exam and the candidates performance may even be worse in the rescheduling exam due principally to loss of interest. There is no more spark in them, their spirit is down even as two weeks preparation period is given. That is my take, willy nilly.

Three days a go, I struck a post on this platform: Jamb and results investigation in the education section of Naira land (Plse refer), expressing my displeasure for the unending withholding of candidates results on ground of investigation. And appealing to Jamb to release those results as soon as possible. Outcomes of that post were those who shared similar concern and condemned the attitude of the body in handling the situation, especially as it bothers lack of information on the status of the candidates concerned. There were a few others who convoke the toga of credibility on the exam body. Today, my fears, has been confirmed, as Jamb has rescheduled those candidates whose results they withheld to retake the examination again. And not just that, the body calls it supplementary exam. My question is why? Since, you investigated these candidates, what have you found out? It betrays logic that you investigated a person and found him not guilty and fail to release him and his belonging. Jamb should tell us clearly, what happened to those results they withheld, because they had incriminated the said candidates by investigating them. Right thinking parents wants to know. The rescheduling of the exam for this same category of candidates you withheld their results and tag it, supplementary, makes me to question the body again on this. Is it that the candidates missed the exam? What makes it supplementary. I want to say, that I am pain. The time, the resources and the energies dissipated worth recompense. Jamb should be not be allowed to do this with impunity. Law makers should take this up. Again, I am disillusioned about this country, when will we get it right? BVAS was like this.

l have no doubt that jamb is the only credible exam in Nigeria secondary school.
But investiating students results for more than a month with out communicating to the students is too low.
Mrshape:

He is incompetent, more than a month after they released result they are still investigating about 20k result, without communicating to the students about progress, a CBT examination that was done under security cameras, and biometric verification.
Many students have lost opportunities because of JAMB not releasing their result yet.

I personally share same sentiment with you. The suspense created by Jamb in the minds of the candidates and families calls for concern. With CCTV camera and biometric capturing could have made the investigation faster and easier. Why the delay in the release of the results. Now, on issue of technical glitch, do you blame it on the candidates? Or on the centres?, which the approved for the exam. Beside, what information have they given to these candidated in their mail box about their status, which they mandatorily made to open; only to be allowed to spend N50 each time through direct message to 55019; and quite a number of them have spent significant sums in this regard. And until, jamb answer these questions, I think, their credibility is in doubt.

Its just about a week since JAMB released new sets of results withheld on grounds of under investigation. So far, from their statistics, about 27,000 results are still not released from few designated centres across the country. There are a lot of anxiety and fear from the candidates, parents and sponsors about the authenticity of the results but also about their fate of ing the test as as result of undue delay. These are genuine concerns, as one really wonder what JAMB is in actual sense, investigating. They should be reminded that this exam is electronic and smack of any possible infractions from the candidates exception of few cases of impersonation. I am appealing to them to as a matter of urgency conclude their investigation and release the remaining results to enable the candidates concerned plan for their future. This is a ionate appeal.

This reminds me of the spirit that existed in NLC the era of osho baba. Govt is playing playing pinpong with labour. Always using court to gag collective bargaining.
