According to a report by Eagle Online, a lawyer and another man were found dead in a Toyota Camry car with registration number FGG 931 AE, at the popular Inter-Bau round-about in Asaba Delta State yesterday Thursday December 12th.

The lawyer and the enger were said to be returning from a court session when they suddenly started foaming in the mouth and nose in the air-conditioned car. They were dead within minutes according to eye witnesses.

Explaining the mystery behind the deaths, a source said he believes the men were poisoned.
“They must have inhaled a poisonous substance thrown into their car from where they were coming from. If not, how would they have died inside the car they were riding in?”
I identity of the lawyer and the enger, believed to be a bricklayer, have not been confirmed. Their bodies have been deposited at the Federal Medical Center, in Asaba.

The weird thing about this so-called Alekwu is that it supposedly kills the husband of an adulterous woman...like what kind of oracle is that??

Just based on my memory, I don't think I have been treated differently for using my Nigerian port. But I do instances it appears I was being looked at extra hard by other patrons for carrying my Nigerian port.
If you've not been harasssed or treated differently for being a Nigerian port holder, then you simply haven't travelled enough...

annoymous: I'm a 25 yr old medical doctor who recently concluded the compulsory one year NYSC. I am not particularly happy with medicine and I think I only became a doctor due to family/environmental pressure. I have a fairly nicely paying job so it ain't about the pay.

I'm going for a Masters in Public Health this fall in a highly reputed university and am now thinking of starting over. write the SAT, and go back for a first degree in petroleum engineering.

I want a job I'll be happy doing for the rest of my life. better late than never, I guess. what are your thoughts? thanks a mil
I guess we r are in the same boat. I'm 25 as well studied abroad and I'm doing my housejob in Nigeria but I'm just disillusioned with medicine. Its frustrating when you see what your friends who either quit medicine or just read other courses are doing with their lives and you are just stuck in this rut called medicine. Trust me majority of the doctors who say they enjoy what they do are saying so because they have resigned themselves to their fate.
The funny thing is remaining a doctor should be a no-brainer for me since my dad is a surgeon and owns a reputable hospital in this country. And all I would need to do is 'take over' when I have specialized. But with every ing day I just realize more that this isn't what I really want to do. I'm tired of living up to other people's eXpectations. I'll be going for an MPH next year in the UK where it takes 1yr as opposed to 2 in the US and that's the end of practicing core medicine for me.
'When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.'
Good luck bro.

PDP folks shivering at the thought of El-Rufai's missiles shattering them to pieces...

cheesy
Dude don't deceive urself. APC isn't going anywhere. I used to be optimistic about APC being a strong and viable opposition for the erstwhile untouchable PDP but their leader Buhari's recent statements have made me realize that there is no hope for that party. PDP who should have been on their p's and q's can now relax and do as they please cos buhari has shown himself to be the monster he really is. Nigerians want an end to corruption alright(which is the major if not only thing buhari has going for him), but we would rather die than have another dictator and extremist take over the reins of leadership in this country.

Jakumo: Carbon-monoxide poisoning from a silencer leak in their car, especially while stuck in traffic, would indeed put all occupants into a deep slumber that could lead to a comatose state, followed by death, if they are not removed from the source of the exhaust leak and given oxygen quickly.
The only person who seems to know wha he's talking about. This is a clear case of carbon monoxide poisoning. These guys shud have been rushed 2 the ER immediately instead of being stared at cluelessly.
Secondly if u look closely at d first pic, the people aren't looking at d prado, they r looking past it.

In an effort to determine the top crime fighting agency in Nigeria, The president narrowed the field to three finalists:
the SSS, the Army, and the Nigerian Police force.
The three contenders were given the task of catching
a rabbit which was released into the forest.

The SSS went into the forest. They placed animal informants throughout. They questioned all plant and mineral witnesses. After three months of extensive investigation they concluded that rabbits do not exist

The Army went into the forest. After two weeks without a capture, they burned the forest killing everything in it, including the rabbit. They made no apologies. The rabbit deserved it.

The Nigerian police went into the forest. They came out two hours later with a badly beaten bear. The bear was yelling, " Okay, Okay, I agree, I'm a rabbit, I'm a rabbit!"

A company that will invest $100 billion does not have a website, but is listed on the website of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission. I hope we are not this gullible.

Instead of foolish, stone-age, bone-headed policies like this, these idiots should find a way to make banks give student loans. Education is way too cheap in Nigeria and this is the reason our institutions cannot survive on their own without government handouts. Education is expensive and any system of free education is just not sustainable.

As the saying goes 'government has no business doing business.' These trains should have been concessioned to a private operator and then regulated by the government.

ifeness: We black people have been brainwashed to the extent that we(especially our parents) do not realise that we are being seriously raped mentally, spiritually even financially. How could our so called "leaders" keep cheating us and yet not a single protest? We have all been softened by religion. Radicals are never religious people.we need more young nigerians to boycott any religious organization and do these crap politicians dirty! Question them on their day to day activities, make those position a hot seat for whoever sits on them. They are just too bloody comfortable !

The white man must have studied us well before giving us christianity- beceuse he must have noticed we africans worship anything( including stones). Religion was used as a blind fold to steal from us! Now Oyedepo and co have all built a fortune doing the same damn thing!

We all need to be radical if we want to break this heavy yoke .

Case in point: Jos, Plateau State.
In the late 80s and 90s Jos used to be the tin mining capital of Nigeria. For some reason at the same time there were so many active (white) missionaries aggresively 'evangelising,'opening churches and schools, etc. But as the tin dried up so did the missionaries.

Am I the only person seeing this grave discrepancy between the topic and the actual content?
Topic: 'Danbaba can neither talk nor see.'
And then: 'The next day I
went to the hospital when my boss
saw me he then smiled and waved at
me he did not speak with me'
@OP Get ur story straight...
