I would go with the suggestion to reapply and in the new application state the reasons why you got rejected earlier especially if you are sure you never received a call from them and then if you can check if your phone number is correct also stating the reference number of the calls you made to ukvi trying to sort the issue. For me, this is the best option especially if you still have your bank statement as it is with the money in your and then use priority service.

I believe this option is better as istrative review would take months before a resolution.


Pls check your phone number very well on the your application,cos if you gave a wrong phone number is your fault, otherwise do an istrative review.

I am in the same situation. I went to vfs and they mailed Accra ,they replied immediately that they should do the biometrics for me which I did .

Anything can happen in 13 days, but keeping fingers crossed for you. CIC is unprectable and nobody can tell you when they are likely to give you a decision. Just wait and see and if nothing comes, defer till January. Wait for them to request renewed letter of ission even if you get the renewed papers, just wait for CIC to request it, don't just begin to send it to them. Give them a little challenge too, just like they gave you challenge.
