Ghana people hate Nigerians with a ion. I cannot tell you enough about my experience with them in London either at workplace or in business. I would never go to Ghana to do business as a Nigerian.

I can see that all the places mentioned are in the north. Why must all the bad things happen in the north or originate from there?

The salaries of all these poor federal government workers could be less than what the Senate president alone gets. Let us be more serious and tell ourselves the truth and do the right thing in Nigeria.

Rochas is at it again. I hope that the proposed Imo airline will operate internationally. Bravo my unbeatable governor, we are solidly behind your drive to make Imo state the destination place and the envy of all Nigerians.

If this is true then I move for the impeachment of GEJ as president of Nigeria. His government has no solution to corruption, excessive waste of money by politicians including himself. He has no serious plans for the common man and for transformation of the country. He no longer has my .

Nigeria no doubt is a place of great opportunities even though all is not free and fair. However anything is possible for those who persevere and have belief in themselves and faith in God.

If any state in Nigeria could enjoy 24 hrs electricity supply, then it gives some hope to other states in the country to believe that their states could be next. It would surely go round to all the states. It is only a matter of time.

I don't like the idea of some people suggesting that Rochas should contest for presidency in 2015. For God's sake we need this man for a second term in Imo state to complete all the good things he started. I am only too worried about how his achievement could be sustained by anybody coming to govern Imo state after him. We don't want to go back to the dark days of 419ers like Ohakim.

To complement Rochas' manifold achievements and his ambitious vision for Imo state, I would urge him to ensure uninterrupted electric power supply and availability of portable water for the whole of Imo state. This will encourage more investments in Imo state. He may not need to seek foreign investors to come to Imo state because there are enough Imolites who would want to invest in their fatherland if the environment is conducive.

Thank God I am an indigene of Imo state. I will soon be visiting my state to see things for myself. I returned from Imo state in November 2011. Before I left a lot of road works were already going on as soon as the rains appeared to slow down. At this rate I might be tempted to bring my last two children to come back and pursue their university education in Imo state instead of studying in UK where they are also citizens. This is because they will all end up having debts of up to £30,000.00 - £40,000.00 by the time they complete their degrees. The debt will comprise of their school fees and maintenance allowances, which they will have to repay to UK government when they complete their studies and find jobs, which pay up to and above £21,000.00 per anum. It's a shame my first three children are already stuck with such debts, which is really unfortunate. I feel this way because during my time I studied even up to masters degree level in Nigeria and I was never indebted to the government in any way because the school fees and maintenance were affordable even to average Nigerian parents. May God bless and protect Rochas and may Ohakim roast in hell fire.

May the same become the fate of the residences of IBB, OBJ, Atiku, Abacha and all those our undeserving past leaders of Nigeria who looted our treasury thereby impoverishing a great majority of Nigerians. I believe that the day will come.

My son is in his final year and has just about three months to sit for his final degree exams in pharmacology (coming up in May 2012) at the University of London. He complains that since the beginning of January 2012, he has been finding it very difficult to catch a sleep. Consequently he has been unable to concentrate on his studies and lectures. He appears to be suffering from insomnia. During the day he feels drained of energy and tired and unable to function properly to do his work. He has visited his GP several times asking for medication to enable him sleep properly but was refused medication because the doctors feel that he is too young at 21 years to start relying on sleeping peels. He said that the doctors instead suggested that he drinks hot chocolate and take hot baths in addition to taking paracetamol. He also complains of having migraines whenever he tries to concentrate during lectures. He is of the opinion that his condition will affect his performance in his degree exams. He feels that he might need more time to sit for his final exams. I have visited his university with him to speak with his personal lecturer and demanded that he could be allowed more time to sit for his exams possibly later this year or maybe even in 2013. His lecturer suggested that he musters courage and complete his degree exams this year as deferring any exams till next year would not help him as he would lose focus and touch with his academics. I need suggestions and urgent help from anybody who has something tangible to offer either from experience, professional advice etc. |

Hotie, if your claim is correct, I am truly proud of people like you. You need a lot of discipline, guts, determination and courage to do so in this era of sinfulness in the world. However you did not indicate how old you are.

Research into African (Nigerian) witchcraft should be sponsored by private individuals as the government would not be keen to do so. I feel that it is an entirely untapped resource for Africa as a whole and Nigeria in particular as the continent has comparative advantage in this unique field of science that would enable us to be at par with the developed world in a special way.

I think that this woman is running out of money and ideas. She left her ministerial appointment, which was handed out to her on a platter of gold and went to contest for election as a senator in her state thinking that she had a great chance of success? She is now facing up with the realities of her popularity as well as her ignorance of the game of Nigerian politics.
