My sister is a kind hearted girl, she's been this way since way back.

She gained ission into the university and the place she stays in lacks electricity as it is a village in anambra state, I had to get a solar for her to help her cope with charging her stuffs and also having an illuminated room.

Well, she made friends who are in the same department living in her lodge, at first, they only came to her to charge their phones and reading light and gist but it has now graduated to them eating up all her food whenever they come to her room to charge.
She called today asking me to help her with cash for food stuff, this is someone that went back to school barely two weeks ago with enough cash and food stuffs.

First of all, I must commend your parents for raising such a good-natured and kind human being. However, you must advise her not to allow herself to be constantly taken advantage of. I had friends like that in school who took advantage of me. The moment I made it clear that it wasn't going to be business as usual, they all turned enemies. Your sister could make serious enemies of she doesn't handle this matter with wisdom.

If she has enough money, she should be eating outside. She should go to a restaurant and eat, come back home and sleep. If her foodstuffs finishes, she shouldn't restock. Tell her to always complain that she is broke when her friends are around. She should also visit her so-called friends and eat their food.

I have realized that you can never be good to people of this world.

I recently moved to a new state and my neighbour and a so-called friend wouldn't let me rest. They'd always come to eat my food. I just stopped opening the door when they came knocking. They'd knock for about 20 minutes, but I won't open up. They'd call me, it will ring but I won't pick up. They've stopped coming and my foodstuffs last for a long time.

I am a very generous person. God sees my heart. I don't have a problem feeding an entire community if I have more than enough, but I am struggling. My brother is 24 years old. His entire life has been spent fucking up. The thing is he lies, cheats, gamble and steals. He has succeeded in selling almost everything in the house be it fridge, stab, pressing iron, electronic and manymore
Now he has extended it by going out to steal from neighbors and people.
He as been arrested so many times and been bailed. Now everyone in the family is tired of him mostly my mum she can't eat good food because of him because his becoming worse.

My brother used to be like that, now he has changed. He is currently in University with a 4.2 CGPA.

At a point we were afraid he was going to be caught for theft and lynched. One day he got into a fight with someone and bit the person. We encouraged the person to press charges. We even paid the person to press charges. We wanted him to go to prison, so he wouldn't steal and be lynched. The plan worked and he was sent to jail for two years. He came back a changed person, but after a while he reverted back to his old ways. We kicked him out of the house.

After some months we heard that he was arrested for breaking into someone's house. He could have been lynched if not for the timely intervention of the police. He was seriously beaten though. He was sentenced to 2 years. While in prison he sent message to us apologizing for all the things he had done. He begged us to bring him a pair of slippers, toiletries, toothpaste, blanket, vaseline etc, which we did.

Today he is a changed person. The lies he used to tell was as a result of the drugs he was talking. The stealing was motivated by the desire to fuel his addiction to drugs. He doesn't take drugs anymore. He wrote JAMB and got itted in 2020.

You guys need to take firm action.

If not for bad leadership, Nigeria should be among the powerful countries. Decades ago, a lot of African countries were more prosperous and organized than China. Today China is the world's second-largest economy.

Flooding has done irreparable damage to parts of Asaba, Delta state. Property worth millions are on the verge of destruction and people's livelihoods and investments are being threatened.

The Delta state government needs to come to the rescue of these residents. It's painful to see that these beautiful houses are flooded.

This is the opposite of what I'd do. I wouldn't ditch a lady because she is from a poor family and she has too many siblings. My business would always need an extra hand. I'll employ them in my businesses but they wont deal with money, just work work work work.

I won't give them free money. They must learn that there is dignity in labour.
