Those data was derived from the NBS data which was released in this August by NBS.

The chart I shared you is the actual count of students that sat for those exams and those that ed with 5 credits and above.

For example, it is seen that more SW students have 5 credits and above than every other region in Nigeria. Infact Lagos, Oyo, and Ogun make up the first 4 states that got the highest number of students that ed WAEC.

However, if you look at the data by percentage which is what Statisense did, states in the SS & SE have more percentage of student that ed more than the SW.

Both metrics is good based on what you chose to do with the data.

More than half of the students of Lagos state are Igbos.
