As an HND civil engineering graduate, I moved to Abuja immediately after rounding up my service in 2017. Reaching Abuja I started applying for jobs and moving From one office to another to summit cv all to no avail. Then there was this secondary school very close to me, a very popular school in the area and I decided to to give it a try. I went there to submit my CV and to cut the whole story short I was given the job to teach physics for senior class and computer science for juniors class. I did the job one year and I quit cos I can't cope with the stress. So I started doing some hustling job on the street to survive until I met a guy through a friend who studied civil engineering too and has worked in one or two sites within Abuja. Prior to this time, I had very little experience on site which was not able to boost my confidence if offered a job to handle site. He then encouraged me to just look for site and be going even if it's without pay so that I can gain one or two experience which I did and the experience was able to make me work with a man and after that man I also work under a senior engineer on six story building from foundations. Most of the challenges that comes with working under all this one man business as a site engineer is underpayment and inconsistency of work which is the major reason for this epistle. Some periods there will be no work and considering the fact that they pay monthly, it becomes difficult for them to pay you and you now become jobless at that point. During a period in Abuja, a man I work under has no contract coming and I became jobless and within that period I was referred to another man through my inlaw. I called the man and he told me he had a bridge work in my state kogi and that when the time comes for the execution he will call me. To cut the whole story short i started working with the man on the bridge work 2023 of which I was the only engineer on site for a 30m bridge across a body of heavy flowing water and to the glory of God the bridge is standing today and i have also completed order projects under this man. I relocated from Abuja to lokoja after one year work this man because most of the contract he handles is within lokoja and suburbs. My major challenge now is we have gone to statuesque, no consistency of work and the man is beginning to tell me now that he cannot pay anymore. How can I cope with life with this on and off of site work. As a site engineer you post pictures of big work people see it and thought you are making money meanwhile you are just struggling to survive. I'm new here, so I don't know much about Nigeria and its insurgencies, but in India, Indian government has a law that prevents Indian Armed Forces from being used for internal security duty except in special cases like Jammu and Kashmir.
And even in Jammu and Kashmir, they are not allowed to use any heavy weaponry like tanks, jets, attack helicopters, etc. Basically, Indian laws prevent usage of heavy Indian weapons against its own citizens no matter the situation, even if it is insurgency and seperatism.
Does Nigeria not have a similar law? Maybe that is the reason the Nigerian Air Force isn't participating in anti- insurgency operations?

Two weeks ago I ed that Air Force Day was approaching. Then I forgot.
The sight of 3 Attak helicopters and 2 Super Tucanos flying over Five Cowrie Creek last Friday reminded me. One of the helicopters was carrying the Nigerian flag.
The Nigerian Air Force was founded on April 18th, 1964 (61 years ago). There have been open days (when of the public are allowed to visit selected air bases and aircraft), medical outreach, sports competitions and other activities to mark the event.

I wanted to get my mum a small car last year.
Didn't have money for a tokunbo so I asked my brothers to help me surf jiji for any affordable car.
They showed me a Civic 08 and since I drive one myself, I felt it would be nice to match with my mum.
My brothers and a Kazeem went for inspection and they discovered the car had a few things to be fixed which made them slash the price from 2.4M that we initially agreed to #2,050,000.
This was in June last year.
They set out to drive the car down to my house before heading to my mum's but brethrens, since June last year till this very moment as I type this. The car has only been parked from one Kazeem shop to another, on some days it was left by the road side or a petrol station for days out of frustration. I have spent above 700k on it all to no fruition. It's been almost a year now and this car hasn't made me it my house yet talk more of sending it to my mum. I ed the guy and he said he had tried by slashing the price and that was all he could do. At some point, he stopped picking my brother's calls.
Please what advice can you give me?
Can I get him arrested or take legal measures against him at least? Or has this become my headache for life?

Our general boss have been having silent issues of funds management with 3rd man. The money in question is illegal office collections and disbursal among top 3; excluding 2nd in command, as the lady doesn't involve in shady dealings like 1 and 3.
Their deals ought to be between them as we lower levels have no business there, but it came to light because of normal women choo choo and our boss is the greedy type (chop and clean everything alone).
The issue between them excalated from silent quarels to sounding noise in office daily.
Boss had to pull 3rd man down by removing some juicy roles from his table (LITTLE DID SHE KNOW THAT, SHE WAS DIGGING HER OWN PIT)!
3rd man got angry because boss really publicly mouth shamed and brought out some weird stuffs about him to light. Nigga went to dig boss's darkest unknown DOPE deals, stayed low and waited till the big meeting day with our top supervisors and external officials from Head Offices.
On the meeting day, after normal deliberations and others, boss came out with lots of cho cho cho and rantings, 3rd man was called upon to defend and contribute...
We were all wawed with striking evidences and paper proof of deals, forgery and dope figures boss has been doing ALONE.

When she was asked to defend her self she couldn't but rather said; the issue cannot be adopted as correct since it has not been investigated by highe authorities...

Few weeks later, boss related to some female employees how someone came to her office after closing hours to RAPE HER, but she was able to overpower him and took his knife, while the person begged and she freed him; WITHOUT KNOWING HIM OR PRESSING CHARGES.
