A document obtained by SaharaReporters indicated that the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) was notified by the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) of plans by Boko Haram militants to carry out a massive attack in February.

The confidential memo dated February 6, 2018, and titled "Plans By BHT To Carry Out Massive Attacks In Maiduguri And Damaturu" was signed by Brigadier-General EA Adeniyi.

The military, however, disregarded the instruction to stay on high alert, as troops were withdrawn from Dapchi in Yobe state, where over 100 school girls were kidnapped.

Deputy Director (Public Relations), the Theatre Command, Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu in a statement, said the military should not be blamed for the latest round of horror, as troops handed a peaceful and calm situation to the Police.
However, the Nigerian police has denied the claim, stating there was not proper handing-over done to their men.

The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sumonu Abdulmaliki, said the military never handed over Dapchi town to the Police.

In a personally signed statement, Mr. Abdulmaliki explained that Yobe State remains a security emergency being monitored by security agencies.

Operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Security Corp (LNSC) have arrested six suspects for their alleged hip of a notorious cultist gang and raping of underaged students.

The suspects, who were apprehended following intelligence and discreet action at Agarawu area of Lagos Island East of the state , were accused of gang raping three students of Junior Secondary School, aged 15 , 13 and 13 years named simply as Maryam, Sulia and Alimot.

Identified as Laguda Kamal, 20 years, Muyideen Aigoro, Kayode Damilare, 20 years, Quadri Ajayi, 27 years, Idoogun Yinusa and Yinka Adewuyi, the suspects were alleged to have initially initiated the victims into their cult gang known as “Eiye” before raping them one after the other.

They were said to have perpetrated the sinister act at the residence of their gang leader identified simply as Wakili now at large.

Chairman of the LNSC Deputy Inspector General of Police, Israel Ajao (RTD), while parading the suspects Thursday, disclosed that they usually visit the schools of their would be victim with dangerous weapon, threaten and force them to their hide out where they forcefully gang tape them.
Informing that one of the victims was held for four days, Ajao added that the cat was let out of the bag by a neighbour who reported the matter to the operatives after an alarm by the victim’s mother.

One of the victims Maryam accused Damilare and Wakili of gang raping her and Sulia after forcing them under gun point to their hideout.

” Dare came to me in the school with gun that I should follow him to Agarawu that they are going to initiate me or else he will kill me. When we got there, they formed a circle and asked me to bill down in their mist. They tie my face,sprinkle some things on my body, asked me to UnCloth and raped me umcountless time for four days “, she recounted.

I have been searching for a job online for a while now. A friend of mine recently sent me a link to the site (Jiji) and I ed and created a profile in which I put all my preferences for the job I was looking for.

After a while, I got a message on WhatsApp (From a Akamo Abdulrafui Oladipupo) about an Ushering Job available and they told me I had to pay N6,500 for registration. My guts told me not to believe, but because of the long term frustration of staying at home, I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt.

However, I got instantly blocked after I paid the money. Although it was something I saw coming, I couldn't help it but to be incredibly pissed after it had happened.
